His rules don't apply to Disney who seem intent on ruining every Disney classic and now they have murdered star wars. Nothing is safe from these utter fools
@@matthewkreps3352 yeah that's what i thought too Have one character, he fails to become who he should become Clone him and try again Fails, gets killed by third clone who is successful
If it was something more minor I would agree like the clip from rogue one where she was on the platform and a tie fighter flew up to face her. But this kind of clip seems to important to just be a trick
Yes yes yes! I saw a theory video a while ago about how the Sith code just sounds like having normal emotions and living as a human being. The Dark Side isn't about being evil, it's just most of the significant people belonging to the Dark Side are and were evil!
Luke: You went straight to the dark. Rey: That place was trying to show me something. Luke: It offered something you needed and you didn’t even try to stop yourself.
I think that its a vision Emperor Palpatine will show her, like "The Dark Side will give you so much power, see?" Or they're just not going to put it in the movie.
I mean. This folding double-bladed lightsaber isn't new. At all. In The Clone Wars animated series, a Jedi Master, Pong Krell, wields two of them. One blue, one green. and the Jedi Temple Guards in both The Clone Wars and Rebels series each wield one of these foldable double-bladed sabers with yellow blades. So this is actually a callback, not something new like Kylo's blade.
Another note no one is talking about...the red saber that Dark Rey has is sparky like Kylo's.... could they (Dark Rey and Kylo) each have a half of the possibly cracked crystal from Vader's saber? I think that Rey is a clone... Palpatine wanted to correct his previous mistake and create the perfect apprentice. Using Vader's DNA with his own manipulation he created hundreds of clones. When our Rey was "born" a lab scientist saw a glimmer of light in her and escaped with her, leaving her to never be found...only leaving her the name "Rey" phonetically a "Ray of light." Palpatine of course learned of the escape and hunted down a killed the scientist but couldn't find the girl...so he's been manipulating Ben Solo through the guise of Vader to destroy this threat (hence the scene from TFA, he had been warned of "a girl"). Now that Kylo has failed, he decides o reemerge with his perfected clone and reclaim his Empire. Oh, and Snoke was Plagueis....Palpatine was just planning on killing him again but Kylo beat him to it. So be it...
Ok, I know I said this last video but the new video style, in the words of J: "Holy Fricken What!?!" . The change is so refreshing and funny and entertaining. Simply can't say enough!
I love how you have all these theroies and possiblities with all them good research and what not amd then... We only see this dark rey for a few seconds
I just thought of something, how did kilo Ren know who Rey's parent where when she didn't. What if she was raised by Palatine then got her memory erased and left on that planet.
I don't know who edits these videos but the style of editing looks significantly better and I love it. I know this sort of editing might take more time but it is truly looking superb!!! Keep it up!
My favorite thing about this video is actually the editing. The “outtakes”, the text... it brings a lot more of your personalities into the video, which I love! More of this! ☺️
These were all great examples, but I had honestly taken it to be another phantom. One meant to tempt her to the dark side. Like saying"see, even yourself can defeat you. The dark side is so much stronger.." but then obviously her battle with dark Rey is a distraction from Kylo Ren coming up to fight her as well
This makes a lot of sense. Like, how is Palpatine even back? Perhaps, the same way Luke and Yoda can appear as Force ghosts, Palpatine have learnt to appear as a Dark Side ghost.
@@kacperkubicki1101 you movie normies wouldnt know but palpatine had several plans in regards to cheating death. Such as posessing anakin had he remained whole, force transfer his spirit Into clone bodies of himself etc
I think of they're gonna draw a connection with Rey they could totally just say she's related to Palpatine. I haven't really heard anyone talk about it as an option, so it could come as a surprise, and I think it could really fit with what we've been told so far
Hey SCB I’m not pulling your legs if you look hard enough in the dark Rey scene you can see in the bottom right trailer a cloak This could mean it’s a reflection of Rey
I dont think shes a clone, I think shes a child of the emperor, after watching one of the star wars games one of the jedi you fought with was this and the emperor could control her.
Um Can somebody tell me when a special fancy foldable retracting Swiss-army stainless steel red double-bladed lightsaber is out in shops, cuz a want one
palpatine creating anakin was one of vader's force visions, and obviously, force visions can't be trusted or taken as complete fact. we can't say for sure that palpatine impregnated shmi, and the lucasfilm story group has said as much.
Actual answer: it's not in the movie at all. JJ just put it in there because it looks cool. Just look at her expression; that doesn't fit at all with the tone of that shot (she's clearly fighting back a smile). That saber belongs to someone else. When they were shooting that fight scene, JJ says "hey Rey, take this lightsaber and open it up. It'll make people think their theory is coming true and it'll look cool for the trailer". There's plenty of precedent for this. Just look at many of the recent Disney and Star Wars movie trailers. They've been using a lot of stuff in the trailers that aren't in the movies. Examples: -Hulk in Infinity War battle scenes -Jyn in the hallway in Rogue One -Jyn walking out on the platform when the TIE appears at the end None of those are in the movies, but they were all put in the trailer cause they thought those shots looked cool. Trailers aren't supposed to spoil the movie; they're just supposed to grab you attention and look cool so that you'll go see the movie.
