The soul trembles from the story - the author has done a great job. You can feel the weight of the choice that Count Dooku made. All the burden that he carried all these years... It’s a pity that there is so little information about him, I would listen to the story about the giant Terentatek that he and Master Yoda met on Kashyyyk. Sad fate. Tears welled up in my eyes when the second part of the video began. I felt the depth of the betrayal that his master so easily committed. And this is his promised reward, after all the sacrifices he made for the Master? Count Dooku deserves better. And I agree - "Count Dooku is much more powerful than Lord Sidious." (I respect you for these words). Count Dooku is my favorite, Jedi, Sith Lord, and just a character, forever. And also, in my opinion, this is one of the honest characters from Star Wars, how many times did he tell the truth about Sidious, but they didn’t believe him... How many times did he say that the Senate is corrupt and acts in its own interests, and not in the interests of the people. .. Thank you, Sir Cristosphere Lee for giving us this character, the way he conveyed his character, the pain towards Qui-Gon, the emotions that he conveyed when the one to whom he was loyal betrayed him. Thanks to him for playing as if he were Count Dooku, without fear, naturally - this is a great job. (In my opinion, all the roles that Sir Christopher Lee played were played naturally, and this is worth a lot. Eternal memory to him). Author, I thank you for all the feelings and efforts that you put into creating this story. Great job. This piece will forever remain in my heart. Like. Subscription. And a lot of views on my part...

Tales of the Jedi has completely changed our perspectives on Dooku forever. I personally will never look at him the same way I saw him in AotC ever again. Turns out, he was very much like Anakin. Such a good sad tribute to the character. How good he was and how much he lost himself to the point of becoming exactly like those corrupted senators he hated so much. Also, to everyone who was fascinated by this more in depth look at Dooku in Tales Of The Jedi please consider listening to the Dooku: Jedi Lost audiodrama and read the Yoda: Dark Rendezvous novel. You'll like him even more. Now, I'd like to add Dooku's death as it was narrated by Matthew Stover in the Revenge Of The Sith novel to perhaps add more gravitas to what's already a good tribute to the character: "As he looks up into the eyes of Anakin Skywalker for the final time, Count Dooku knows that he has been deceived not just today, but for many, many years. That he has never been the true apprentice. That he has never been the heir to the power of the Sith. He has been only a tool. His whole life-all his victories, all his struggles, all his heritage, all his principles and his sacrifices, everything he’s done, everything he owns, everything he’s been, all his dreams and grand vision for the future Empire and the Army of Sith-have been only a pathetic sham, because all of them, all of him, add up only to this. He has existed only for this. This. To be the victim of Anakin Skywalker’s first cold-blooded murder. First but not, he knows, the last. Then the blades crossed at his throat uncross like scissors. Snip. And all of him becomes nothing at all"

Matthew Stover's Revenge of the Sith novel is brilliant. He still conveyed that Dooku was shocked and scared but gave his death far more dignity than the novel did.

Damn, this nearly brought me to tears. I've never really cared much for Dooku's character. To me he always just seemed like the cunning villain of the clone wars. But seeing his story told from Tales of the Jedi, through Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars, into Revenge of the Sith and how he is just cast aside by Sidious after everything he sacrificed for him, now I can see that his story is just as tragic as any other character's.

Dooku is the best character introduced in the Prequels. Such a nuanced, fascinating character. His philospies are so *fascinating* and arguably 100% true. The only issue was his methods. Think about it - the concept of a divinely reigning monarch is based off of the principle that some people are blessed to have more authority and weight in the world. This is the basis that the Jedi built their philosophies from - and it is the exact same mentality that Qui-Gon Jinn has. Dooku's biggest issue is the fact that he was far too obedient to Sidious. Even compared to other Sith apprentices, he was more controlled and demure.

