That Jabba rail was used on the sail barge, but it was stuck into the cushion instead of on a the dais. Great review!

Nice Jabba O.O.K just a heads up the Jabba from the sail barge is a repaint from the rancor pit toys r us exclusive. So that mold has been used 3 times now. Cheers mate and as always love the videos

Awesome video, and the TVC Jabba playset looks great. They seem to have sorted the paint issue out under his chin, as some had some pretty prominent paint going on. How cool would it have been if Hadbro put a carded Oola figure in with this set......wishfull thinking for sure.

This is a great set. I also use the Jabba that came with the Jabba's Rancor Pit. I use the bigger frog that came with the deluxe Jabba on the card that was released in the early 2000's. I also like using the plastic pillows that came with the Dark Times Jabba. So it's a lot of fun to combine all these items together. Great review!

Thanks for the review. I am impressed with this set too. When first announced I was just going to stick with the Shadows of the Darkside set from 2010. But I’m glad I upgraded. I much prefer this new one. It’s expensive but it is nice. The new Dias and accessories are great.

The new Jabba definitely looks good as a figure but as far as demanding attention in the palace scene I still like the original 1983 Jabba. He may not be as detailed and quite a bit bigger but I still like him best for display. Of course I have 14 different Jabba's, and my favorite is the original.

Glad you are excited for the set OOK. Unfortunately for me in New Zealand I couldn't get one as there was no retail channel open for me to buy one. I will have to get one in the secondary market and pay a fortune for it too. I hate how Hasbro is inconsistent with how they release their products.

Finally, I'm all set with Jabba!! Just need a few more 3 or 4 packs of his denizens. Of which includes Laudica, Jess, Ishi Tib, the guy that gets pushed down the stairs, modern versions of the special edition dancers, the Max Rebo band, the dog, the spider, the slug & several other guards. Perhaps several of the casual guests on the barge too.

Dark Times Jabba is still the better headsculpt- this 'new' one looks like he has a waist like a centaur or something, not a slug with a head. I need to find a way of combining the head of that one and the body of this new one.

The 8D8 cardback has the paint on his left chest, but the figure has the paint on the right? The cardback photo is mirrored?

This new set is my only Jedi Jabba and I'm so happy to have it..( still kicking myself for not getting the full throne room)..the Salacious Crumb figure Is THE best hands down...the sculpt is sharp and to scale and the paintwork is faultless..just trying to find a way for those Ewok pelts to droop over the dias..nice to see the comparisons and yes bring out a new EV-9D9 for my IB3D cantina..cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻 SI FI

Is it me or is jabba kinda small/ short? I remember him being taller than humans.

I have to say one of the thiings about this version of Jabba that erks me is the eyes. The eyes have slits down the middle, and he is supposed to have pupils. This isn't accurate to the source material. Just a tiny thing like that triggers me! lol I just can't buy it because of that detail!
