I’m most excited to see and experience the interactions with the characters and the side quests. I hope the experience is up the same level when I’d like to go in a few years!
Star Wars has been the most positive thing in my life since 1977, I want to feel immersed in that world when I come on board the star cruiser. I want to forget life on earth and be in a different universe, and to be surrounded by people who love Star Wars as much as I do.
I would absolutely LOVE to win that saber omg!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🙏🏽I’m so so excited to take my gf there, I just turned her onto Star Wars, she was never into it until now. But I’m mostly looking forward to trying some of that food, meeting the awesome cast and doing those quests! Looks like such an incredible experience!
Ok I’ll start off by saying I’ll Definitely be staying here one day when the hype dies down a little simply because I’m a Star Wars fan and an immersive experience would be cool. It doesn’t look bad but also not spectacular tho , seems like pop century style rooms with some digital screens . The hallways and atrium are awesome but bar just seems like Ogas. I also agree with you it looked overwhelming with that many people in the main lobby , I personally would like to be in there when it’s kinda empty if I’m spending that kinda dough . Good coverage ..bright suns ! Also good to see Joe Rohde (look alike) at 48:19
I think you’d have a blast here and I’m sure this experience will have lots of changes over the next 6 months to a year as they learn what works and doesn’t so it might be great to go once the excitement dies down and see how it evolves and improves
I love both your channels! I love to see how you all are friends. Thank you guys for doing these! I am most excited to go one day to be immersed in Star Wars and live out the dream
Looking forward to experiencing the physical world of star wars with my son 40 years after the new hope introduced me to it at the movies. Seeing Luke’s home again in the last jedi film made me feel like I was 10 years old again. I look forward to sharing a world filled with hope that one day could flow into the real world. Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
It’s really no wonder why this closed down. I mean, Disney’s price point was abysmal and then on top of it you had to pay for your drinks? That’s offensive. At their price point this should’ve been all-inclusive. I’m happy you guys got to go and it looks like you had a brilliant time, but for even a fan with the funds to do this - it doesn’t seem even remotely worth it for what you actually get besides purely the experience. Thank you for documenting what is now a piece of Disney history.
All I can say is the people who did get to experience thought it was worth it. It had the highest guest satisfaction rating of anything Disney has ever created, ride, land, hotel, park anything. The problem was convincing people it was worth the cost.
I could see maybe doing this once, but it seems it would be exhausting to have this going on around you all the time. Plus the rooms have no windows to the real outside. And the rooms are small and mediocre. For that cost I'd rather be at a large luxury Hotel room where I could really relax and have solitude after a long day.
You’re never really in your room other than to sleep so that part doesn’t really matter. We’ve done it three times now and it was different and we awesome each time. It definitely is exhausting, it’s not relaxing, but in the best way
I’m really looking forward to seeing what the 1st Order side has to offer. Honestly I was so excited to see that the captain was Pantoren. The whole LARP experience is incredibly cool and the fact they take it to the extreme where it Carrie’s over into Galaxy’s Edge is incredible. Thanks so much for making these videos!
49:20 Left-side theres a kid in 'Naruto' attire.. good to know the ship staff don't mind if you're dressing up for other IP/series. I wanna see a Samus or Spock cosplayer now.
I'm most looking forward to interacting with the amazing characters. Your Sammie was a childhood friend of mine so definitely interacting the cast members and other guests who just adore the franchise would be what I'm most looking forward to.
I’m excited about the role playing elements. The crews customers looked amazingly, and I like the idea that there are some many different potential paths to do. (I want my first trip to be Jedi or scoundrel)
This is SO FREAKING COOL!!! Y’all, we smiled the whole time. Watching y’all’s reactions was the best part. Also, Kitra’s laugh is incredibly contagious. 😂
Honestly this Is so great. For some of us this is the closest we will ever come to actually getting to go. Thanks for showing us the play by play not just highlights.
