I’m so tired of this ”quirky scoundrel with a good heart” archetype that the main character seems to be. I feel like every other game and film has it.

These prices are ridiculous. Not long ago these tiers were 10$ apart. Base game was 60$, Gold 70$ and Ultimate 80$. Now it's double the price for the best edition, that's some bullshit.

Knowing modern Ubisoft games, your own Millenium Falcon will probably have a stamina bar.

Can't wait to do the "clear out base and raise flag pole" type of mission 3 million times while having a boring slog of a grind for XP and equipment that makes me unable to do story missions unless i chuck out 300 dollars per level upgrade and 200 dollars for new gear and weapons and every story mission has a 10 level gap between each other. Also i'm betting that these "outlaws" are just gonna be loving rascals with strong code of honor and hating the Galactic Empire for being an oppressive regime because neither Disney nor Ubisoft have any balls to depict the "outlaws" in any believable manner or have any grey conflict because got forbid we have a story that doesn't revolve around excessive nostalgia for the original trilogy. Seriously can't we at least have a nostalgic story based on the Legends continuity in some capacity?

The fact that people rolled over and started paying $70 for games by companies that have been releasing flop after flop after flop after flop is absolutely insane to me. So glad indie games are a thing.

Ubisoft has a terrible track record so far: •Avatar was mid •They have made The Crew 1 unplayable even though people paid full price and are now revoking PC licenses •Skull and bones is a failure And yet they expect us to pay $70-$130 for their products 🤡

The cheapest way to play this game: - pay $18 dollars to play the game and vow to cancel in 1 month - forget to cancel and end up spending $200 after months of going "dammit, I forgot again" Maybe the best decision would be not to play it. It's ok to miss out on certain things, nothing bad is gonna happen to you if you ignore this.

$130 dollars for a story about Ma'am Solo, fighting horrible, awful males all across the galaxy with her square jaw, female friends, and lame comedy. Basically, it's a Disney Plus show, where you get to defeat the "Space Patriarchy".

Along the way we lost a mandalorian game, a darth maul game and a boba fett game for this. Dude this looks terrible.

The pet/droid sidekick for every star wars main character has been overdone to death at this point. From R2, to R4, to the BD8, to the one in Jedi Fallen Order, to Baby Yoda, to now this pet. I get why they do it ( so kids could buy them), but good lord has the pet/drioid side kick been overdone.

I just don't understand why they can't just give us a single-player open-world Star Wars RPG that gives the player freedom to create their own Character and have multiple-branching class systems (Force User, Mandalorian/Commando, Brawler Echani/Teras Kashi, or Stealth Smuggler/Bounty Hunter). Hell, even add in Co-Op for 4 players similar to Borderlands, Payday 2, and Helldivers 2, while the setting is on the Outer Rim during an early galactic empire versus the proto-rebel. Have several planets for contention between the factions, and add a tremendous amount of story quests alongside branching narratives.

Making an open world Star Wars game with no character customization is the dumbest thing to me. Let us have the choice on who we want to be and how we want to develop our character, I’m sick of these new gen developers capping us.

Watch out for those space headwinds and make sure to stock up on space coconuts to feed your ship!

no doubt somewhere at ubisoft they have a rejected pitch for a far cry style game where you're a former republic commando doing guerilla warfare against an occupying evil imperial commander on a new planet and making allies with local rebels then at the end of the game you group up with the rebel alliance and take out the commander's star destroyer as he tries to flee the planet to get reinforcements. like you can apply ubisoft formulas to star wars and probably make it work. this game feels very strange to me like this pitch came from outside then they are applying asscreed and far cry elements to it while disney is probably telling them "make it look like Jedi Survivor, that's how we want star wars to look in video games moving forward" and ubisoft is having trouble making that work because they've fired their whole animation team seven times over

I actually like the core design of the main character she reminds me of Ellen Ripley who we all know is one of the most badass characters ever. But for some reason because Ubisoft sucks they managed to make her look and animate like a puppet. I love star wars but hate Ubisoft and this looks mid as hell and the pricing is crazy. I wish we were able to make our own character even if that character has a preset background.

Before Disney drove Star Wars over the cliff I would probably been super excited. Now I just feel nothing. I still hope the game turns out to be good...but man some characters, including the main character, just look weird. I'm definitely going to wait on this.
