Iden Versio and Inferno Squad were loyal to the Empire. They still served despite the Empire creating the two Death Stars with the promise to use the two superweapons against the Rebels. However, seeing the Empire attack its own loyal citizens via Operation Cinder was the last straw.

Vasquez I feel the same. But I think it is a mercy killing. I don't trust Disney with the concept of the "Imperial Remenant". At least with this 'new order" if it fails with the fans there is no fallout on the classic.

I enjoyed this mission, I like seeing from an imperial perspective of seeing the empire they served for years do something heinous and would be willing to do something to stop them. Iden is a soldier that follows orders but she knows when to draw the line

The Empire attacked her homeworld with intentions to destroy its population and render it uninhabitable despite the fact that the people there were loyal and many of them (including her) had willingly served in the Imperial armed forces. If that’s not betrayal, then you tell me what is. She did nothing to them that they had not done to her people first.

If you want to have fun playing a really despicable villain I would suggest Tyranny. You are basically bronze-age Darth Vader enforcing your overlord's draconian laws and crushing a rebellion. How do you go about it is up to you however...

Nefarias Bredd Good choice! I really enjoyed playing that game. If you want to play someone evil in a star wars game try playing as a sith in Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2. It's really fun. You can do some messed up things and it also changes your appearance quite a lot.

it a shame i remember a comic book about a friend of luke who was a officier in the empire and when he saw what is wrong with the empire he didn't betray the empire but try to be promote and have power to change thing for the greater good. It was what i was hoping in this campaign

Roan Fel's Empire in the Legacy comics was a more benevolent one, that was willing to work with the Alliance and actually fought a Sith-Alligned imperial faction. Those were some really good stories and I loved Fel's Imperial Knights, they were a really cool addition to the EU.

Chris Green I'm late to the party but they promised an empire perspective, and that's barely portrayed. She betrays the empire in what, 3 missions? And these guys are special forces, the most loyal to the empire. This makes no sense, and this is coming from someone who played the campaign.