This is mid bro, don’t buy into this. It closed for a reason, it doesn’t look like Star Wars at all and the games/activities could be done at a chuckie cheese and it costed 6,000$ at least. Don’t even try to justify why the hotel isn’t anything related to what the original, prequel or even sequel trilogy gave us or it’s astounding price. But hey consume consume consume I guess….
I hadn't realised that 'Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser' was more than a themed hotel. It's a full on adventure holiday. Thankyou guys, this was a real eye opener. We had to cancel going to Disney Flo, three times, due to Co19, so hopefully we will get there later this year. I would like to see more of the ways they keep your character arc going through your stay.
I’m so glad that while it’s easy to see that y’all are looking through the lenses of fandom, you are still able to be honest about the overwhelmingness of it all, and that it causes some anxiety. This is why I love this channel. I think I’m most excited for the story elements and to see what paths the different choices lead you on. Best wishes, and may the force be you!
I am most excited about the role play and the story development. I would love to visit this place and feel like I am a part of this universe. May the force be with you!
We paid for the first public cruise in March 1 months and months ago. In February we were invited by Disney to cover this early press trip. We are still paying and going to the inaugural cruise next week.
I never clicked fast enough! I’m so excited to see how the different story lines play out. I’m also excited to see lightsaber training. Love you guys! May the force be with you!
I’m honestly just really looking forward to experiencing this trip with you guys! I’m immunocompromised and I can’t leave and do fun stuff very often so your videos serve as an outlet for me to have fun! Thank you so much ❤️ looking forward to see how the “emergency” experience will be 😄
So glad to see you guys experience this! Living in an era where something like this exists is amazing. I’m kind of an introvert so interacting isn’t up my alley but the food, the show, and just being there as a passive guest would be something I’d love to experience. Can’t wait to see dinner! Also, Universal, can we get a Hogwarts hotel please? Hobbiton? Hill Valley?!? Thanks.
The different story lines that seem to be unfolding would be the most exciting thing to experience. It's one thing to stay at a themed hotel it's another to be fully surrounded in the experience where every button could lead down a different story path. That lightsaber looks super dope. Also thanks for doing this so we can experience with you.
Im looking forward to…….EVERYTHING! I just cant wait to experience everything and be apart of a story line. I wonder if there are more secret passages aboard the ship?
These were the best 4 videos! So thorough and I think y'all eased my mind on the experience. I was convinced it was going to be a letdown, but it honestly looks better than I was expecting! Thanks so much for the coverage especially for those of us who can't afford to go for probably a very long time(Teacher and currently unemployed spouse)! Living vicariously! Love you all! 🧡🤍🖤
The choosing your own adventure story line is so good. And then returning to have an entirely different experience 🤯 Cannot wait to experience it. Keep up the amazing vids, love you guys xx
Value is in the eye of the beholder and their financial situation and connection to Star Wars. Some people would pay as much for an 8 hour vip tour at Disney world. To us that’s not worth it because we don’t need to ride all the rides in a day. But for us the Starcruiser experience is worth it. Others it won’t be. Not only that but the amount of interaction in this immersive story is not something you can do at a large scale. And Disney knows that, they only built 100 cabins meaning only 15,000 groups will go to this each year. The cost is because it costs a lot to build this thing and the tech and pay the performers and castmembers. There are only 100 paying groups per cruise so that cost is spread amongst the passengers of the experience. Some people will think it’s worth it and others will not. For me it’s a piece of art that I can experience from the inside. It brought me so much joy. For me it was worth it.
What I'm looking forward to the most - the immersive stories. Even if I only get to follow one, and WATCH the others go on around me - I'm a veteran LARPer, and watching other people enjoy their experiences in a shared universe just makes me so happy. Thank you for making these videos!
Beyond excited for the stories and experience. Disney does such an amazing job with story telling and mood setting. One of the few places where most of us can let go of the weight from the real world and simply enjoy being happy and excited.
What I’m looking forward to most with the “Star Wars galactic Starcruiser” is the complete immersion into the Star Wars universe. For over 35 years I dreamed of being apart of that universe, and now I can!
hi guys, your channel is super awesome, it would be great if your videos had spanish translations so I could watch them with my wife, she's so fond of the good memories we have from our trip to Disney .
