Ryan. Mediocre? Really. That movie is one of the best (I also don't understand the hate for Solo) plus to say the best thing since Empire? There's a little thing called Revenge of the Sith. Dude. I love this channel and we can all agree to disagree but, really ?!
I know, right? Rogue One was a mediocre movie? Where did that come from. It is probably the best Star Wars movie since Revenge of the Sith. What was wrong with it?
My personal favorite Star Wars Movie List: 1. The Empire Strikes Back 2. Rogue One 3. Return of the Jedi Wait... did he say Rogue One was a mediocre movie... Death Star laser noise intensifies.
I'm so hyped for all three of these Star Wars projects as The Mandalorian, Andor & Rogue One are the three best Star Wars live action projects I've ever seen. In Dave Filoni, We Trust
A lot of RU-vid writers intentionally put bad info in they videos to see if people are copying them. Ryan is putting the correction on the screen because they know what they really meant. I don't know that Screen Crush does this 100%. But I wouldn't rule it out.
It would have been nice that being a Disney+ customer, that D23 would be broadcast on Disney+. My monthly (annually paid) subscription is essentially paying shares, making the "share holders" happy, so thus, a subscription is a "share" and we (Disney+ subscribers) should get to see D23!
Hey, has something changed in the store set lighting, camera or grading process? I feel like these recent videos are slightly less orangish than before. It’s driving me nuts and I just want to know if it’s different or not. Please, my sanity needs an answer!
Thanks for your review of 'Andor'- I, too, was relieved to see a Star Wars program focus on characters and story instead of trying to fill every scene with lightsabers and Jedi. It put a bit more believability in the story (I'm a Gulf Vet, and this was a story I could easily see myself in, as opposed to any show with a force using lightsaber wielder as the main protagonist) and showed that there weren't Jedi hiding in every dark corner of the galaxy (since although there might have been thousands of them, they were but a drop in the population of a galaxy that could easily have many TRILLIONS of beings in it). Nice seeing that someone at Disney is making a Smart Story for fans who enjoy a splash or 'realism' in their tales and don't need to burden a story with midi-chlorians and laser swords.
They are technically canceling Andor. It was originally planned for 5 seasons, with each season covering one year leading up to Rogue One. They're cramming 4 seasons into one season and ending the show early.
Actually, Both Gilroy and Luna agreed a long time back that neither of them wanted to work on Star Wars for ten years. It was planned as having two seasons from nearly the beginning.
Actually it will be Brendan Wayne as Din's embodiment and Lateef Crowder as Din because the stuntman aka Brawler Mando. Thank you always for your awesome breakdowns and I do use Rocket Money. It's awesome!
For the Love of God! The Razor Crest was a ship from a line of ships called "ST-70 class Razor Crest M-111 Gunship". Mando even asked Pelli to try and find him another Razor Crest before she convinced him to rebuild the N-1. I'm not even sure "Razor Crest" was the actual name of the ship.... it may not have been named and just had a serial number tied to it (I could totally see Mando not naming his ship)
The premise for Skeleton Crew also really reminded me of Star Trek: Prodigy when it was first announced, and I'm still getting a bit of that vibe. Fortunately Prodigy has turned out to be a bit of a love-letter to Voyager, so I remain cautiously optimistic. Oh, and I have to also agree that throwing shade at Rogue One was unwarranted.
This trailer also reminded me of The Goonies, Stand By Me, and The Explorers. It also had the vibes of a movie called Zathura: A Space Adventure, which was similar to Jumanji. Zathura was directed by Jon Favreau, the creator of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. I sincerely hope Grogu talks in the Mando & Grogu movie.
