Tom and Ben talked about it on Tom's channel. They said they already recorded some Warhammer Fantasy, but it's really hard to make it look fun and interesting.

Plus, with the games being 3 hours long, they would have to cut a lot of the chaff out of it to keep it being interesting. Doesn't work in video format.

If it were exiting vid material they probably wouldn't have "forgotten" for half a year.

atleast firestorm/star wars armada have less models and that to have to keep track of, might make it easier to watch.

The good guys in SW never really had good starship design. The Old Republic had shit design, the Rebel Alliance had shit design, the only time they had good design was the Republic in the Clone Wars era, when they were basically using a variation of the Empire designs. The only good thing the good guys have ever had in star wars is the fighters: the X-Wings, A-Wings, V-Wings, and all the rebels' "-wings", and the Republic fighters during the Clone Wars, like the ARC-170, which remains the best fighter design in any IP ever, imo And yes, I just used this to make a block of test about starship design in star wars that very few people will read or care about. bite me.

you say variation of empire designs, but wouldn't the empire be using variations of republic designs which means they did originally create good stuff at one point

Marco G. Verbruggen excuse you the old republic ships were great especially the KotOR ones. Like the Hammerhead Cruiser was so cool they remade it as a Corvette in the new canon

+Trembling Wheat well, the design for the empire was created before the design for the republic irl, and the republic was meant to look like the empire. so it depends on whether you're talking about in-universe or irl

the Hammerhead was about the only good one though, specifically because it was quite aesthetically different from everything else the republic had at the time.