What I was thinking is that Rey is possessed by Palpitine, and Palpatine is dead / a force ghost still. But he uses his force or force ghost powers to possess Rey. So really Rey would be Palpitine but Rey’s body is the puppet. And he chooses Rey because she was training a whole lot between e8 and e9? Idk. And she’s naturally really Talented or the chosen one. So maybe the Movie will be about the true power of force ghosts and how much they can really do and interact with. Meaning... No ones ever really gone. !!!! And they could explore it further by Luke primarily but also other dead Jedi using there extended knowledge of force ghost powers to help Rey and the Resistance stop the First Order / The Empire / Palpitine’s (in Rey’s body) plan. Maybe the ghost Jedi learn how to do more things from Luke’s ability to do the force projection? Or Yoda’s ability to lightning strike by Luke in the Last Jedi. Idk but I think it’s a pretty good theory. (Or Rey is mind controlled by Palpitine idk. And I like your theories a lot too. Great video!)
I dig it but its been established many times in canon that only jedi can be force ghosts so if it is this maybe she came into contact with an object that palpatine's consciousness was possessing and the same thing happened. Either way sick theory LOL
@supercarlinbrothers regarding point 2 - forgot to mention that remember Obi-Wan being resistant to training Anakin because of the insane force level he has; only Qui-Gon sees no danger, is in parallel to Luke being afraid of teaching Rey because of her insane force level.
Hi I totally agree with you that dark Rey is insane . by the way love your videos keep up the good work. Also #HOLYFREAKINGWHAT my favorite quote of all time and from J
Before I watch the video I'm predicting that this is a similar situation as Luke on Dagobah. Some sort of vision that the force is giving her Edit: Hah! My prediction was in there lol Aslo: HOLY FREAKING WHAT??!!
Visions are the theme in the current trilogy. In the first film, Rey touches the lightsaber and sees past, present, and future of the world and herself. We see her deal with a vision in episode 8 twice; she is seeing Kylo and vice versa. But when she is touching the force it’s strong. The force is an energy that surrounds us(aura) and it is the energy that connects us and things and things to things. The force is nature. And part of nature is light and dark th force also is a belief and if it’s nature it’s time. Rey not only has visions of time, she also is capable of light and dark. While it’s a vision she also will have light and dark. She is the one between Jedi and the darkness. The skywalker, in theory, isn’t a who but a what. It’s what’s between both light and dark. It’s theorized it’s adapting the grey Jedi. It’s obvious it’s adapting EU stories. It’s also that it should reflect episodes 3 and 6, 3 was someone joining the dark side and 6 the light. Rey will wmbody both. In the Eu, Jana Solo was both light and dark. My guess is she’s having a vision by I Hope She’s also a dark Jedi. So far theories are correct Before 7, during 7 and 8, all fans are on the correct path. The Skywalker isn’t Rey, it could be Ben(I don’t think so unless he’s going to adapt to being a Good guy against Rey, takin the Anne of his mentor). I think it’s to bring Balance. Yet Anikan was the prophecy. Anikan will be playing a role. Tje prequels and orgjnaks will be playing roles because “all the generations are in you” in Rey. This shows she is connected to the past in more ways than her parents(who we will know).
You make a very convincing case for the twin thing. If there is a Palpatine-trained Dark Rey that Light Rey is "Force entangled" with, that would totally explain why Light Rey is so strong. It would also turn them both into GRey Jedi when they reconcile. If Kylo Ren has already had a lot to do with Dark Rey (maybe even having a romance with her), this also explains why he is not surprised to see Light Rey when they first meet.
5:18 "spit in the face of everything that happened in The Last Jedi...." Sounds familiar....i mean you swap out "The Last Jedi" and insert "The Force Awakens" and you have a pretty apt description of most of the plot in The Last Jedi.
Also Rey za Burrell from Gundam Seed Destiny... Especially there's Star wars reference there... Like Gilbert Durandal room in his space fortress Messiah is based on Palpatine thrones in Death Star II 😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-grTKxNS2sVs.html
Especially if you're seeing similarities between Star Killer Base and Requiem cannon in Seed Destiny 😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vQhsbmgaqdo.html
OH MY GOSH!!! Me and my family had the same exact theory!!! Except we had an idea of Kiera from Solo is their mom, the evil one stays with Kiera and Darth Maul to train and Rey gets smuggled away to Jakku.
Remember Luke's speech about the nature of the force in tLJ. "Death and decay... that feeds new life. Warm, cold. Peace, violence." All opposites. If Rey has a clone/twin it would fit with the theme set up throughout the whole saga starting with the war within Vader (and then Luke) in the original trilogy. The force is a balance of both light and dark and one can only grow so powerful before it gets put back in place by the other. The only way the film could end is by Rey somehow finding a peaceful resolution with this dark twin - or destroying the force altogether.
THIS was my first thought when I saw it. Daisy has a twin sister in real life, plus... this is a safe way to prevent them from having to turn ACTUAL Rey to the dark side (which I think they should do). Either that, or Rey is a clone of the dark side version of herself, similar to how Vader tried to clone Starkiller (another super OP force user).
Lee Ethridge but palpatine must of had a child and a wife and palpatine’s child must of had a child so I don’t think that theory doesn’t have enough evidence
Lee Ethridge it must of been before revenge of the sith because who. would want to date palpatine after revenge of the sith and before return of the Jedi so Disney could go that way. Lee Ethridge when was the book made if it was made after 2015 it’s canon but if before 2015 it isn’t canon
