@@waltz9230 You're welcome! I've come to really enjoy posting on "very old" comments (organically - I don't search them out). And I often get fun responses!
This is insanely ridiculous! Its been a decade now since this video have been posted and still at 1M views?? Oh com'on people this is by far the most perfect zero mistake starwars piano cover ever existed in youtube and no other pianist i think can surpass the level of awesomeness.
I'm the guy that other people think can play, then I watch this and it just reminds me I am a hack. You sir, are a jedi master on that piano and this is arguably the greatest Star Wars medley I've heard.
Seeing a performance like this is incredible! But, think for a second about the man who CREATED this piece. This is out of this world! John Williams is an absolute genius!
One of the few piano videos that makes me tear up at the end. It was played so flawlessly; I'm not an expert or anything, but I couldn't hear a single mistake. ;O
This is my favourite piano version of Star Wars on RU-vid. Some pianists are incredibly arrogant and they throw in so many fancy notes that have nothing related to the score, but when you play it is faithful to the score. You deserve more views.
yeah the other ones on youtube are shit. playing some non existing fancy notes that make me click x. this version i been learning for around a month now. no way as good as this but its getting better. u can c on my page:
@@yordankaacosta2849 bruh u cant get that arrangement. I have spent like 7 months working out that arrangements from different arrangements around the internet and playing by ear. I researched into eric levine and apparently he came up with this from different arrangements he already knew in his head and there is no manuscript for this. Im almost finished tho i have learned up to one minute and 141 seconds which is exactly the samr as how he plays it except not as fluent. Also i changed a couple of parts in their to sound more like the film. Theres are a couple of scripts im the comments but they have different notes and some of the notes sound off. I have corrected those also. I have a version on my page but its not ad good as how i can play it now and i can play more also. When i master it i will make a video.
I see we have some Star Trek nerds here disliking this video. Brilliantly played, you need to be a pianist to understand how much work goes into such a piece just to memorise, get the technique down and up to speed and then play in a musical way without messing up.
yo i can say you're the best piano player i've ever heard in my life. i never even knew it was possible to play like tht. it's like u translated the wholer orchestra into your notes. i'm good at the piano but u make me look shit. i like seeing someone like u cos it sets me a target of how good i need to get.
After having absolutely no luck finding this exact version on paper, I finally downloaded one that's similar to yours. I have two problems... - it doesn't sound quite like yours, but it's close. - all scanning software finds it too complicated to transcribe accurately. I have started transcribing it, note by note, on Finale Songwriter. I should be finished in a couple weeks, but no promises. I will post a megaupload link for all to enjoy as soon as I'm finished. Music for All!!!
@@HANDSWORTHMAGIC thanks for all the compliments. I hate it when people react totally out of bounds after they have been helped totally voluntary. If you would have taken the trouble to check the reactions on the video you would have seen that the link is posted in the reactions. Enjoy your day
@@toonwijnandsbro they are not the right notes in the linm to what eric levine is playing. Someone else posted a transcript it had a few alternate notes in there but i was able to correct the notes as a good 90 percent was accurate
Eric, this is the best arrangement for piano of the Star Wars theme on RU-vid. Please, on behalf of all pianists and force-users on RU-vid, please could you make this arrangement available on musicnotes.com? I would both love to play it and support you.
@@Dan-eu6sj You can have it for free! I have uploaded the finsished PDF Version on Mediafire. The transcription follows Erics performance by ~98%. Some small changes were made because of my own interpretation and understanding of the original orchestral score. I added some tempomarkings at the spots which feature drastic changes of tempo. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or difficulties. You can download the score here: www.mediafire.com/file/tdctao7hgi3dkx2/Star_Wars_Main_Theme_Version3.pdf/file
-clap clap - This was a very very awesome and a sweet thing i have hear. It gave me a more wide breath-takeing outcome of the show and the movie. And what Yoda would say is "yes, yes the force you must use and it you have used".!
Probably not very long. He plays by ear very well. He could play "Let it Go" from Disney's Frozen within a few months of the debut. I know this because he played it at my house when he visited. He's my uncle, so I hear him play often.
@@nilen hey it's me from the future. i really underestimated how fast he learns stuff. he learned let it go in WAY less than a few months. no idea why i thought it was that long lmao
@@mziel53 , that is exactly why I've put the Max Loh version on the music. Watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4mDR0q4mtwg.html
Time and time again I end up coming back to this medley it's my favorite one, despite all the grander ones out there! Simple but heartfelt and raw and honest and passionate and I love it so much
The greatest video I have ever seen on RU-vid! Honestly, I have never ever commented on anything here, but I HAD to log in to write down these words. The force is strong with you, Compadre! Unbelieveable! You should call John Williams for co-working on Ep. 7, seriously, the world, no, the galaxy needs to hear more of this outstanding talent. Sas efxaristw poli!
Absolutely amazing. I listen to this once in a while and it sends happy shivers down my spine. It’s great to hear an actual, proper, representation of the Star Wars theme tune that you’ve created. BRAVO again, and thank you.
