I hover around rank 15th-1st on my shard and I have to say this was an excellent video. Very well done! All information spot on. Also I hate maul zeta lead....so difficult to beat haha
Phantom3209 same here in the top10 almost every day. And Zaul is frustrating because of the evasion. Raise your hand if you wanted the return of the dodge meta. No one? Who would have thought....
I was pleasantly surprised that farming and adding a 3* G10 Shoretrooper to my team kept me around 115 for weeks, with occasional top 100s. All of the sudden I got knocked down to ~300 yesterday. Have no idea how. Just got Baze unlocked and in the process of gearing him up to maybe replace STHan or Shoretrooper. Chirrut currently 24/50. Can't wait! Also lol. I can see K2 and Cassian making fleet shipments - and maybe Jyn since she's part of Cassians UWing. I fully expect Baze and Chirrut to get the Shoretrooper treatment on a hard node or cantina node that is out of reach for 99% of players.
Thanks for making this great video! I have a few questions: 1. When you talk about Lando losing arena viability late in the game, do you mean "endgame" at level 85, versus zeta-equipped teams; or sometime earlier? (I'm trying to plan out a target level and timeframe for switching him out.) 2. The top 50 of my arena shard is dominated by Nihilus lead sith teams, and Chaze rebel teams. Are your arena squad suggestions, towards the end of the video, intended to be competitive against these teams? 3. Just to make sure I'm understanding your advice about mod farming: we shouldn't bother levelling up grey mods, other than the two types you've mentioned as being useful. Is that correct?
Great vid man! Very helpful and informative. Am currently level 77 and the whole mod thing kinda sucks I guess, as i'm concentrating too much on char farming in the cantina (theres so many awesome chars!). So yeah, i'll try and divide it up a little. Cash is also quite a bit of an issue at the moment (am working on my scoundrel team while i'm working on my arena team as I don't want to fall down in the ranks) but I hope to be able to do the lvl 70+ credit heist without any issues soon. My arena team at the moment consists of Chaze, wiggs and boba, but ideally i'd like to have a full first order team and a full rogue one rebel team as I like the synergy within those teams. Going to be quite a bit of work, but i'll get there in the end. Just hope those teams won't be somehow nerfed or sucking till then.
+T. Franklin Hey and sounds like your on the right track just get some more mods and keep obtaining them. Stocking up on Mods is the only real way your gonna get better speeds and stats
Honestly I like using a Jedi/clone team, I'm currently farming for more shards for them, in my team I'm trying to acquire JKA, Ashoka, Rex, Kit Fisto and Fives
I remember back then you asked me/us to tell you our arenarank and tell you if it improved aftwr like a month...yeah that was 4months ago...back then I told ya Im rank 895 Im at the Moment 123 I dont know if I got there causd of your guide because the meta since then changed and Im running a zaul team which I selected almost everybody myself....but Im pretty sure I got something out of your guide that helped me.

another great video man! I'm running a Bobba lead with Vader, EP, TFP and Sun Fac. I have no zetas on them yet. When Baze becomes farmable would you suggest putting him instead of Sun Fac?
Great video! I bought a bunch of crystals recently and was thinking of investing them into shards from the shipment shop but with the new rebels coming out as nodes next month I don't know who to invest in. Should I just pile it onto shore trooper?
awesome video. just wondering, I want Darth Nihilus and EP as mainstays that i wan for sure for my team but i cant decide who to mix and match with: baze, chirrutt, vader, dooku, sith trooper, sith assansin, darth maul or kylo. what will be you guys' advice that i should go with?

Hey Smithie. thanks for such a brilliant video. I thought I was good at this game until I saw it! Would you say Rex (L) Chaze and Wiggs are the best all round arena team at the moment? (no GK yet in my shard). Until I saw this video I was thinking Wedge (L), Biggs, Chaze & Boba? I guess the first team is better vs zaul and maybe the second against another chaze team? +Rapid D Hey glad you enjoyed it Rex Lead is really good in alot of line ups Chaze and Wiggs make it a brutal attacking team but you can always change things up add and subtract characters where needed