When Master Yoda met Anakin Skywalker he sensed the same thing in him as he did in count Dooku. He knew that he had lost Dooku to the Dark side and knew that it could happen again if not careful. Count Dooku thought that just learning the force one side he would never have true balance. Dooku's mistake was to trust in Palestine, who was just using him to groom and prepare Anakin through a series of plots and battles. I personally would have liked it if Dooku would have had a love in his life where he would have had a child. Maybe even could have been Anakin's father. Oh well no one will never know.

Dooku's mistake was to trust in Palestine ☠️☠️☠️

It’s interesting and simultaneously heartbreaking seeing the parallels between Dooku and Anakin. They were both good people with strong values who deeply cared about the ones around them in the beginning. But their disillusion with the status quo (the Senate and Republic, the Jedi Order) drove them to the darkness and Palpatine was able to manipulate them into becoming his weapons. In the end, that goodness and their beliefs were perverted into evil by the Sith. It’s so tragic thinking about what could’ve been if both Dooku and Anakin’s fates had turned out differently.

This show changed everyone’s perspective of Count, it certainly changed mine. It makes you feel very bad for his demise to a Person who questioned the council and became a sith just like himself.

I love everything about dooku from his actors to his portrayal as a wealthy yet caring person who solely focuses on doing the right thing even if he goes about it arguably the wrong way, plus his lightsaber and fencing style form is sick, just like this edit❤

I feel sorry for Dooku. He only wanted peace and for the Jedi to open their blind eyes. He’s literally what Anakin would have become if he didn’t lose to ObiWan. After losing QuiGon, Dooku gave up on the Order.

I feel like with tales of the Jedi, we can now read so much more in the face of Dooku before his death. It is not only betrayal by his master, but betrayal on a very deep level. He sacrificed everything for this cause, his friends, his allies, his order and then his values, ideals, his own people. He always justified it with it being worth in the end and now he is the one being sacrificed, but not for his own goals, but for Palpatines. He lost everything. His friends, his humanity and in the end his life, only for him to see that it was for nothing. Actually worse that, a total perversion of his original ideas. He became the instrument in his own dreams destruction, because of the betrayal of Palpatine which didn't happen when Dooku was killed, but when they first met. All crumbles around him and he remains as nothing.

Excellent tribute. Your editing is superb! You covered Dooku's entire life, and highlighted how he was manipulated and used by Palpatine- then unceremoniously tossed aside like garbage. You also captured his fall to the Dark Side and that Dooku started with good intentions but then became corrupted. Great job!

It is both incredible and so very sad to think just how tragic each of Sidious' apprentices were. Each could have been so much more if it had not been for the machinations of the Sith Lord and their own failures to seek out the answers they needed in far more productive, healthy ways.

if anyone else loves lotr/hobbit as well like me, i got CHILLS😍 at 2:22 when he said “we shall rule the galaxy together, i will be even more powerful… than lord sidious.” OMG, it vividly reminded me of his character saruman in lotr/hobbit (this i already thought) but wow just hearing words like that makes me know i’m right on point. both his characters were already extremely powerful. both were blinded by their new masters. but still in some way needing more power and control to fulfill themselves, turned to some sort of dark side to make it happen, and it eventually both led to their downfalls. CHILLS and i love them both 😍

Finally got a chance to watch one of your stars wars video and my god what a treat it was to witness first off I love how you mix live action and animation so seamlessly and with the way you edited his character it was perfect I absolutely loved your choice of music suits him brilliantly and gives you such an intense atmosphere which I thought helped add more depth his character and how you ended the first part with his dream of overthrowing Palpatine was genius. And then you hit us with emotional part about his betrayal order 66 and his loss of his apprentice I really loved how you ended it that was masterful especially the flashbacks you have truly created a fantastic masterpiece worthy of the star wars universe and I always felt Dooku was an unrated character I'm glad they added more to him 💙

Just like Dooku, Barriss also saw the Jedi order failings, only serving a corrupt republic and bringing war and invasions to whole planets instead of helping and/or negotiating with the citizens to remedy concerns. Being a healer probably made things even harder on her.
