(Off in the distance) Traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrr! FN-2199 Runs up to the two defectors as fast as he can.
Imperial Patriot The thing is, Starkiller/Galen Marek chose his path, as Vader said “Your destiny is now your own.” Galen was basically ordered to deflect from the Empire, he never really changed sides until the last level on the Death Star. Also in TFU2, Starkiller defected because of his memories which caused him to basically become what his template was.
Apparently they needed to be reminded by Disney that the empire is actually evil and that you either join the hope loving rebellion or you’re a evil person.
To be honest, she didn’t have a choice. Her home planet was getting destroyed, her own father, who also lived there, though it was okay for the future of the empire, causing her to question it and if she’s fighting on the right side.
She very much did have a choice. Nash Windrider, an Imperial officer on the Death Star, witnessed his homeworld of Alderaan get blown to pieces, which also killed his entire family, yet he stayed loyal to the Empire. Even after Jakku, he joining Grand Moff Randd's forces for a renewed offensive against the New Republic. Iden's situation? Her homeworld got a little stormy and her father was still alive. I will say that Operation: Cinder was probably the most idiotic thing about the new SW canon. I get it, Palpatine was a bad guy, he didn't want anyone to take over his Empire if he died cause he was a greedy Sith Lord. But did the Imperial High Command honestly think to themselves "Well, the Emperor is dead. Time to execute a plan which will end in all our deaths and destroy everything we've spent two decades building, even though the Emperor isn't around to make sure we actually do it." And yeah, I know Gallius Rax was technically manipulating a lot of individuals in the Empire by making them think Operation: Cinder was a good thing. At least he didn't fool Sloane, and she thankfully wasted that son of a bitch and founded the First Order to challenge the New Republic. What would've been a great campaign idea would be for Iden and Del to join some Imperial splinter faction that was opposed to Cinder, possibly led by Sloane, that would fight Rax's Imperial faction and the New Republic. Then, after defeating Rax's remnant, Sloane's remnant retreat to the Unknown Regions and re-build themselves into the First Order, with Iden and Del serving as senior officers. Honestly, I might just start an online petition for EA/DICE to release an alternate, actual pro-Imperial campaign for Battlefront 2.
@@ThespianPrince13 Being a rebel that fights against an oppressive regime is not terrorism Read some history on ex commie east eurpean countries or latin america. Those are rebels against an oppressive regime.
before this game launched i said to myself: "i wont buy it... but i just hope that the protagonist doesn't change sides and people get to play as the empire for once". Well... EA has done it again.
I still call BS on this. I've ben wanting an FPS to play as the empire for aaggeeesss. But nooooooo we ONCE AGAIN play as the rebellion. AGAIN!!! How many games is that? Too many.
Alexandru Tonita Yeah. Fucking copout. The whole build up to BF2 was being the empire and building the first order. Instead they copout by the third mission
