Its slow only because of gameplay to make this stance different two small blades on sides wouldnt make lightsaber heavy.

They‘re not bashing the stance, it‘s just insanely slow and cumbersome and feels somewhat out of place in this game. I love slow hard hitting weapons in eg Souls games, but that‘s because the games are designed around that. Here, combat is super fast paced and this heavy slow attacking weapon just feels tedious to use.

@@MisterK9739 i beg to differ. Grandmaster is all about timing. You also have the ability to have 2 stances for different scenarios. Crossguard is REALLY good for 1v1 and breaking stances not just going around swinging at every given chance

@@MisterK9739 getting the same thing wrong like he said in his comment. It’s just not for everyone cause for me I loved the stance because I focus more on defending and deflecting and literally end up killing bosses and mobs way faster due to its power and how fast it staggers them

@@MisterK9739 It is slow but it is useable I pretty much main the stance and haven't had any issues using it even against multiple enemies.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. I heard that the game is terribly optimised on PC (very poor performance, non stop crashes, doesn't launch, black screen, etc)

People have been asking for something like that since Shadow of Mordor in 2014 :,D The Nemesis system in any game would be such a game changer. Sadly Monolith actually "copyrighted" that system, which is absolute maniacal.

Kylo's blade if I remember correctly was shorter than Cal's blade though, plus Cal's strikes are much harder hitting than Kylo's

Because lore-wise it doesn't weigh more than a standard saber. You think the 2 little tiny cross-guard emitters increase its weight that much? It's just a game mechanic to balance it out

Even though a Lightsaber blade will always be the same "weight" regardless of the type of Saber you're using, there are still other factors to take into account when wielding a weapon. The increased length of the blade for Cal's Crossguard may make it more difficult to maneuver with just one hand. The main blade of Kylo's Crossguard had a more average length, around the same as a typical Single Bladed Saber, and was thus easier to maneuver. There's also a matter of technique. Cal could simply be using a technique that prioritizes power over speed.

This is not the same as Kylo Ren’s saber. It’s using two kyber crystals for one blade.

@@WhiskeyDJones No, you dummy. The blade itself is longer and more powerful because Cal is using two kyber crystals to make one blade. That’s why it retains the joined of the doublesaber.

@@CpTn_QwRk PC. It ran with the stuttering a lot of people are having for 7 hours. I got half way through Jedha and it wouldn't stay on for more than 20 minutes. I have a real high end PC too. I tried every fix I could find but nothing worked

I only find crossguard useful for bosses and tanks enemies. Dual wield is goated.

I love the crossguard. U wait ur enemy to attack u, than u parry and u kill him in just one or two brutal hits. I agree that it’s weak against large amount of enemies, but if it wouldn’t be so, this stance will be broken. After all I love the cross guard because I feel much more “powerful”.