When you farm someone you are farming to get 7 stars before moving on? Like for guild shipment you recommended Rex, Sun fac, Darth maul (which aren't on the guild store anymore) would you 7 star rex and then move on to Sun Fac, 7 star him and then move on to darth maul?
Nickalos Gowdie you should join Force Phantom, if you're at least a level 60 or close to it then you should be able to participate in most of the raids. There are currently only 20 people so I'd join fast
Hey SmithieD! I watched this like 3 times trying to figure out what to do. Currently bouncing around 150 to 80 every day with a Wedge (L), Biggs, Lando, Ackbar, and Leia but slowly been slipping as the meta shifted away from this a long time ago. So the closest I am to the squads you mentioned is the hybrid Nihilis (L) team. For me right now Nihilus (L), EP, Boba, RG, and Savage is what I'm thinking while I build up Darth Maul to replace Savage. I'm free to play and it takes a long time to get these ready. How do you feel about that team/plan/path? The only thing is when to put them in and start trying them out as I don't want to drop below 200, which I surely would with the state of that new team. Nihilis G8, EP G10, RG G9, Boba G9, Savage G10. Maul is almost 7* and G8. Any other recommendations?
I ran into an annoying bug the other day. In the arena, i came across a guy whose boba fett would re-spawn infinitely. And there were no players that could raise the dead. I'd kill him and he'd just come back again & again. I took him down 5 damn times and i shoulda won but when a character won't stay dead, they are invincible.
Been playing for about 2 months and I was guilty of wasting a lot of resources of useless characters. How do you farm characters like Wedge and Lando when you only get limited cantina energy per day, then also only a 50% drop rate on shards so it takes ages just to unlock characters like Lando. I don't understand how to farm shards properly
Can someone answer my question? So as F2P player, best option is to farm for Biggs & Wedges and Ackbar with Lando atm until you can farm the Rouge one squadron?

Smithie I am very confused as what to go for Now. I've been leveling my clones for the AAT raid and they are all about 20 shards away from 6 stars. Should I stop farming them and go for these characters you recommended?
+Octave Connections Not a bad choice he is worth it for the AAT. If your a while from doing your clone is there any character/lead you can use a Zeta on for your Arena team?
+Graham Floyd I have no idea buddy everyone is different or seems to have different luck. I havent ever had terrible drops I got 7drops last week out of 6 challenges
I would like to know if and when to abandon/pause a character development. Example: I am at Lvl85 and usually make it to the top 10. I run Lando/Wedge Leader with Biggs, Boba and ST Han. I plan on replacing on Lando with Baze and ST Han with Chirrut when they become farmable. Currently Boba and Wiggs are at G10 (my highest). Lando and Han at G9. The main problem is: I am not sure if I should stop developing Lando and Han right now or gear them all the way to G11 and after that start developing the (by then farmable) Baze/Chirrut? You see my problem there?
I took STH to G11 and replaced Lando with EP. Until Baze is unlocked, having a strong STH is a must, and EP will probably always be viable, so worth the investment.
Hi smithie, so I'm currently running empire team with palp (L), boba, tfp, sun fac, and recently just swapped up with dooku. How to improve this team? Cause I'm sliding south slowly. (no zetas, b2, chaze, rex, or GK at the moment).
+Gabriel Ari Yudistiro Work on Rex as one of your primary characters. Rex Lead Boba TFP Palp Sun Is a good team then when Baze is farmable pick him up and swap out Sun Fac then add Chirrut. Do you have Nihilus? If you do you should gear him and take Boba out. Nihilus at 3* G10-11 is awesomely good.
Yes I do got nihilus at 4* and g10 already but he didn't perform very well, I think it's because he requires a lot of speed boost from mods that I already distributed to tfp and boba. Really appreciate the feedback man, you're a cool guy!
Being lucky is worth that, but you'll never buy a mod with that stat straight out. Good luck, and enjoy pissing away your credits on taking chances. [edit: not actually trying to be a dick, just saying there's more reliable ways to spend those credits in my opinion.]
I don't understand your statement. I've bought two 5 star speed arrows in the past month, each costing somewhere in the 2-3 million credits range. I lack discipline though and tend not to keep that much gold in reserve, but if I were a better player I would.
Michael Fearless The point is to be really selective about which mods you buy, and the chances of them showing up are just so rare that when you see it you'll want it. Since the right side mods are outright rarer than the left side ones, and the chances of them having the correct stat is also low, and the chances of them having speed secondaries even lower, when all the stars align, you have to go for it. You also have to remember that while you are spending credits, you are saving cantina energy and hence crystals on farming mods, which could mean getting shards faster instead. It's not that big of a loss.
+Nicolò Nix Depends what Sith team if under Zaul with Nihilus and 2 others Sith then Sithtrooper is better. Non Maul teams then Baze is better if its a Zader team then Shore is probably better if you have Baze and Chirrut they are better than Sith Trooper and Shore
I have unlocked the health, critical chance and potency mod challenges all at 3*. What unlocks 5 dot mods in the mod store? I sometimes have the opportunity to buy 3 dot mods.
