I wanted a canon explanation on how the remnants of the Empire became the First Order and how they were able to get the resources to build their enormous star destroyers and StarKiller Base itself. Moreover, how did they access new technology (Starkiller's laser works using some sort of sub-hyperspace matter; also don't forget what they were able to accomplish in Last Jedi) and let alone know enough about the Unknown Regions to build a base there? Even if there already was a novel or book explaining how this happened (I actually haven't read any of the canon novels), I kinda wanted to see this explained in this campaign, instead of a "30 years later" thing :P

In the comics the star destroyer was already highly damaged with a battle against other capital ships and he’s saying “Piet,you fool.”because of that.

Of these were the marines they would kill all of them with their bare hands just like in the past when they faced a whole army of B2 super battle droids with only their fists and won.

Mark Grehan read aftermath. They stayed on Jakku for 6 torturous months listening to a madman (Rax) who wanted his men to brake so he could sort out the competent from the weak. The empire was turned into a raider militia robbing raping and pillaging the world for food and water. He didn’t betray the empire but the months on the planet broke him breaking his faith in the empire.

Joey Kevorkian Thanks for the reply but the problem is still the same in a lot of the books the Empire is pure evil and those working for it are usually incompetent unaware fools. Those who are not realize the error of their ways and become super ninja Rebels. It would be nice just to see a couple of times characters believing that the Empire brought peace and order and fought the Rebels on that basis instead of greed and hate. The overall story doesn't have to change but it would be normal Empire guy fight, win a few battles and just cope with the aftermath as opposed to them going"Ah its evil and I'm having a major change of heart and so I'm going to join the Rebellion and shoot my old comrades instead"

Emperor last commands was to Rax. If the Empire can't protect it's Emperor they must fall with it. He wanted to destroy the whole Imperial and Rebel fleet by blowing up Jakku and with the loyal Remnant escape to the Unknown Regions wich Thrawn mapped for them, but Sloane had enough and shot him, Rax last words was to give her the coordinates to escape. There already was waiting Imperials and the Eclipse. The remaining imperials captured and made peace with the New Republic meanwhile the First Order was made.

Christopher Bloom it's because of the magnetic locks, the fuel pipes where connected to the Star destroyers via large metal connectors, these had to be secured to the star destroyers refuelling port using strong magnetic locks, these would stay attached to the star destroyer until someone hit the release, and they didn't release the star destroyers because they thought that a cloud car wasn't a huge threat.

Say whaa? On a 1v 1 the MC80 (depends which variant though) would get destroyed by an ISD II, since thous damn things are BUILT for capital ship vs capital ship engagements. ISDII a true battleships, they're so much battleship thay lack anti-fighter capability. They are ALL big guns. Plus they probably gave full power to the main guns.

why the hell did the isd broadside it though? They are literally built to fire all guns forward.

The MC ships were made to carry those skilled rebel pilots into battle, most of the time the MC80s and MC ships were buffers for the ISD and tie fighter while the rebel starfighters disabled the ISD.

I know right. Abandoning her ideals so easily and wanting so eagerly to join the rebellion (Which to the imperials IS a terrorist organization she has spent all those years fighting against) just seemed so forced.
