Lovely work! I've still got my kit in its box as I'm still building up to doing this one and I've got loads of 1/12 custom figures to finish first, but it's great to see your process!
Absolutely amazing. Just got hold of one of these and I’m torn on whether to use the decals for the panels or paint them? I’m a a new modeller so will make time for lots of practice before I attempt the actual model. Is it easier to paint the model in broken sections or build it all then paint it? Any help for a nervous beginner welcome 👍🏻
How did ILM get the splotches at the top of their streaks? If you mask 2-3 sides to form thin triangle you don't get them. I almost think it is a second step.
I have yet to build & paint my first Millennium Falcon. This is profoundly inspiring. Thank you for going to the trouble of filming this. Question if you don't mind: is it better to buy the Archive-X Falcon paint set, or, if one happens to have a stack of models on the shelf, perhaps going in for the entire Archive-X bundle (42 bottles) is the better way?
