In this Star Wars Outlaws gameplay news update video we breakdown the confirmation that Star Wars Outlaws will be featured at the Tokyo Game Show next week and what it could possibly mean for the game. Last video, we broke down the details of the new Star Wars Outlaws gameplay patch and the new details about the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass Story DLC. All of this new information was thanks to a new interview out of gamesradar! Recently, we broke down the new Star Wars Outlaws PC patch and its potential implications for Star Wars Outlaws gameplay updates on PS5 and Xbox Series X. We also discussed the new Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass Story DLC Key Art that was released and gives us our first real look at Hondo Ohnaka!
Earlier this month, was our Star Wars Outlaws spoiler free PS5 review video where we provided our honest thoughts and opinions on Star Wars Outlaws open world gameplay, PS5 gameplay, story, graphics & performance, planets, combat & stealth, customization, and more after spending more than 40 combined hours with Star Wars Outlaws on PlayStation 5. Last week, we had an open world gameplay news update video where we broke down the new Star Wars Outlaws Akiva open world gameplay and customization details! We also broke down the reputation system in Star Wars Outlaws in a recent video and why it is a game changer for the gameplay experience in the game!
Last month, we had a first impressions and hands on preview news update where we revealed brand new Star Wars Outlaws open world gameplay and provided our first impressions and hands on preview for Star Wars Outlaws! In that video we discussed the open world gameplay, customization, reputation system, side missions, syndicates, combat and stealth gameplay, and much more! We also discussed how this Star Wars Outlaws gameplay compares to the Star Wars Outlaws IGN First Tatooine open world gameplay.
Star Wars Outlaws is the upcoming Ubisoft Star Wars Open World game made by Massive Entertainment. The Star Wars Outlaws release date is currently set for August 30, 2024 on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi where players will become Kay Vess, a clever scoundrel in the galactic underworld. The article from Star Wars states that the Star Wars Outlaws story will feature Kay “looking to attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen, all in an effort to start an new life”. Although Star Wars Outlaws is a new & original single player story with exciting new characters, we still got some familiar Star Wars planets & characters in the new trailer. This includes: Han Solo frozen in carbonite, Jabba the Hutt, Crimson Dawn, Pyke Syndicate, Canto Bight, Cantonica (The Last Jedi), Tatooine, & Kijimi (The Rise of Skywalker). We have partnered with Ubisoft to produce this content.

Finally rolled credits on Star Wars Outlaws after 65 hours. Loved it. Easily my favorite game in years and one of my favorite Star Wars games ever.

I'm just shy of 61 hours of gameplay, and I beat the main story a couple days ago. I hope if there's a sequel, they add more tham just five explorable planets.

I was enjoying my early playthrough until I started experiencing problems with seemingly random manhunt and wanted activating as I was sneaking around my first fort. If I experience this throughout the game it will ruin the experience for me. Did you encounter unwarranted wanted and manhunts activating throughout your playthrough?

at 100 hours hit the point of no return and was not able to beat the game so going into the experts and abilities with all 9 experts unlocked it has been more fun to explore than minmax still on first play through a second is going to happen

I don’t think they’ll go to make another chapter of SWO cause this game get a lot of critics and It didn't have great sales. I like this game but to be onest, there’s a lot of things that need to be fixed or upgraded (like swim in the water😅). Btw there’are two more upcoming chapter: one for lando carlissian and the other one for Hondo Ohnaka.

I'm having so much fun with the game, a few improvements here and there, what game doesn't need that these days. I feel like the game is more of a Star Wars survivor to be honest, I hope Ubisoft brings another Star Wars game to market.

I had fun with the game but it isn't as well made as the avatar game they put out last year and feels very rushed. Marketed as an open world star wars game and then didn't meet the standards of even the basics of open world ubisoft AC or far cry games let alone GTA and saints row. Poor stealth game play dumb AI and weapon choices, you can't even ride other speeder bikes or use a weapon/punch in "public spaces". Hell you can't even shoot from the speeder unless your dead eye meter is full. Punching storm troopers in armour is faster and better than using your blaster. The wanted system is pointless. Kay isn't Gina Carano with brass knuckles on. It even looks silly and is lazy. At least use a nightstick or stun prod. Disappointed as the Jedi series at least is consistent and of higher quality. They needed to knock this out of the park and they didn't.

Gaming is in such a weird, crappy spot now days, games release and if its from specific devs, it gets hate bombed, Im not talking real critism, thats justified, every gamer should be allowed to talk about issues with games, but hate is totally different and just uneeded, haters trying to kill a game before it ever releases, just sucks for gaming in general and effects sales, whether we get sequels to games, even some that deserve them...

I disagree about the DLC. I don't want them to release it until some really good patches are released and the game is a lot more playable. I have been dealing with nothing but bugs, some of them game breaking.

I was the opposite. I hate everything Star Wars. Including the films, television series, and games. The Andor TV series was an exception because it was better filmmaking. However, I was pleasantly surprised and entertained by this video game. If the game runs poorly on your machine, turn the ray-tracing crap off. If you don't like the gameplay, at least try to finish it, because if you do absolutely everything, it's only 100 hours. The two expansions will add 40 each, at the most. As long as you understand that it's a puzzle-like, stealth adventure, with mini-games. It's not a shooter. That's the first thing that throws people off. They get bombarded with puzzles and then they get mad.

No, they said the first will be Fall and the next one will be in Spring. Fall starts Sept. 22 and ends Nov. 30

It’s a good game with a lot of bugs, just completed the story which was pretty good, kinda wish there was more incentive to get credits other than upgrades and collectibles. Why anyone makes a “open world” game without a stamina bar these days is beyond me 😂

The only big controversy of ac is that a black Japanese/African man is a samurai (even though he was the bodyguard to the emperor and it would make sense for him to be samurai.) The stealing of art and mandarin language characters instead of Japanese are minute points. Whereas Outlaws has had quite a lot of pushback

im at 55 hours of gameplay and unfortunately the game could be much much better, i thought the reputation status thing would actually mean something but honestly it only serves as a difficulty option. meaning if you want to have ab easier time just have a good or excellent reputation and the game is basically on easy. while poor or bad reputation makes it annoying to try and do simple task by just throwing enemies at you every where you go, not really innovative. the "pirate camp events" are low effort! Lifeless face animation! This game would have been great on the PS3 back in the day but for a PS5 game its seriously lacking. the combat is terrible, why can enemies shoot me forever but when i pick up that same weapon i have a limited supply of ammunition? I really wanted to love the game and not just because i spent $130 but because i love star wars but sadly i still rather play other star wars titles.
