I discovered these models 4 days ago, I came across a simple tie fighter and loved it, I now have Poes Xwing, Millenium Falcon, Jango Fetts starship with little Bobba, Razor Crest with baby Grogu, and pre ordered Ahoska Tanos Jedi Starfighters.
I collect black series but my 4 year old got me into these when he stopped playing with the hot wheels/ Star Wars. These micro galaxies are so dope we have the Endor at at walker 3 tie fighters 1 a wing and b wing and also the millennium falcon. I’ve been wanting the slave 1
These toys are so awesome. They look amazing in my spaceship collection and I’m always hunting them down when not after lego sets. I just wish they made some changes to the falcon as there’s several versions of the falcon at this point with another on the way. I have the original falcon and the galaxy’s edge exclusive batuu version, and besides figure differences and the radar dish, they’re the exact same toy
@@superfunforce8052 the falcons cool don’t get me wrong but for the price of all the other falcons compared to the original that’s always on sale, there should be different sound effects or voices from the characters to differentiate them than just a different radar dish and characters
I recently found series 2 blind box here and managed to get the Barc speeder with clone and Stap with battle droid :) . my buddy really wanted that Sabine tie fighter and its a ridiculously over priced chase set :(
Oh yeah! That tie is crazy expensive. Although, I think they’re doing the chases the right way by not making them main characters. I noticed that Jedi Luke is coming back in a later series.
I spotted these around November of last year while I was working at a Walmart, I’d pass by them every day until I ended up grabbing one, now I’ve got 20 💀
Pretty cool, man. I didn't know you were into these. I love this line. I think it's some of the best and most exciting Star Wars products that they are currently putting out. I still have the few Micro Machines Action Fleet sets that I got back in the day, but I was never able to get very deep into any of the previous lines. I get these Micro Galaxy Squadron sets whenever I see them. I kinda hate the chase figures (you lucky bastard), especially when it comes to the little blind packs... but I know that's the Jazwares way. There are already a few sets that I want but I've never even run across, like Bo-Katan's ship and the snow speeder, so let me know when you run across stuff. I'll do the same, when it comes to Original Trilogy for you. I'm not trying to be a completist, but I've been picking from every era. Other than the OG stuff, I love The Mandalorian, and I have two of the different Republic gunships from the prequels. Are there any in particular that you've been looking for?
That’s awesome that you’re into these too! At the moment I’m probably only looking for the R2 in escape pod, but that’s a rare in the scout class. Oh! And the Endor Speeder Leia. Other than that, just waiting on the upcoming stuff.
They can be fun, but the chase aspect is just annoying more than anything else. The stores we have been to have the same ones left over on the shelf. 8 to 12 Ventress and and another 8 to 12 mixed of AT-ST and Tie Fighter. If that continues they will stop getting them in stock.
My favorite collection that I recently bought since wednesday is the Millennium Falcon (the classic "piece of junk" Luke is referring to!) and Luke Skywalker's X-Wing (the famous starfighter which destroyed the Death star!!!), they're both fitting legacies of the original trilogy and yeah, the details were impressively studio set piece accurate and lots of screentime appearances in the movies.
Jedi Luke was the last chase/rare from series one that I got, and that was only for the Luke figure, because I'm never selling I will open the packaging!
I love the detail on the micro galaxy squadron, but the quality is just subpar. I grew up with the action fleet, and they were always made much better. I actually bought my son some action fleet toys because his micro galaxy squadron toys kept breaking.
I would spend HOURS looking at the Bespin World playset in old JC Penny or Sears catalogs, always hoped I would get one for Christmas or my birthday. NOPE. Ever the elusive childhood toy.
I wondered where you got a Luke Jedi! Love this line but it’s driving me bags that they haven’t made a Tatooine Luke and or C-3PO yet! Very glad they did make an R2-D2 and dint just make him a permanent fixture in the X-Wing. Would LOVE a Landspeeder set with a Farmboy/Tatooine Luke and C-3PO and maybe a Sandtrooper since I’m guessing they won’t include Ben and R2 from the Millenium Falcon and X-Wing sets respectively (but would be awesome if they did!). Really wish they’d make Figure packs but I guess they use those as incentives to buy the chase vehicles, but that’s a little too grandiose for me just to get 1” figures. Still, an awesome line and here’s hoping they continue and hurry up already with a Landspeeder (mainly to get Farm Luke and C-3PO - my Falcon crew is incomplete without them!).
I got that Luke at Target. Luckily in some of the pictures I saw while researching, I saw another Jedi Luke coming. Figure sets would be incredible, and playsets :D I also saw a C-3PO coming too but I forget with what set
I’ve never heard of them before. I just looked them up and I don’t know why I didn’t pick them up before. If I could get them on the cheap, I’d love to do a video on them. They remind me of army men.
@@RazHolly That's exactly what they are. That's why I love them ☺️ It's ashame that the line ended too soon after a couple of years. Spot from the Review Spot said it best back in a 2015 review of some of the sets that this line was released at the wrong time. And he was right unfortunately. You don't see a whole lot of kids wanting to play with army men styled toys anymore. It's sad.
I like that you covered all micro iterations. But action fleet is superior in scale on several vehicles including the x-wing, some but not all of the tie fighters, and sadly the millennium falcon (although no perfect falcon exists). The original three 1982 Kenner micro sets are unparalleled and I don't know why no one bothered to improve on that. I always hated the fold out heads. Speaking of scale, the old 3.75" figure Kenner sandcrawler is ideal for 1" scale figures. Lastly, "Atat" pronunciation is okay for the AT-AT because it's a colloquialism that everyone recognizes. We don't say T I E fighters. The micro galaxy AT-AT is excellent but by my estimation is about 80% of the size it should be.
I love micro galaxy squadron, but they crow about proper scaling and they intentionally scale things down all the time. The bad batch havoc marauder didn't come with the whole bad batch. If you're like me and you acquired them all, they don't fit in the vehicle together. Plus you didn't even get a gonk droid. My action fleet gonk droid doesn't fit because they thought having wings that folded out at the same time was more important than having a realistic interior. Honestly it should have been the same size as the Inquisitor ship. If the falcon was properly sized, maybe the huge battery bank would have been justified too. The whoosh sounds are fun for two days. I don't know why micro galaxy squadrons gonads shrink when it comes to making something bigger than a speeder bike. I love 1" scale because I can have 20 tie fighters against a group of multiple x,y,b,a wings. I can have a realistic representation of tattoine and put it in a box when I'm done instead of taking up a room, with one of everything.

Thei line needs to be rebranded as Star Wars Microgalaxy so they can make playsets and figure packs in weapon/light saber action poses. Dont understands the point in making troop transports and not having figures to fill them. I do love and collect this line but it needs figure packs, especially troop builders.
I completely agree! We need those figures and playsets. It feels like they’re leaving money behind. So many people would more. Plus, Star Wars is more than just vehicles.

Kenner's old Star Wars commercials were awful. Kids playing in them would say things that weren't related to the movies or make the figures do things that contradicted their personalities. The actors seemed to know nothing about Star Wars, almost like Kenner hired them randomly. The impressions of the characters were so bad. The audio in that "Bespin World" commercial is so distorted you can barely hear what they are saying. They always used that cheesy music in every commercial instead of Star Wars' theme.
Oh man! That’s what I love about the commercials, except the terrible sound. They always make me laugh and think the same thing about the actors. Just bizarre.
