I genuinely feel like, across the years, Ubisoft kept pushing away all their most talented animators for various reasons. Ubisoft used to have some of the best combat animations in games even in their titles that didn't have the best gameplay systems.

I hate it when Star Wars has some random human with a pistol be able to take down tons of trained soldiers with armor and tech with barely any effort

god the takedown animations are so bad and the AI is borderline brain dead. how are people content with such mediocrity from these companies nowadays. people paid over a hundred dollars for this game, this is embarrassing

im willing to believe she could knockout an officer in a punch or two, because they're not wearing any armor, y'know? like its not unreasonable to assume she's probably decently strong and in shape- but a stormtrooper? they're wearing full armor, how the hell is she hitting them that hard, like again im NOT against it but at least have her the animation look more....brutish?? idk, im excited to get the game eventually.

Man this game is not good. Sloppy animations and terrible AI, always the ingredients with Ubisoft. Such a shame.

Did anyone have higher expectations? 😭 Swifty's gameplay is nice but something about this just seems... clunky. Honestly just got rid of some of my hype for the game, think I'm gonna give ghost of tsushima a second playthrough and wait for this to be on sale.

When I throw a grenade in the center of an enemy cluster and 1/3 of them atleast survive if not more but any normal human enemy dies with a smack of her hand lmao. Could atleast make it some violent pistol whips with her blaster lmao.

No sound when running, punches through armour like she has superpowers, enemies are blind. Truly an "amazing" game. This implementation of stealth mechanics might have been okay almost 20 years ago, but now it's a fucking disgrace.

I wish Ubisoft would try just a little harder

the takedown animation on this game looks so stiff and unatural i actually struggled to finish the video why does she take so much time to punch someone why does she use the side of her hand so much and why does it look like her movement are so random like at 9:52

However, since 2017-2018, Ubisoft has lost the development capacity to make great open world games. It would be better if Ubisoft gave up on the open world genre and tried something like A Plague Tale: Innocence or Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. At least I hope this game is better than Skull and Bones. 0:12 The takedown motion is a bit boring. At least it would be nice if they gave the protagonist a special weapon like Aiden and Marcus.

I watched this video wondering if it would change my initial thoughts about the game to see it played at the highest level. Unfortunately, it doesn't - and if a Swifty video can't get me excited about a game, it's not happening. Our host's skills remain undiminished, however.

Honestly this game isn’t really bad though. The stealth takedowns are not that great but it’s a decent game. Not perfect but decently fun. And that’s fine by me. Can’t wait to play this game once I’m home

This game is Watch Dogs minus hacking but plus pet and sliding. Movements and finishers look exactly the same.

Looks fun but the family friendly takedowns are ridiculous. Such crazy video game logic where the 100 pound girl can knock out a grown man with a full suit of armor. Like bruh you could have added a knife or SOMETHING to the game to make that more believable but then they'd have to up the rating. Maybe I'll check it out idk
