Also they shouldn't heal as fast with that ability. Too strong! I was a Droidika in close range with a commando, we both had out middle ability activated and he left without a scratch

@@davidsegovia7560 nah mate they can literally tank an AAT middle abilty main canon shot point blank 3 times in a row if they keep shooting at you, and can basically 2 shot em with the AA attachment. Not even a hero can do that, they need to fix the armor and nerf the AA so it does just a bit more, if not the same damage, as the ion shot missile from heavy to vehicles

When they made it so you have to shoot the reactor to win the separatists always had the advantage. You can shoot the clones reactor from anywhere and hide behind them while the separtist ship has basically a huge chokepoint. The separatists would always win capital supremacy. Then I don't know what happened but the republic would almost always win the ground phase but get stuck on the ship phase while the clankas always won the ship phase but it was a struggle on the ground. Then clone commandos came out and now clones win constantly.
@@davidsegovia7560 it's not about skill if the game isn't balanced. If someone plays a game where teams alternate sides & the same side wins every time, then it's means the game is unbalanced. Also before you call me a skilless hack then know I can consistantly kill full health enemy hero's as a commando

Yep just won a game with clone commando in supremacy and we were losing until me and a few others broke out the clone commando and then we smacked ass never seen so many kills under my belt in one game before
@@AnimeGamer501st yeah it'd be fine if the SBDs or Droidekas could compete but it's completely a slaughter. I don't want a huge nerf because these guys are awesome to play, but there definitely needs to be some sort of change just for balancing.
also you gotta make sure u hit all 3 vibro blade hits so they fall on ground then you just shoot them by time they get back up they will either be dead or your vibro blades will have recharged so you can just finish them off with that

Nah they just need a small reduction to the active time since the middle ability length star cards exists and everyone uses it. the damage reduction because it's way too powerful, they can win a 1v1 against a full health Sith. And remove the health on hit! They already have a 90% damage reduction which is already unbalanced and the health on kill star card. I feel like the other abilities are fine and balanced

1000 battle points feels extremely generous for how good these guys are imo. I love the commando battle droid to death, and when I’m playing as the Commando droid, I find that 1v1ing these guys is annoying asf, more than half the time I find myself using my vibra sword 6 or so times just to close out the kill cause these guys are absolute tanks and their blaster is pretty damn good. I’m not begging for nerfs or anything, but the unit is very very strong imo, especially at how cheap they are.
Jordon Roy their blasters run out too quickly and doesn’t do enough damage the only reason it doesn’t feel that way on the receiving end is that most of the time people have the battle focus ability active which makes them tanks.
it does damage now, I am not sure exactly how much, but it does some damage. also, I can't even say how many times I have killed heroes with the repulser ability just because I used the rockets, then shot them, then pushed them down, and continued to shoot them. of course there is still a small chance that they survived all of that, and if they did survive then another player would come along and help me shoot them until they die.
Still sad that they chose a repulser blast over the DC-17m Sniper Rifle configuration. The DC-17m was iconic because it could do basically anything, but you can see why they didn’t do it too I guess
They are great if you know how to run them. At first I was beyond pissed I thought they made them too weak but after some tests I noticed it's about timing otherwise keep all commandos close together in which case if they activate their starcards in unison they are extremely effective. Just remember it's about timing
You literally don't need any of that. Clone commandos are hella easy to use and can 1v1 even heroes, let alone absolutely destroy any other unit in the game
Did anyone notice that the light side is absolutely broken in GA/ CS on clone wars maps? They have broken TX-tanks, broken clone commandos that can insta kill tanks, a BUNCH of knockdowns of heroes like Luke and Anakin, even more health buffs( Finn/Yoda/ Leia/ Clone commando) and double mindtrick of Rey and Obi , which means immediate death for heroes. The light side is so noob friendly and broken it’s insane, I don’t care about new shiny maps like Felucia, the gameplay is absolutely ruined! And those guys are only 1000bp, it drives me crazy

