A bounty Hunter game where you could make your own character would be mega fun. Like Skyrim or something

This looks pretty decent. We can fly a ship which you can't even do in Jedi Survivor (even though I love that game). I hope the story is great, with good characterization and an plotline. As well as having decent systems and mechanics. Open World works well with Star Wars so it only makes sense.

Even if it feels very similar to Jedi, this is awesome. Give me another we’ll done storyline that weaves in and out of the main storylines of the era. Explore that bounty Hunter or scoundrel persona and develop the character right - let’s GO.

We need a game we can choose the role we play in the Galaxy.

Personally I’m very impressed by the soundtrack of this! Kevin Kiner, Ludwig Göransson do some amazing work for the Disney series but this really feels like some OG John Williams stuff! Also the HUD designs have a cool retro/Star Wars logo vibe with the yellow lines around the Quest name etc. As for the game itself it looks FANTASTIC! To good to be true even, can’t imagine the game actually releasing with this level or realistic graphics, number of NPCs being active 😅 I hope it will but I guess it’s more a tech-demo show off Main character doesn’t bother me in any way either, she seems fun, modern SW way but in a fine way! I’m sold on the Battle droid and Nix 😅 I already prefer this over Jedi: Fallen Order, the open world gameplay speaks more to me

I'd like to see a Star Wars game that focuses on a Sith Lord who practices in Sith alchemy and works on the undead. Kind of like the Death Troopers book or the Red Harvest book. Something that is horror and supernatural.

Man, this looks good. Don’t like getting my hopes up in games anymore, but this looks good. I actually like not being a Jedi in this game, we just had Jedi Survivor, why not let us play as a scoundrel type rouge, love the slight choice making! Hopefully it has some decent outcomes in certain scenarios and quests!

Def gonna play this game. Idk why people aren't gonna give it a chance. I just wanna play it for the open world experience. Wish it was a customizable bounty hunter is the only complaint i have with the game so far.

I get that you prefer games focusing on the force (I do too), but I love having variety and it seems like a fun alternative.

A GTA/Red dead style open-world/open-galaxy Star Wars game is honestly dope af. Definitely a different type of game to the Jedi games (which are God of War style Star Wars games)

I'm glad to see it's not all lightsaber play. That gets a little repetitious. All the parkour gets old too. There needs to be other ways to navigate around. It looks like she does have some Force powers. Maybe she will delve more into her powers as the game progresses. Star Wars is not all about Jedi. It's nice to see other aspects of the universe. They can explore the universe without messing with cannon. It looks good. I will definitely be playing. Thanks for sharing.

Totally agree with SWT, open world is nice but it would be much better if you could fully customize your character and make your own class like bounty hunter, scoundrel, jedi etc

It makes me wonder how many really good enemies the empire has that just puts a dent in their plans. Seems like everyone can counter the empire so easy 😂

If this game had character customization, I would've loved to play as a BX Commando or a simple B1 droid exploring the galaxy

It's kind of a Han Solo fantasy fulfiller. One of several character archetypes in the galaxy. If it's not your preference, that's totally understandable, but there are and will be plenty of opportunities to play other star wars games that fulfill other star wars fantasies like the Jedi series with Cal and potentially other force/lightsaber centric games or games where you play as a bounty hunter etc. However, this game really looks to be nailing that immersive, open star wars feel with the environments, planet variety, vehicles, space travel/combat, sounds and music. To top it off, if you ARE into the scoundrel and underworld parts of star wars, it looks like this game is going to hit all the right buttons. Not to mention the game mechanics that appear to be present and a main focus likely work best in a scoundrel game. Open world Jedi or bounty hunter games would probably function much differently and I'd love to potentially experience all those types, but this game certainly looks like fun to me. Still early and a lot to learn, but simply the reputation and wanted systems look really cool, the meaningful choices you can make that blend into those systems look cool, the seamless planet to space orbit to hyperspace to space orbit to planet looks cool and immersive, and the explorable planets look plenty and beautiful.

As someone who bought Fallen Order and Surviver day 1 and love it i think this game is looking really promising. The design and world details actually looks better than jedi survivor. About the people hating eh… i bet if you put Boba or Mando instead of her people would go crazy because nostalgia is hell of a drug and love a universe the size of a grape.

