I found that when ever I moved the pulse cannon would just go a few meters off my target. Then, I figured out what I did wrong. You can move when you are charging it up but not when shooting.
+Vi-Pe Oh, is it really that? I thought that was the case but I tried in the battles to zoom out before shooting but I didn't think it was too bad, would make sense though.
+Vi-Pe well yea because most are, grenades, some are lock on, the bow caster fires the same regardless of what you do so based on that is assume the pulse cannon and cycles rifle would be the same as the bowcaster. But since not enough weapons are non lock on guns there isn't much to test with
The inaccurate pulse cannon happened to me for a long time... I that it was terrible. Until I realized that I was letting go of aim before shooting. And when I stopped doing that... I was killing everyone!
Hey BattleFrontUptades, I'm rank 34 and i have used before the Pulse Sniper, but i still have that isseu when i shot strate and shot goes upwords, is there a way to fix it? Or the game just doesn't like me? :P
I am currently using the ion torpedo in my defense class. Are the pulse cannon/homing shot a better option ? Seeing as they can also be used as a regular gun.
Sorry if it's a bit late, but I find the pulse cannon is better, but I find it doesn't do enough damage to AT-ST, so if you find you're having a lot of trouble with the AT-ST id say stick with the ion launcher
I'm lvl 49 and i'm still struggling to get a kill with it, even when the aim is centered the shot just goes directly above I'm on pc thought, which might be more sensitive when using a mouse rather than the controler, someone help!
How the shot of the pulse cannon diverts would make sense, if the projectiles were bullets instead of laser. Which would make sense if this was Battlefield. But sadly, it isn't. Seriously, just what was DICE aiming for when they made this game? Thanks a lot EA, for completely destroying one of the bests franchises in the videogame industry. And people said nothing bad would come from Star Wars being sold to Disney!
My pulse cannon still does that where even if I'm aimed it goes way off target and I watched this to see if I was doing something wrong but I guess mine is just stupid or something
Actually the reason that happens is because you aim out to fast right after firing, it registers it as a no scope, so you have to wait like a second after firing to aim out
If you change your aimsight after releasing the shot, the shot will actually follow your aim in midair, this also applies when switching back to regular weapon after releasing the shot. The only way you can hit your target with pulse cannon is if you stay on your target untill the shot hits. Most retarded thing iv'e come across in the shooters ive played so far. im glad i didnt get it when it was 60$ even now with the 20$ deal on the standerd version I wouldn't recommend this game if your looking to play a shooter becuase this game ignores the laws of physics when it comes down to it.