That battle focused must just be bugged in arcade... I've been smoked more than a couple times by a SBD or CC at close range while it's been active and I've been blasting away at them
The only fixes I think the clone commando needs are the 50% DMG reduction (which is obvious) and the damage output from the anti-tank launcher, could lower the amount of commandos available too?
Fixing the middle ability should balance it out nothing like all 20 players rushing a hallway with 50 percent damage reduction from the commandos.......i felt bad for the droids
In my experience yes, CC's are annoying at times but I've been able to beat them with super battles and commando droids. Especially the later. The knockdown with the vibrosword is an easy kill against them.
I’m glad they added the Clone Commando! The droids were very over powered in my opinion. I like that they are trying to even the playing field! I love this game!
I think the clone commando is necessary but he needs a major nerf so he is as good as a droidika. Right now he's better then most heros. I mean I consistently can kill heroes as him & he cost only 1000 points & you can have a lot on your team. But yeah if he gets nerf so he's a droidika counterpart then I think the game will be pretty balanced
@@palemoogle3049 I think the Commando should be as good as the BX Commando as the Wookie is no where near as good as the B2 or the Droideka. Right now the CIS have: BX Commando, B2 Droid, and Droideka which are better than the ARC Trooper and Wookie. Once the Clone Commandos go back down to 25% Damage Reduction instead of 50% I think it'll be fine, they'll still be worse than BX Commando's in close range, but oh well. Right now I can reliably kill Clone Commandos with a BX Commando droid 4/5 times for only 1000 more points even with the 50% damage reduction and 5/5 times kill the Wookie. If they nerf the Commandos past bug fixes, then the BX needs to be nerfed or the ARC needs to be buffed, but the BX is by far the best non-bugged reinforcement in the game.

Why do people think the clone commando is OP? He seems pretty balanced to me, hes really good up close, slow HP regen times, his push ability doesnt work most of the time, and his anti tank attachment takes around 2 seconds to load each shot.
im not sure if ive been playing this game too much or im just having bad luck but today ive been absolute shit at this game im getting hit around corners with force abilities nade spammed i even saw blaster bolts clearly shoot past me instead of hitting me but i was still getting hit and the more and more i play the more i notice how saber users spam the shit out of attack button and force abilities can anyone explain to me how i avoid these situations pls
I can’t explain the situation to you. I’ve had my fair share of bad luck as well. At first it started in HVV I would be paired with a somewhat competent team. Nowadays I get paired with such incompetent teams and almost all my matchs on HVV are loses. Next it started to bleed into the game modes like GA and CS. In my opinion (This May or May not be the answer.) but I think it’s a severe balance issue of teams regardless if you’re on the light side or dark side. Glad someone else had an issue like mine. Dice needs to rework the team balance issue.
I'd say the battle focus is broken, but the clone wars fanboy in me is just whispering embrace it while dangling some idealized repubic commando gameplay in the back of my head
I love the commandos I was kinda hoping they replaced the Wookiee. And my only complaint is the ammo recharge and maybe slight nerf with time to switch to grandes. Also it always funny to push villain away as they try to swing at you or you and maul go flying as powers over lock.
You know I'm really happy that Commando made it in to the game, but making them enforcers is such a huge disservice. I know that they used Arc Troopers for infiltrators because they already had the leftover models from development but if there is a Battlefront III, they need to do it right. Make the Commando the infiltrator, have the left star card be the grenade launcher attachment, the right being a sniper attachment, and the center being a helmet scanner. The Arc Trooper should be the enforcer, replace the scanner with damage reduction aoe buff, and replace the right star card to switch from 1 pistol, to dual. So you either fire from a single D-17 almost like a buffed officer, or you can switch to duel for increased rof but with less accuracy.
I hope to god they don’t patch Battle focus cuz this is literally the only Trooper that can take on Heroes, normally you’d get slaughtered on your own and need like 5-10+ ppl to kill a single hero and it’s annoying asf and rn there is at least 1 Trooper that can go toe to toe with hero’s and stand a somewhat chance of surviving, if you activate it to late and it recharges your dead either way but seriously this is the only class that can go 1 on 1 with a hero and it feels so fucking good.
Clone commandos are kinda nostalgic for me...playing him makes me feel like I'm back in 2010 playing Halo, 30 shots in the clip and all...well yes I know it's 32 in halo but close enough🤣 possibly my favourite reinforcement...
Commandos are so strong. There should be a how to counter them. I don't like being an officer, but I have to be them nonstop cause they have the Disruption card which overheats the enemies blasters. So you use that against commandos, they can't heal if they can't shoot!
1. Enforcer Training on PS4 is badly glitched. You don't get half the health back you should, it's horrible. Go with the health regen on PS4. If they fix it, go with enforcer training 2. In GA unless it's a small map, always, I repeat always have the grenade launcher ready. It's the best middle distance nonhero weapon easy. Once you get good with aiming it, which is pretty easy, pretty much everyone dies if not by the first, shot by the second. They can't use cover, they just die. 3. The gun really is only good ultra close range. It's decent at close range around 20 meters or 20 yards after that it just sucks. 4. The repulse is good against massive groups in halls, you roll in and use it. Then go to you got it, grenade,, grenade, grenade. It's also a good last ditch weapon, your gun over heats, you got a guy on you, repulse then melee. Same with heroes. At first I thought it would be more useful, then I thought it sucked, then I realized it's actually pretty good. It's basically luke's force push minus the damage. It takes about .5 second though for it to kick it. 5. Melee attacks with this thing are brutal. 2 stabs and it's over. 6. How to beat these things is pretty easy. Avoid close range, aim for the head because they are slow, wear them down because they heal slow and the damage reduction will run out. Without the damage reduction most players are just giant slow moving targets and use the gun for ranges too long. The best unit against it is the superbattle droid. Assuming you take advantage of the droids speed and are constantly moving you'll win most games. Yeah right now they are op. 25% damage reduction and 10% health get back on damage would be pretty set. I'd do 10% for you then like 5% for the rest of the team. Or 20 health per kill against standard class, 35 for reinforcements and 70 for heroes.
It’s kinda annoying when I’m shooting down the halls in the Venator or dreadnought, but none of the clones are dying because 4 clone commandos and 13 officers are buffing and fortifying everybody. Especially the heroes....
IMO I just hope that dice does not over nerf them. Or nerf something that does not need the nerf. Yeah their middle ability is far too OP and their rockets could use a tiny nerf in terms of blast radius, but the blaster they use should not be touched, the amount of BP they go for needs a rework if they are not gonna nerf the two said abilities above, then there should be a restriction of how many can be deployed at once. I mean once you get near half the team with Clone Commandos the light side will be hella op and dominate the game mode. (Mainly CS and the few GA maps that are set in the clone wars era.)
They need a buff/nerf - Buff: Better damage range and bigger aoe and less activation time on the mini force push, Nerf: less damage resistance on middle ability
I honestly don't know why Droid and Clone commandos weren't released at the same time, and different prices, they should have been there own class tbh. And btw a good patch would be putting the battle focus to 25%, but increasing its radius because for me it's too small
Clone commandos are supposed to be able to take our large amount of Droid forces and a squad of them are supposed to be able to do things that would take an entire invasion force
I love the Clone Commandos! My first game of capital supremacy after testing them out in arcade I got 4 hero kills by myself. Imagine sending a picture of the top 5 screen in 2019 with clone commandos, droidekas, commando droids, and arc troopers to someone in 2017 when battlefront 2 launched. This game has come an insane way from when it launched, and I hope that the future of battlefront 2 is just as bright!

