+BattlefrontUpdates Should've included dodge roll on Han Solo 8) altough I don't think it's very useful it's pretty cool, haven't used it myself but seen it.
This wasn't in battlefront when it first came out. It's a feature that the previous battlefront had but no this one. The community wanted change lol we are the people, so they added it into the game.
just a few more HERO/VILLAIN tips for you guys: -you can block a force choke and saber throw as luke -luke's saber rush does only around 2 dmg to heroes, but is good for getting behind them -you can block a force push as vader -you CANNOT block leia's trooper bane, han's lucky shot or boba's rocket (not entirely sure about chain lightning) -another tip that the game directly gives you but is still very useful is locking on to your target as luke or vader (makes sure you always have eyes on who you're fighting) -if you're a lightsaber wielding hero, blocking another hero's lightsaber attack will momentarily stun them, and you should attack immediately after a block -as vader, boba, and the emperor, it's generally a good idea o keep your dstance (vader and palp is typically med range, boba:long) -luke is close range and use saber rus to close the gap, han is med rage, leia is long and defensive -heavy strike is also very effective for breaking an opposing lightsaber wielder's guard (and palpatine). it stuns them for a good bit allowing you time to get in about 2/3 attacks. additionally, if you catch the person off guard, it does a very generous amount of damage to those not blocking. dont neglect it! this is just from my experience from playing. if any of this helped you out, thumb it up so others can see!
To leave the AT-ST you can tap the activate button at any time (E for pc, square for PS4, X for Xb1), but the AT-ST is destroyed when you do. Also, you can leave ships and the AT-AT by holding down the activate button. P.D.: you can't leave ships in Fighter Squadron mode
Another trick (which isn't really helpful) is that you can roll with Han Solo and Leia. You have to strafe sideways and hold the crouch button and they will do a roll.

The tip about cancelling the pulse rifle was very handy indeed. No idea how many shots I've wasted, when someone's been on top of the sand crawler, then ducked down as I was about to shoot them.
Great Video! I'm going to play the game right now to try this new stuff! I can't understand the hate against the game, I like it very much, I'll play an hour to relax and then cleared my mind for something else. Exactly what I expected :)
Battlefront is not a bad game, but it is an disappointment to the fans of the old battlefront games. Dice and EA should not have used the name "battlefront" in their game, because the expectations the old fans had were then about a new battlefront, which this game is not. But it is a good Star Wars shooter game. I would buy it myself but I think I will wait for the price to drop.

2017 looking to get into the game after all the content is finally out and this is my 1st video !!! That i watch to get a better idea of how the game works.. nice job!
I knew all of these except using emotes can tell the AI what to do in the Missions mode. The Stormtrooper animation you used in between each tip doesn't look good imo, it should be a clean white helmet and not the 3D "metal" effect it has.
Fenne Gerets I use both, i played battlefront 2 and it was really fun to play, after playing a lot of first person shooters it got weird being in third person
Also a pretty useful tip is throwing your vehicle's shield up right before collision with a Tie Fighter for example to take no damage and they end up dying. It is kind of broken if you ask me, but doesn't mean I don't use it lol.
Great video, learned some things even after hundreds of hours on this game! A couple of tips of my own: You can melee to stop charging instead of switching weapons - The distance you can activate uplinks from is very far. Extremely useful for last uplink on Jundland Wastes in the three way hallway as you don't even need to walk in the middle to activate it.

I imagine many of you have seen your enemies make use of the combat roll, if you are having trouble making use of this nifty trick simply double tap the crouch button and move your character left or right.
yeah i play battlefront a lot and i think i got most of this down but there are a few things you covered that i didnt know. awesome video, keep up the good work :) the force is certainly strong with you
The force choke might also be the one thing you need to finish off an opposing hero. I nearly died against Luke but force choke also does a lot more damage than you might think, even against heroes.
I remember watching this because I was 2-17 (kd) player 4 years ago and now I am watching it again to appreciate. I have like a 1.7 kd now and always at the top

I love how EA and DICE decided to make 3rd person view a lot more beneficial. That's one of the many reasons why I continue to play. Despite the lag, the mechanics are awesome. I know, this is a late comment but just sharing my 2 cents.
Excelleny video man! When I thought I knew every possible tip for this game I came acroos this and it really helps! And oh man, that power blaster by the uplink stations is a dirty trick lol
About "spamming Vader's choke". Using choke will leave you defenseless and harmless for a few seconds, meaning that Vader will do the choke animation, during which you can neither harm your enemies, nor defend yourself from incoming attacks.Ergo hint: don't spam it whilst facing multiple enemies.Otherwise, great video, even for an experienced player like me ;)
helpful i'm not a new player anymore above average this helps me a ton and i do that tip i'm still only a second while firing mostly i move harder to lock on moving targets thanks for this
This video is really awesome, I'm going to try the focus fire using the CA-87. Also on Endor during modes such as walker assault, you can jumpack onto the top platform on the black tower thing in the first stage. If you are an imperial you head left (away from the water) to the elevated stage next to this tower. Once there aim for the corner closest to you, and hold your jump pack and the jump button at the same time for extra height. You can easily defend the uplink from up there using a pulse cannon/sniper.
I have a tip if you double tap B on X -Box One while moving left or right you role to the side so people may know this but i've seen a guy dodge my shots with it
Another way to stop your pulse cannon charge up is doing your melee attack and during the melee attack realease your finger from the charge up button! Personally I think the switching back to the other weapon is easier though.
