5 planets!? Is that it! God I expected a few more than that. I hope the maps for the planets are large then because if not it'll just be a case of going to and from the same places
I'm sorry but integrity goes out the window when corporations provide the dine and wine service. I hope that in the future you declined such offers so we can actually have an honest opinion.
I think there’s a problem with how you are framing this. Being flown out to LA and meet a bunch of fun people is going to impact your perception of the game (and Ubisoft) way more than reading a few opinion about it online. Ubisoft know it, that’s why they did it. It’s a marketing campaign and I think it’s hugely effective. It’s entirely possible that your opinion would have been the same if you hadn’t been there, but you can’t really make the argument that your views are unbiased when the gameplay session was padded by a VIP experience.
I can’t imagine how difficult it could be to just integrate all the DLC maps within the standard playlists. They literally did all that work just to have the playlists separated, completely empty, and literally unplayable offline and online until the end of time. It really is one of the biggest waste of digital assets and labor in gaming history.
So there’s no freedom to play as you like to play? That’s not open world, that’s linear. Don’t tell me how to play, just give me the tools & let me play as I want. Those GTA style pass or fail missions are too linear & not fun so Star Wars Outlaws is a skip for me. z ubisoft tried but they failed in every way here.
One thing I’m curious about is if the combat isn’t suppose to make you feel like a one man army, then if we see a force user, it’ll be incredible to witness. A lot of times in Star Wars, the Jedi are so OP and just mow down hordes of enemies. In this, that may not be the case so if we get to glimpse a force user, it’ll be incredible.
I think everything exept facial animations look realy good. Its a ubisoft game so we al know what to expect. Me my self are not that worn out of the ubisoft openword formula (because I dont realy play those games, latest Ub game i payed were WD2 in 2016) so i probeby like it for what it is. But for someone that play every AC game or Farcry this will be more of the same and probeby suck
Sweet Baby threw up on her face. If they are going to have inclusion, then make it a choice. I don't want to play as her. I see only lesbian inclusion. Not even an attractive character. Leia was strong and beautiful. She's hard to look even on the poster. Too much of a dirty pallet. Horrible hair. Anyways i don't think my comment is gonna matter. Thats a big 🔴PASS🔴
Yeah I really feel like this game doesn't have much ways of actualization. By that I mean you're heavily limited to how the game was designed and intended to be played. But I feel like ubisoft open world games aren't quite the rpgs most of us are fond of. It's always a more focused, on rails experience with an already established character and a semi-linear story. There's no deeper looting elements like in Cyberpunk or other Bethesda titles, no variety of weapons, gear and other miscellaneous stuff you can consume or wear or use. No character creation or special skill trees... So you can't self-actualize; being whoever you want to be in the Star Wars universe isn't an option. The world building is amazing, but outside of quests the world just seems empty and unlived in. Like there's nothing to do or achieve outside of quests. Doesn't seem rewarding or pique my curiosity... I guess the good side is exploration, but that clearly isn't intrinsically motivating, because random events generally aren't quite interesting after the second time. It's wasted potential for me and that's why I'm probably not going to buy this game. It's simply not for me. I was looking forward to a more free-form rpg... Now if it were to be more like the witcher 3, I'd be happy to play since that game gives you more mobility in terms of gear, skills, appearance ect. But as of now, it just doesn't seem like that's the case, which is a shame...
@chaz9808 how do you know? Have you played it? If so, for how long? I personally have only seen other ppl play online so I really don't know yet especially since no reviews are out.
You and Ecks posted videos just hours apart, but I have to say, I trust you hugely more than Ecks when it comes to anything related to Star Wars. Thanks for doing what you do, man.
But I'm a black MAN. I don't have any fantasies of being a white woman. Open world immersive games should always have a character creator for the player character. So players can make their character whichever of the two genders they want and whatever race they want. Being a scoundrel in the underbelly of the state wars universe actually sounds pretty cool, but being forced to play as a woman and having NPCs refer to ME as "she" and "her" will kill any immersion for me.
A valid opinion... I too was hoping for more rpg elements and the ability to actually create a character. It's simply the easiest way of gathering a larger pool of players when they get to be whoever they want in the universe. But sadly Ubisoft open world games are only open world story games... They're not rpg games which sucks
@@Elamankokemuksenasiantuntija but actually they are RPGs. You are playing the role of a Star wars outlaw in an open world. And they apparently have levels and skill points to allocate as well
@@JJLYKES The GTA and Red Dead Redemption games don't let players create their own protagonist but they're both widely praised and very successful. My biggest gripe about this character's design is her hair. What were they thinking??
I mean, hating is different from having constructive critisism. But having something constructive to say is as justified as praysal of something. It should be encouraged even. Now I don't agree with the sentement lots of people have, but honestly they do have a point. Because if we as consumers just take whatever and don't demand, we're left off with garbage that very few is happy with. We start to forget that there used to be better things out there as great products become a distant memory. It's important for every consumer to tell devs that WHAT they actually WANT. In the end of the day it's real currency that's moving in the transactions. And one more thing: not everyone likes the same thing and that's why providers can't possibly pander to every demographic. If they do, they end up with a product no one truly asked for and is happy with... It's just bad business. They must make sacrifices. Some people will like this game, some won't. That's reality
Can u images u chose to go with the pikes and crimson dawn and u run into old clone commandos working for the pikes and darth mauls mandolorean commandos
I'm gonna pass on this as the gameplay is not for my taste, but I'm mostly disappointed with the visuals, it's 2024 dammit and this looks worse than Battlefront II 2017
It just exports really bad when rendering to RU-vid, most people have said that it looks better when you're actually playing it than the rendered version you see on RU-vid, also keep in mind that comparing battlefront to an open world game is like apples to oranges one is a linear fps game the other is an optn world action adventure with alot going on in the background that has to render alot more at once . Shooters always look waaay better than open world games. And honestly Avatar was a gorgeous game which also didn't render well in uploads
