I remember years ago when the exhibit came to Chicago, you literally had guys crawling all over the display case taking reference photos to use in building their models of the Falcon.
I never realized that there where so many little decals all over the Millennium Falcon. I'm doing the Fine Molds 1/72 scale right now and have decals left over from other Bandai star wars kits that I will probably use on it now after seeing this.
I must thank you profusely for uploading the first video. I had no idea this wondrous place was in CA. I was able to convince my parents into taking a trip down there. Time will pass the slowest it ever has for me from now to Saturday. Thank you! Wish they lit them up, but I understand why they didn't. I almost feel sorry for the kids, some of them probably had no idea what they were seeing.
I watched the video for the album "OST John Williams - Star Wars The Force Awakens (2015, 24-96)," Star Wars music. It is something!!! Class! Simply stunning experience! Music to the place of your best! Thank you for the video!
I saw these pieces in Huntsvillle Ala. I hope the lighting is better in Santa Ana. I was really upset. Very, very low light and no flash photography allowed.
That's what they said, but the attendants had little high power led flashlights that they could use to light it up for you if you really wanted to see part of them good. Didnt make much sense.
@TableTopPainting101 Santa Ana, California. I think there's only one or two more exhibits and that's the end of it. search star wars exhibit and you'll track it down.
UV is certainly damaging, but I don't know why they would turn the house lights down other than to create 'a mood'. Every time you see a video of the lucasfilm garage where they are all stored, there are full lights on, so it can't be any 'scientific' rationale.