what are you saying about it, please stop saying that name you almost nailed it well done that's really truly what happened at the top 30 moments of Was Same was Old in 2021 in Now Playing What did fans think of the "Skeleton Crew" Trailer? "Mediocre movie"? Rogue One? C'mon Ryan. when you referenced Rogue One as a mediocre movie, that hurt "Luke Fighting a Sarlacc" I believe you meant *that Rancor Wasn’t gonna comment on the weird lighting until you went after my baby Rogue One Andor does NOT get enough love! "Luke fighting a Sarlacc" shows footage of a Luke fighting a Rancor I really miss having more Andor and Din & Grogu in my life, can’t wait till they’re finally back on the small and big screen! Does anyone else notice the camera quality on this video is different from other Screencrush videos? Did you see Fuzzball from Captain EO? Wanna see Mando and Andor!!! Skeleton Crew Pas!!!! Does anybody hear that “Loke” at 9:19 This Series is the Bad Batch you I see that Never Gets Old? The Efforts They Put Into These Is Amazing. Thanks To Logan and The Crew A sack of batteries, Damn son!!! This series John Oliver's Moments Never Gets Old. The Efforts They Put Into These Is Amazing. Thanks To Logan and The Crew I Love the Thor: Ragnarok "Prisoners with Jobs" reference! 6:12 It would have been nice that being a Disney+ customer, that D23 would be broadcast on Disney+. My monthly (annually paid) subscription is essentially paying shares, making the "shareholders" happy, so thus, a subscription is a "share" and we (Disney+ subscribers) should get to see D23! Luke fought the Rancor, not the Sarlack. Cool They are technically canceling Andor. It was originally planned for 5 seasons, with each season covering one year leading up to Rogue One. They're cramming 4 seasons into one season and ending the show early. Woah woah woah…..Luke fought the Sarlaac? I'm excited about Star Wars up-and-coming Projects Rouge One is mediocre? Tf are you on? Rouge One is top two ever in Star Wars movies Maybe No way he called Rogue One a mediocre movie Actually, that’d be a recreation of Luke fighting the Rancor, not the Sarlacc I love your new cameras! but your editing team needs to increase the saturation a little more... My personal favorite Star Wars Movie List: 1. The Empire Strikes Back 2. Rogue One 3. Return of the Jedi Wait... did he say Rogue One was a mediocre movie... Death Star laser noise intensifies. I must have misheard. Surely you meant to describe Rogue One as the greatest Star Wars movie ever made. I predict that with all the hype and now cult following that Andor had garnered a bit following the months after it aired, I think it will initially get significantly more views this second season than it did the first season. Andor is the very definition of a true sleeper hit! Andor is THX 1138, nonetheless can’t wait for Saw to kill Luthen I don't know how I got it into my head that Skeleton Crew was supposed to be an Ocean's 11-style heist story, but that trailer killed any interest I had in it. I remember the Ewok movies. New camera or lightning, it feels darker idk I think I prefer the are too much of brighter videos or maybe it is a question of habit Andor is still the only good Star Wars thing since the original trilogy, except maybe S1 of the Mandalorian. I think Goonies in Space (skeleton crew) looks potentially fun, but nothing is going to hit anywhere close to Andor S1 in the foreseeable future. “Luke should be the ONLY JEDI” But… “It’s perfectly fine if there was a Chosen One split into two girls before Anakin!” Okay Screen Crush, sure. It's pronounced Toodik, not Tahdik. Rogue One comments. *Sighs Skeleton Crew sounds an awful lot like Star Trek Prodigy that was a Rancor, not a Saarlac Rogue One did not deserve to catch that stray tf?? lol So Brendan Wayne isn’t also involved now??? Rocket money is not better than an actual jet-pack There's so much misinformation in this video that is mind-blowing! Um, I ordered a sack of batteries and I never received it. Can you please send that over to me? Thanks! Luke was the only Jedi left who had a chance to stop the Empire! By the time Mando comes out nobody will care anymore. Rogue One, mediocre? Have you been taking your manager's meds? Rogue 1 is my favorite Star Wars since the original trilogy, mediocre where? These are Great What I would love is a Doug retrospective, rife with his greatest moments. Of course, Star Wars is alive. It never dies. Ryan looks hella tired. did you change the camera or equipment? it kinda of looks better Totally glossed over Fuzzball from Captain EO in the Skeleton Crew trailer. I'd bet an arm it's a reimagining/origin story for Captain EO as