@@Skeletonizer1200 Nah that's not wrong. Using "Ihr" or "Sie" when addressing someone is the formal/polite version of "Du". These days "Sie" I think has replaced "Ihr". It's a little old fashioned and usually used in fantasy works and -if memory serves me right- also what they use in the Star Wars movies.

Just as Saudis wear those 'robe' like clothes, and Americans wear denim jeans (definitely no khakis, those are for molesters of all stripes), ....so too do German citizens wear the clothes you mentioned. It is only logical that people wear clothes best suited for their geographic region and climate.

After World War II, the Americans were mainly stationed in the southern state of Bavaria. All these things like Oktoberfest, pretzels, lederhosen and mountains are from/located in Bavaria.
@@nicoju5211 Can confirm, I grew up in Bavaria. Though even then it's somewhat misleading. A _lot_ of this mountainous landscape and the traditional clothes are actually located in Austria. Most of Bavaria is actually pretty flat, the mountains are only in the very south. Most of that sort of landscape is in Austria. Gotta admit though, I got a bit of a soft spot for this stereotype because that was genuinely the environment I grew up in, so it's really nostalgic to me.

As a german teenager who loved the star wars movies german star wars hits different. I got really nostalgic especially since the original voice actors seem to be emulated by the AI. Vader and the clones are looking like german soldiers of the past. Great work.

I'm just guessing, but I believe they use SD to generate the images, and another AI tool to animate the faces. Not much can be done with just animated faces other than moving blinking and talking.
it's surprisingly good. I am German and yes there are many stereotypes, but all this imagery does indeed fit Germany, especially from the past, but Darth Maul also fits the present. Yoda is my favourite
That’s actually a good remake idea. The prequel trilogy set during the First World War and the original trilogy in WWII. Watching Anakin go from a young optimistic soldier to a grizzled and merciless SS officer would hit hard.

I love how the mountain looked like an imperial ship, large, triangular and menacing. Actually, I loved the whole thing. I recognised all of the characters and I didn’t understand a single word as I don’t speak any German - except for a few phrases.

First 6 episodes of Star Wars is inspired from German history. This is why I always assumed that the final 3 episodes would be about divided galaxy and breaking the wall in between them. Fun fact - Half of the galaxy in Star Wars universe was unaccessible according to the extended universe. The setup is there and Disney was too stupid to read the room.
