Gra'tua Cuun is probably my favourite of the songs created for Republic Commando. I love how it has things like the droid march worked in. Edit: after watching, I must say that my already-high expectations have been exceeded. That was epic.

Republic Commando's soundtrack didn't have to be this badass, but it was, and it did that for Mandalore.

Adding Dha Werda Verda and the accompanying undertones of the Mandalorian theme with it was just the cherry on top.

We need an extended version of 2:27 - 2:53. That chant is amazing.

I have always loved the added battle skirt to the officer armors. Makes them look like a sci-fi-fied medieval knight. Or badass in short.

During the Great Purge, the Empire sent many Star Destroyers and many other war machines. Great walkers towered above the forests of Concord Dawn. White-armored snow troopers broke into the sanctuary of Clan Wren upon Krownest. TIE fighters patrolled the skies of Mandalore as landers polluted the air of Sundari. Thousands, perhaps millions, were killed. But none went quietly. Upon Concord Dawn, warriors painted their armor in verdant greens and blacks. They were known as Kurshi Mando'ade to their brothers and sisters; tree-comrades. Like vengeful spirits, they appeared upon the branches where AT-STs strode and set mines in the mud. Upon their explosion, the Kurshi Mando'ade pounced with blades and shot. Within the snows of Krownest lay white-painted warriors, armed with longblasters. These commandoes, the Cin Kyr'am, awaited the arrival of frontline Mandalorian warriors to disrupt patrols. When the patrols were scattered, chasing ghosts in forests and snow, they moved through an area on light feet, creeping ever closer to their target, ever closer to the edge, and for solar days would work and lie in wait. Then, as the patrols were withdrawn for a rallying speech by the commander, they would sight their rifles. The commander would begin to speak, and a single bolt would arc down from the heavens and bury itself inside the Commander's forehead, searing their brain until it was little more than a dry husk. And in Sundari was war. The great archways, the palace, the walkways and airways and parks and homes, all of the places in the peaceful city sang with the cries of war. Stormtroopers refused to enter. Commanders were killed for suggesting it. AT-STs could not move for fear of hearing that deadly cry. Landers did not land, instead turning and running upon the first words of those horrible chants, those terrifying commands, those demands for a fight. No soldier could stand in Sundari, for the war cry echoed everywhere, singing from a thousand throats. Sometimes the cry differed. Sometimes, the cry took the form of shadow warriors, manifestations of rage. "Taung! Sa! Rota! Je, tii, se ta! Rota!" Sometimes, it took the form of a deadly gale. "Motir catra nau tra'cya, gra'tuaa cun het drash'yla!" But worst of all was the chant that commanded death. The Death Chant was a calling card, a demand that none could rise after the battle. To the Mandalorians, it meant brotherhood. "Sa kyr'am nau tracyn kad, vode an!" To the stormtroopers, it meant something much simpler. It meant retreat. Run. Flee. For Death walks among you. And you may be who Death picks if you do not run.

While I am excited for the second season of the Mandalorian, I will always remember that the Mandalorian chant songs belong to Republic Commando. So until that changes, I'm gonna go play said game.

There are only a few and there will probably never be more than those few, but you mix them up, add some other related tunes, and create entirely new songs that slap just as hard as the original ones!