I am so excited to see what your able to accomplish on this cruise and where the story will take you and how life-like it all is! Appreciate these videos and all the hard work you put into it.
I watched y'all before I watched Jenny Nicholson's video of her own experience. I understood the points she made about the entire thing and it sucks it didn't work out that greatly on her end (I'd have been disappointed, too, if I'd gotten that kind of experience), but at the same time, from the perspective of y'all, it seemed like a very fun and pleasant experience. Kind of like an...to each their own kind of thing? Anyway, it's just interesting, seeing things from different lenses. If it hadn't been so expensive, if it weren't for a potential plane ride (I have a phobia) to get there, if any one in my family other than my mother and I were into Star Wars, and if I didn't have such severe anxiety (caused by a disorder; it's a hindrance), I honestly would've gone, at least, once. Much love.
@@OrdinaryAdventures I'll just have to live vicariously through y'all (and others) instead. :D Out of curiosity, if you were to rate all of your experiences to different theme parks/cruises/etc, would this specific experience make it to top three?
@vibingwithlj this is by far the best themed experience we’ve ever had. That said, our trips to japan and china were definitely better in each totality, but that’s spending three weeks in a foreign country compared to 2 night experience. So there’s no comparison
@@OrdinaryAdventures :) Sounds like y'all just have a blast after blast, just on different levels; hopefully, none were disappointing (though what's life without a few mishaps). I look forward to checking out more videos (that aren't just these Star Wars ones I keep binge watching because I just have Star Wars on the brain right now). Take care!
The theming looks much better than the previews! If anything, it looks a little less like Star Wars just because it's not weathered, but that makes sense in the universe. Very cool!
We knew this adventure was never going to be in our budget when we first read about it. THANK YOU for showing us the amazing beauty of it. Almost made me cry.
Roughly 2500 bucks a night and 15 to 20 bucks for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Another 15 bucks or so for a drink. 20 bucks here and 30 bucks there for souvenirs. Damn, that is one expensive role-playing fantasy. I can afford it but have zero, nada, zilch interest. My guess is most will feel the same. Seriously, for that much a night, food and drink should be included. 🤐
Im mostly excited by the whole immersive experience! Batuu is amazing, but this literally puts you in your own star wars story! making choices, interacting with characters, I LIVE for roleplaying games and stories. The fact that this while experience is designed around the guest is freaking awesome!
Um....coolest thing I've ever seen??? I think it's so cool how it's a completely different vibe from Batuu in general, or from ROTR- it's got this pleasant classy feel that's almost reminiscent of an updated Star Tours aesthetic??? But with all the adventure and excitement of the ROTR storyline vibes too.....I'm *obsessed*. And that's definitely what I'm most excited for.
Aw GEEZ this looks so fun! I’m looking forward to being totally immersed in the Star Wars world, wearing a costume, making a character, improving- it’s a nerds dream 😩
I’m mostly excited for the atmosphere. I enjoy how everything looks and the general ambiance that Star Wars tends to have. Those bunk beds looked comfy and the bar area looked like a lot of fun to just get lost in.
Honestly I’m with Kitra, looking forward to the food!!! I love how they’re making exclusive food and drink options and truly making it a galactic experience by you having to go on the Star Cruiser to even get these options. I’ll be living it through you guys and taking your word for how good the food is lol, green and blue milk through a tap?!?! Cmon now!!
I’m looking forward to seeing more of the fun role playing and character interactions between the crew, First Order, and guests! Looks like you guys are in galactic heaven!!!!
Oh man. I’ve never been in any Disney Theme Park so far. To visit a Park in the US wold be the thing! And Batuu plus the star cruiser? Oh lord! But a far and expensive travel from Germany. Anyway. I would love to dig in the Smuggler or Jedi storyline. The experience that u showed is so cool. Thank you
Most looking forward to the First Order story lines and how they interact with the Jedi story tract. Everything looks much better than the first promo video they put out.