I'm definitely more hyped for this than Theory. This looks awesome and lightsaber stuff all the time can feel a bit boring sometimes, especially when there's so much more in the Star Wars Universe. Looked interesting to me. And Kay looks cool too. His is chat was unironically kinda toxic.

I think it's fair to say that there is nothing special about the gameplay we've seen - nothing that immediately makes me excited to play it.

Imagine in 6 years EA acquires Ubisoft and they make a Kay Vess/Cal Kestis crossover game.

Thats why they picked this to take place in between esb and rotj. Not really any other jedi or sith other than luke and vader

To appease everyone really think they should let you 1. create a character like in hogwarts , you can pick between female, male, alien . then they avoid all the back and forth with the nomal star wars fans that don't care, and both extremist sides. but all in all looks really cool

I wish they have some character customization available. They could do something like jk3 where Jaden Korr can be male or female depending on your preference and even different races. I don’t think it’s actually going to be a feature but there’s always hope I guess.

Looks better then expected, and Ubisoft have made amazing games in the past with one of the best storylines in gaming history so I’m happy with this reveal

This is what I wanted for a new star wars game playing as a character who isn't a jedi no lightsaber or force powers just a blaster dont get me wrong fallen order and survivor are great games but its good to try something different its still star wars and the story of star Wars the Empire and all that stuff im very excited for this game

Honestly I usually side with theory but this looks really cool. It does scream red dead and assassins creed which is kind of lame but also really cool at the same time. Hopefully it has a story and mechanics that keep you in tune with the game

It looks promising and I'll give it a try but to be honest, I miss being able to create my own adventure. SWtOR does that a bit but there really hasn't been anything as expansive or immersive as Star Wars Galaxies - so many paths to choose from(Jedi, pilot, creature handler, musician) and professions to take (architect, tailor, bio-engineer); the economy was purely driven by the players and it was truly a unique experience (until the NGE changed it completely). The planets were open world and vast (Tatooine, Naboo, Corellia) - it was so fun. An updated version of that would be so much more interesting to me.

I like the criminal underworld. Too early to judge, but if anything give us a cad bane or boba fret story in the early days of the empire

There are so many great female characters in Star Wars, why the need to be so toxic about women on protagonist roles? Leia, Padme, Ahsoka, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Bo Katan, Dutchess Satine, Mon Mothma, Asaj, Fennec Shand, Mother Talzin... All great characters all in their unique way. I have absolutely nothing against they doing a game with a female han soloish character. The game looks great and feels like a scoundrel version of the Cal Kesti's Fallen order games.

Hopefully once you complete the story you can customize your characters appearance so you aren’t limited to playing as this chick

Seems like they utilized dev team from Beyond Good and Evil 2 to work on this; seamless ground to space travel, planet to planet travel was all being worked on and showcased during its development like 5 years ago. Also fits the space pirate theme. Now we just wait if ship will be customizable

My problem is not the fact the protagonist is a woman, it’s that she’s the same old brown haired human woman that Disney has consistently given us over the years. Rey, Jyn Erso, Iden Versio, etc. A woman character is fine but why not an alien character like a Twi’liek or Chiss?

This game looks so unique and exciting. Couldn’t be more excited for it! We need more Star Wars games like this

This game could be GTA but star Wars and from the gameplay I don't think that's far from what they are trying to do. I hope that they at least think about making an online mode. Because a star wars version of GTA / RDR online would be amazing

Worst reaction I've seen in yeasr and specifically on this trailer. Is this evena Star Wars channel? I've seen dozens of reactions even of Ubisoft haters and they all praised the game (even loved the character more then Cal). This dude was like "jedi fallen order skin" and "why they showing this mission": did he felt from the bed this morning. See more footage? Dude it's a 10 minutes gameplay on a game coming next year maybe, is he tripping? He saw the video wasn't on 4k and didn't want to change setting, he just wanted to hate. Oh and L chat, they can't even make their own judgment

This has a lot of potential imo. It's still a Ubi game, so I'm very hesitant, but I'm optimistic as well. I've been wanting a game like this for a while and thought we'd never get one after 1313 and Project Ragtag both got cancelled. That said, I can't help but laugh about everyone saying you can go from ground to space "seamlessly".