Shame they stopped development at that point, it could have further cemented itself as one of the best star wars games in history. Surprisingly still alive and doing well in terms of player count, at least on PS4/5 and PC. Wish I had PC so I could get the community mods, those are awesome.
My first match of this update was on kashyyyk as separatists. It was like Vietnam man There I was in the thick greenery, me & my ally both top players who hopped in tanks. He was imfront when suddenly my buddy out front got instantly exploded by 2 commandos hiding in the tall grass! I turned as quick as I could & used both my rockets & duel firing & yet they stood there just continuing launching their grenades. I was lucky to kill them both but they got me as well... Anyways these guys are so OP! On my first use as one I killed a level +40 duku & it's i only died because of his squad members😂😂😋
i dont know if its a string of bad luck..but sense the commando update every match i been not on the republic..ive lost on a side note the only real issue i had with his video was he was specking really quitly ..like he was doing this in a liberey or something i had to jack the valume way up
Apart from the bug they sound just fine/quite balanced. And it only proves how the casual crowd alwasy bitch about stuff before understanding it fully. People have been screaming "OOOOPPPPP" over last days, when you switch sides though they cant handle themselves as those oh so overpowered commandos. Had a match on Kamino, was very one sided for sure, people cried the commandos are op, then the sides switched and they all had their overpowered Commandos, still the match remained one sided and not in their favor :D
Just wanted to put this out there. My brother-in-law and I, on two different PS4s, have seen a glitch that shows a New Hope Luke skin where the clone commando should be on the home screen. Looks like we're getting a new Luke skin soon?
Idk what any of y'all are on about, maybe you're on PC where there's no weapon spread, but I've done nothing but lose on the Clone side in CS. The only time I haven't is when I get Geonosis and Nabbo, and the Jet-Troopers aren't taken up.
