jx592 This one is stock, however I have weathered it since this video was done. i'l post a brief video review Wednesday night so you can see what it looks like.
jx592 This is the updated version from 2004 NOT 2008 I know because I paid $7 dollars for one new at Wal-Mart in 2004. You are thinking of the 1995 release, from POTF 2 .
Had this Falcon when I was little, but I got the release that came with figures. It was nice to make sense of some of my childhood memories when I looked those up, cause I remembered having those figures, but for a long time I was unsure of where they came from. I usually remember pretty well when I got figures (birthday, Christmas, reward for good grades, etc.), but with the ones that came with my Falcon I had forgotten where they came from.
@@rockberteins No sorry I don't remember. I had forgotten the figures even came with it, so whatever accessories they may have come with I don't remember at all.
I bought the POTF Falcon because I was collecting POTF figures, but it barely fits any of the figures in that line. I sorta wish I'd bought this one instead because of the modified cockpit and the lightup engine is really cool, but I think the POTF one _does_ have a nicer paintjob.
The OTC version has pieces that will crumble eventual. The table, gunners seat and ramp support rods are all made of a bronze plastic that doesn't hold together long. Bronze and gold plastic just plain suck. Google gold plastic syndrome to know more. If you want the vintage falcon mold, I suggest the POTF2 release from 1995. All the parts mentioned above are made from black plastic. Plus you can actually open the cockpit and see the dash. It's not attached to the top and has better play value imo.
BIGG STAN HARRIS - about $500 ...Lol.. I just picked this one up on EBay for $50 and it's almost complete..it's 21" bow to stern and 17" port to starboard, it does not have all the interior detail that the legacy version has which is much larger at 29" bow to stern. But it still has awesome lights and sounds and looks good on display...do your homework before you spend "legacy money" Good luck, Cheers
Just fixed mine up and found all the parts! Jeez I still can’t believe it like they were scattered in random boxes. Just glad my childhood toy is restored
$70 bucks seems like an awful lot to pay for this. Just splurge and spend the extra money to get a stellar toy that's light years ahead of this one. This one is actually from 2005 I got mine from Walmart for $7 bucks.
