@@Shurikenet They used previously unused footage to bring Carrie Fisher back. However, they also CGIed her into the movie. Lando is only in the movie as a desperate ploy to get OG fans back.
E57384N As someone who was amidst all the people you see in the video, I think everyone didn’t know how to react when we heard that laugh for the first time
Love watching these reaction vids! Lando Calrissian is always a hit! And Leia too!! I can NOT wait to see this!!! Special shout out to 🎼JOHN WILLIAMS🎶 making it through ALL three trilogies🤘🎬
Every sequel trilogy Star Wars teaser thus far has begun with somebody heavily breathing into a microphone. Seriously, go look it up! Some guy I know fricking called it like a week before _this_ came out!
Wish I could have been that excited when I saw it love Star Wars yep not happy what’s happened but still am a fan but something has changed I’ll still go see it but yeah
I have to admit...when Lando came on screen in the Falcon...major chills!!! He should’ve been in one of the previous ones, 7 or 8. Oh well, what do I know? I only grew up watching the original in theaters when I was 6 years old. Please Please Me JJ’. Clean up that hot mess that was The Last Jedi .....
No ones ever really gone... You hearing that Palpatine? What about you Luke and Han? No Han? Ok maybe that was pushing it. Erm no Jar Jar sorry, I wasn’t asking you.
i can watch these crowd reactions all day.. but i do get concerned the excitement over the title will turn to disappointment.. i get the feeling many think JJ is bringing Luke back as the hero to this movie. just shows you what a mistake it was for Rian to kill him off. and Snoke. and Phasma. and Ackbar (while we're at it).
@@MrKimJoJo if you dont like star wars as a series and the sequel trilogy is the first thing you watched then fine i can see how you might like them, but if you are og starwars fan like me, then the sequel trilogy is a travesty that needs to be retconned asap
@@rasspliffari For sure I’m a Star Wars fan.. ever since I wactced ‘Return of the Jedi’ in the Cinema in 1983.. I traveled from Denmark to Chicago just for Star Wars Celebration.. If Disney didn’t make these sequels we had never got them.. so for me it’s much better than nothing.. But do we have to agree..? For me ‘Return of the Jedi’ is still the best and after that ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ 🙂
Star Wars has always been about the rise and fall of Vader. I’m probably wrong, is there something so wrong for wishful thinking? What I don’t want to see is the sympathy of Kylo REN, making him good. He killed Han Solo, you can’t come back from that.
Swerzye well, I’d say that gathering around with thousands of fellow humans to behold a fictional narrative and its characters because they represent something bigger than their own lives is a little more than just “liking” something. I mean, you could say a religious person just “likes” God, too.
Richard Wilson well that’s totally different. These people don’t “worship” these characters and live their lives based off that persons ideologies and commands. The characters represent something “bigger” because they have good morals, and that’s why a lot of people like these characters. They aren’t saying “get on you’re knees and pray for forgiveness or you’ll burn forever”. These characters are just hero’s because it’s the right thing to do
Swerzye you’d be surprised how many religious people aren’t fundamentalists. Also try spoiling the ending for a fan about to see Star Wars and see if they act rationally lol.
Swerzye also how do you know the good guys are the good guys? How do you know it’s the right thing to do? Why does everyone know Kylo Ren is wrong and Rey is good? Why isn’t taking over the galaxy a good thing? Why do people deserve freedom? Like, where do you get these presuppositions from? They’re almost automatic responses and most people don’t even question where their ethics came from.
STAR WARS SAGA THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY Episode IV: A NEW HOPE (05/25/77) Episode V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (05/21/80) Episode VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI (05/25/83) THE PREQUEL TRILOGY Episode I: THE PHANTOM MENACE (05/19/99) Episode II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES (05/16/02) Episode III: REVENGE OF THE SITH (05/19/05)
I Honestly don't know which is More RAGE INDUCING.....All of The Hate that this Trailer is getting or The Fact that there are People out there that have clearly already decided that "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" is going to be Terrible months before it has even come out.
Both are pretty close minded. I always thought that Sci-Fi/fantasy fans were supposed to be open to different things. Turns out alot of them are just crybabies who think everyone owes them
Honestly, the hate is something you just have to ignore. If you enjoyed it and you are excited for The Rise of Skywalker, that's all that should matter. I for one, enjoyed, the last two movies and I can't wait to it. This is going to be a long 8 months.
@@MrKimJoJo A lottery? I never heard of that. This is sad. I thought; who is more earlier there, there have entrance to the mainhall. But a lottery is disappointing. Best wishes from germany.
Samuel Gaona don’t actually mind Finn he’s a shit written character like all the sequels characters including the originals but I think boyega has done ok to see talented actors like dern Christie Isaac and Gleason be a bunch of fucking annoying dumb pointless morons is just laughable and Rey is the worst out the lot
Lol.. this comment is becoming old.. at 2:48, you can see the woman dressed up as Leia (to the left) crying and almost the last 45 sec, hear he and others crying.. Plus many people had tears in their eyes.. I was there to see it myself 😭😁
Ohhh.. Soo you think we where all virgins.. 😂 You are funny.. Many of the people visiting the Celebration was girls.. And couples.. I don’t about you.. But I fucked around 300 girls in my lifetime.. 😉
I personally am not a fan of the direction Star Wars has gone, but I suppose thats just the way it is sometimes. At some point the underdogs want to tell their stories too I guess. Doesn’t mean we have to listen.
