Why? Why is throwing a trench coat on a BX series droid commando cool? And since when are trench coats impervious to blaster fire? (3:00) The more I see, the less impressed I am. I do think, offline, with mods this game may have some potential but I trust Ubisoft -10%
Game looks pretty good. I don’t care about facial animations, and the combat looks mid, but the world design and traversal looks cool. The story has potential if they do it right. I like the way you have to find experts to unlock new skills too. I’ll wait for reviews, but I’ll probably buy it.
Feels like FryCry with extra Battlefront + Starwars Republic skins. Also using the top end PC to get those graphics really shows that it's not worth it for the average player at home. Also also there is already one DLC available to purchase and the game isn't out yet, with a second to be released shortly after release for an additional mission type??? Yeah nah, I'll pass. Yeah nah, this is just a cash grab.
Oh great, another game where everyone is going to complain about “facial animations” until the game gets run into the ground. It’s Andromeda all over again. Thanks to all you critics, I spent 100 bucks on a deluxe edition just for the devs to drop the whole project. Never saw my DLC. Over “facial animations” that literally never even phased me through my entire play through. I swear gamers are the whiniest most entitled babies on the face of the planet. Nothing will ever be good enough for you children.
Every human character in this game looks like he/she either (1) had a stroke, (2) had a botched botox job or (3) is an escaped wax mannequin from Madam Toussaint. Main character hairstyle is so old that it voted for Nixon back in 1960s, and the lip sync makes me wonder if 80% of conversations are internal monologues and/or telepathic.
I’m really excited for outlaws. Looks really fun and I have been hoping for a ground to space Star Wars game for ages😢(idk where my other comment went XD).
The protagonist looks so ugly, why can’t women be good looking anymore in gaming. Aside from that the combat looks very anticlimactic and meh compared to the Jedi games, I disagree with your point about the space stuff I person think that’s the best part going for this game being able to travel from planet to planet.
Not too interested, its from Ubisoft; AAA (or AAAA if we count Skull & Bones) game studio, which I generally don't support any more. Then there is the fact it is StarWars and while I loved many of the old games "The Jedi are evil from a certain point of view", so SW games that interest me are in very short supply.
Space combat looks very similar to the starfighters in Battlefront 2. Which isn't necessarily bad but a bit more depth would've been nice. I understand that's not the selling point of the game though so I'll give it a pass.
To me, this is like playing with action figures as a kid. You just project your imagination into what’s happening. Action figures don’t need to be totally realistic, and for me neither do these human character faces…
Kinda looks painfully normal. It looks decent, seems like gameplay is decent, etc but at least from what I've seen from everything nothing looks like... crazy cool to entice me to think that it's definitely gonna be great. I do hope the combat was set to "journalist" for these fights though. It looked way too easy, especially in space. Just turns into another "hold brake, rotate, shoot at leading reticle." I definitely see what you mean on how the humans look. Her hair almost looks like hair that got modded in rather than one that was crafted for her from the actual devs. I'm wondering if that's hinting there's going to be differing hairstyles to choose from. Cautiously optimistic I suppose. I just really hope they don't suddenly say she becomes a jedi later in the game. A good non-force sensitive protag is hard to come by.
Sadly no hair customization, the official Discord has a FAQ which says players will be customize: ship, speeder, gun holster, top and bottom (jackets/pants). And I agree with you, as a long time Star Wars fan, seeing a AAA Open World game about it feels like it should excite me, but everything I see just seems... okay, like it will be an even 7/10 somewhat pleasant time
