In today's episode of How to Not Suck at Star Wars Battlefront 2, we cover Darth Vader yet again. The version of Darth Vader we have in Star Wars Battlefront 2 is very different from the Darth Vader of Battlefront 2 at launch. Today, I cover the very best strategies and setup for Darth Vader in Star Wars Battlefront II as we wait for the Clone Wars DLC. The Clone Wars DLC is coming to Battlefront 2 this fall, and I couldn’t be more excited!
The gameplay is of Star Wars Battlefront II, with some Heroes vs Villains, Strike and more! We'll be playing with many different heroes in Battlefront 2 in preparation for the Clone Wars DLC, which brings us General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker and Geonosis.

Manny Cacho You obviously have never played against a good Yoda than. When I play as Yoda, I have no trouble taking out any lightsaber hero as long as I'm not facing more than 1. Most blaster heroes are easy too.

A tip which I’ve found very useful is to activate focused rage while doing a jump strike. You won’t have to go through the standard animation at all.

I like the Lightsaber throw “distance increase” card is good, because it has a deceptively long range and you can snipe people who think you can’t reach them, but your lightsaber can

This is how I would fix the stamina issue don't make saber swings count as stamina as that's the main problem I think and this how I think it should be done if they are doing a minor fix vs a huge overhaul fix.

One thing about Lando if you are playing Vader is that if you jump at the right time when the disabler is down, the slow falling speed makes it difficult for a Lando player to properly capitalize as Vader will be stunned in the air and can outlast the duration.

If you press rb lb and rt together you can strike and activate focused rage at the same time circumventing the exposed start up animation

Gosh I almost forgot about the old HvV setup with targets. I hated that so much. Everyone just ran away the whole time, and having a boba being the target was basically a guaranteed loss for the heros.

I admit I am one of those players who likes force choke. When I think of Vader, that’s the one ability I associate with him. I loved the part in the Battlefront 2015 gameplay trailer where a rebel gets choked, you turn around only to see Vader right behind you.

If you strike and use furious resilience at the same time it cancels the furious resilience animation while giving you an extra strike. It's great in 1v1's.

Love your work Quinn. How about a How To Not Suck video for people that have been playing a while - maybe a quick overview of your fave star cards for each class, favourite tricks and exploits for some GA maps, that type of thing. e.g. favourite chokepoints; thoughts on using spaceships on GA etc. Mention it's for old timers, don't get caught up justifying or explaining yourself and just let loose.

I really disagree with star cards, that bonus health card is not nearly as good in galactic assault as the one that reduces the stamina cost of blaster deflection. Vader NEVER needs that extra health star card. he already has 800 and can raise that with focused rage.

If you turn off your lightsaber you'll see your stamina circle turn blue and it cools down significantly faster. I like to use this feature to block for a substantial amount of time by intermittently switching between blocking and dashing about with my lightsaber off.

When playing as Vader on Heroes Vs Villains I usually engage the enemy team by first force choking the entire enemy team and while they are in the midst of the choke I then thrown my saber into them. Once they fall to the ground I activate focused rage and then proceed to mop up what's left of them. So my star cards are focused around my health, force choke and saber throw

It might be a little late but when I was playing Endor in Hvv I was in a 1v4 situation. My team was winning though, I was surrounded but luckily I was playing darth Vader. I used my abilities carefully and I literally destroyed the entire enemy team. And they were at full health and was quite skilled.