a means to make Captain EO Star Wars canon. Too many similarities to list. Rogue One was not a mediocre movie, Ryan. I LOVED Space Camp as a kid. Baby "Leaf" Phoenix. Now...for the negative...Rogue One is one of my favorite SW movies...and I grew up in OT time. Mediocre it is not. Explain how you like Andor, but think Rogue One is mediocre?! no. 10000 Jedi existed at the time of the purge. if 1% survived, that is a lot of Jedi to follow around. Little Green Men doesn't know anything. he didn't even know he met with the Sith master, on a regular basis Somebody please buy a T-shirt so they can switch the lights back on. Dark Ryan's set is looking a little AV club. Oh, and maybe a better microphone...just saying Bro looks tired and needs a better title than Mandalorin and Gorgu I'm sorry, Rogue One is "a mediocre movie?!?" Damn, it you got the entire fanbase burning for that Rogue One comment lol Did you seriously call Rogue One a "mediocre movie"???? Wow, I could NOT disagree with you more. Andor is terrible what are u yapping about Rogue One is the best Disney-era movie bar none. To call it Mediocre while praising the Acolyte is disappointing. Go back to hour-long episodes! Disney has the money. Stop trying to sell me sheet Yeah … no one ever wanted a cheap kiddie piece of junk like Skeleton Crew. 1! Hey hey, u can say ur mom to us. it's funny...but not too doug bro How DARE YOU Call Rouge one Mediocre. I shame you! SHAME! Pause!!!!!! Did you call Rogue One a mediocre movie? But you gushed all over that dumpster fire called the acolyte?????? Damn, dude go outside and get some sunlight for Christ's sake! Looks like it’s for five-year-olds non-stop talking about me is too much about my own bother back a year ago was not in my age that was funny hehe hehe live-action Top 10 Movie Kisses That Happen Just Before Tragedy MsMojo.
Thank you for being an actual positive voice in the Star Wars fandom right now. All of the rage posting is getting so tiring. I'm thankful you guys don't just look for the bad, but share the good with the bad. Your takes are nuanced and enrich the dialogue around this franchise.
Rogue One medicore? Andor is great? Seriously question your judgement. Andor was lowly viewed for a reason. At least in Boba Fett you can see the budget on screen. And I think you may be overstating the supposed non-use of special effects in Andor. Do you think that space prison was all practical effects? The space beach planet?
I'd love to hear more stories of air-to-air heatpumps in the UK. There are some benefits that seem understated, and it sounds like it will pair really well with a solar/storage systems.
Well the thing is by the time of TESB/ROTJ it is easy to presume that Luke and/or Leia would be the last hope, not necessarily because they were the 'Last Jedi', but because of the familia relationship between the twins and Vader might be the only way to save the Galaxy, because they could emotionally have an affect on Vader, which ends up being the case... But we know that after this, Ezra returns, Ahsoka seems to become a Jedi again (although, might be more of a "wayseeker") and takes on an apprentice (Sabine), but there are several characters "out there" now (like Jacen Syndulla who may or may not get some of Jacen Solo's HTTE arc and could be the bridge to Skeleton Crew) that have Jedi potential that might have been alive during the OT or before it, like Ajass Ventress, Cal Ketsis, Omega???... We don't know what happens Kelleran Beq either and/or if Yoda knew about Grogu, or did he think Grogu was lost? But my point is while I agree that I think a story about an adult middle-aged force user becoming more like a Jedi (because he seems to be a Han Solo type freelancer, and not necessarily apart of a force creed), because of how these kids effect him, is a much better story, I can' deny that there are 'psuedo' Jedi or Jedi Wayseekers running around during the time of the Mandoverse that just don't end up following Luke Skywaler's Order...
Let’s go through some great moments of rogue one that contradict it being “mediocre” 1. When the Death Star eclipsed the sun on jedha. That was pure art. 2. Vader hallway scene 3. The fact that jyn and cassian weren’t in love they were just connected emotionally by the cause and just hugged each other as the destruction rushed over them. There’s more but that’s my top 3
So I really liked the movie Rogue One and was excited to see the Andor series. I enjoyed it more that most of the others. So glad to get a Season 2. Also Person, I know it was probably just a slip but the pic you showed of Luke fighting in Jabba's palace in ROTJ was a Rancor. The Sarlac was the one in the pit.