@@theimperialsoldier7048 they have some Empire era stories built into some of the story line. And they are expanding on that with the comic series. Now the Canon story lines that Han and Leia spent their honeymoon on the star cruiser. Han and Leia's initials are in the engineering room in Aurebesh
This is so much more immersive than I thought it would be! I’m looking forward to seeing more character interactions and how all the storylines play out! Also the food lol great job y’all!!
I’m so excited to see all of the different story lines and the crazy adventures you could go on!!! I was skeptical of this cruise before watching but so far it seems AMAZING!! Can’t wait to watch more!
Living vicariously through people, I'm really excited to see how the lore and play aspects combine with the environment. Stuff like this has never been done before to *this* level. I've never been more proud to be a fan!
I LITERALLY cannot believe this experience. Imagineering just going above and beyond as always. I think I'm the most excited about all the tiny details tbh, down to the slang that the cast members use and the imprints on the hand towels to the way that the lights flash and the noises that the droids make. Everything is so in character it made me tear up watching it!!
I’ve been looking forward to hearing about your insight on this adventure specifically!!!! I’m looking forward to seeing how the storyline progresses and how involved you get into it! I’m a pretty decent Star Wars nerd so I’m dying to see and hear so many more little easter eggs and references that might fly over some heads! Also seeing more aliens come to life and food!!! 😍😍😍
Kitra - Big Fan, first time commenting! I have to tell you that the guy who plays Raithe in your first cruise was not playing him on mine, but was attending as a passenger. I immediately recognized him from your video and went up to him and let him know that I knew he is and that I’m a big fan! He started to laugh and gave me a hug. He thanked me and asked me my name! It was one of my favorite parts of the cruise! Because of you and Peter, I got to have this magical l moment! Thank you!
I really just wanted good atmosphere, random Star Wars events, and people in character. So cool seeing that all done really well. Looking forward to more characters and the Jedi training
I’m excited to see how the crew of the ship will react with Star Wars lore, how much they know about Star Wars since they will be the ones you interact with the most so getting the full Star Wars experience through talking to the crew members will be really fascinating for me, and also it’s exciting to see how real Star Wars fans like yourselves will feel at the end of it all! Can’t wait for more!
Kitra and Peter, you two are so full of happiness and love! Thank you for being such a wonderful pair of awesome Star Wars fans and also doing exactly what I’d love to do if I were there! Your videos are so much fun and informative as well! Please never change❤️❤️🥰🥰❤️❤️
So you can cram 5 people in a very small room with no windows… I hope the ventilation is excellent or else it’ll stink pretty quickly! Harry Potter had better accommodation under the stairs!
My heart skipped a beat when I saw this video was uploaded. Always love your content and I've been anxiously waiting for more Starcruiser information for months.
Because you’re paying all that money for a tiny room that looks like it came out of 1975. So bad. I rather stay at the Grand Floridian on the Concierge floor.
Good for you. We made lifelong memories that my heart will never forget at Starcruiser. I’m sure the concierge floor of grand Floridian will provide the same 😂
I'm looking forward to the interactive story elements and wanna see how different each guests visit can be depending on the path they choose definitely wanna try and experience it all
I’m most looking forward to your guys reactions to the experience. I’ve seen a lot of nay sayer’s about this experience leading up to this launch, but watching you guys Nerding out really puts me at ease that it is definitely a fun experience, That hits the mark.
I just really love how everyone of the crew is a character in this amazing fantasy world. It is so cool to see people so passionate about Star Wars and the characters they bring to life.
I'd be most excited for the interactive story elements! I feel like this is what Batuu was supposed to be. And as much as you may not like the first order, I think we all have to admit the lieutenant has the best job (although I'm personally in league with Hondo). 😉
It’s bigger in person. It’s supposed to feel like a space version of a cruise ship cabin. Besides it really doesn’t matter because there is much fun going on that you’re barely in there to sleep