I just hope we get a good lightsaber duel say what you want about the prequels but the lightsaber duels were the best the new ones look like someone just using a bat to be honest
In other words, how sword fighting actually looks? Look even the Sequel duels are choreographed but at least more realistically, akin to the OT. The Prequels most certainly did not have the best duels. They are horrendously over choreographed dance numbers where the participants twirl around glowing batons and literally aim for each others sabers. It's all style and no substance. Luke v Vader in TESB is the golden standard, period.
theS0UND if I want regular sword fighting I can just watch game of thrones or LOTR yes I understand your point but the prequels fights actually played to the fantasy of being a Jedi force powers played a big part and how fast they moved showed that they weren’t just regular swordsmen so I stand by my opinion
theS0UND and Vader vs Luke made sense only because of Vader’s build and Luke’s inexperience. The fight was supposed to be a complete novice getting his aaa kicked and toyed with by unimaginable powerful being...the sequels don’t even give me that if they did then I wouldn’t be put off by them Kylo is supposed to be trained but your telling me his abilities are equal to someone who picked up a lightsaber for the first time?? Get the fuck outta here original trilogy is special and always will be but prequels actually brought the fantasy of Jedi to life...
@@andyramirez4293 Dude Kylo Ren v Rey was exactly the same way as Luke v Vader. Kylo had Rey on the defense the entire time, toying with her. Vader did the same to Luke. Kylo was under orders to bring Rey to Snoke. Vader was supposed to deliver Luke to the Emperor. Kylo wasn't trying to kill her, he even tried to convince her to join him just like Vader did. The only difference is that Kylo was less experienced than Vader and Rey was much more experienced than Luke in combat. It's not that unrealistic that she got the upper hand on him for a moment. Luke even got a hit on Vader's armor which caused him to end their duel. I mean... everything checks out.
@@andyramirez4293 Idk why I can't see your full comment here in the actual comments but I can partially see it in my notifications. You're not even on the same page with me as far as I can tell. Rey isnt more powerful than Luke in TLJ and we're not talking about that movie! We're talking combat experience of TFA Rey compared to TESB Luke. Vader was the first time Luke ever wielded a saber against an opponent and his opponent was his much more powerful father who was holding back. And he never got any saber training from anybody, unless you count the remote training on the Falcon but I wouldn't call that substantial combat training. AND as a farm boy on a desolate planet I think we can safely say he had no combat experience against anybody with any weapon. Compare him to Rey who grew up as a scavenger on a desolate planet, demonstrating in the movie that she was plenty capable with her staff. And her opponent was the much more powerful than her Kylo who, again had her on defense the whole time and was also holding back. Still not a big stretch for her to get the upper hand on him momentarily. How does this not make sense to you?
How can people get excited about this, has anyone learn from jjs awakening trailer or last jedi's? "i've got bad feeling about this",poor lando hope they dont treat him as rest
bro im excited cuz the fricken emperor is coming back OOOOO boyyyy gonna be good ( once all the hype dies down in like a month though ill be skeptical on this movie its just that emperor laugh though OOO LOVE IT )
This Star Wars fans always crying when the movie thriller comes out and when they finish watch the movie they cry how they disappointed and how the movie was bad and go to RU-vid and do rants videos about that Is this movie will be different I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️
Salman Alharbi Yeah.. sometimes 😂 We true fans are hard to satisfy.. But I can assure you, when I watched ‘Return of the Jedi’ in 83, I was high on it many years after.. nothing bad to say about that movie at all 👍😎
Says the guy who probably sat this out because he's still upset about a movie from a year and a half ago. Who's the bandwagon fan? I would have gone if I could afford it.
@@kevinnelson66 of course just because we're supposed to love these diverse new characters and get them shoved down our throats and except that the ones we grew up with and loved get exited out like trash to make room for these boring undeveloped ones doesnt sit well for most fans who see this happening SJW fans.
Poor souls cheering at celebration think the title reveal means they will be redeeming what Rian did to Luke and he will come out of the Force in the flesh. Little do they know, all the title probably means is that Skywalker becomes a position, a title, a legacy that Jedi now have, and Rey is the first to hold it. There ain't no rise of skywalker in this shit. Another lame fakeout and disappointment, tricking all of you with a nice trailer like Last Jedi did. If episode 9 is a letdown, it will officially ruin the point of 7, which is currently the only new main trilogy movie I like.
aarswft You’re missing the point turd, they’re enjoying the trailer based on a false expectation of what they’re being shown vs what it will be about. So they will also be “sad” in no time flat too. Then what will you have to say? It’s almost as if we’ve already been through this before....
