unbelievable! 1000 likes! Also another scenario: the voice actor reads the script, but there are four blank space missing for an error. And he is just: ok, this is a LoNg AnD weiRd wORd
He is a perfect example of some of the most evil and powerful people in the world. Usually you meet them and think “that’s it?” They’re often quirky, awkward, and can easily induce contempt. However, they are completely detached from humanity and relentless.
3:50 I absolutely love that they have two voices going for Vader, one being anakin and the second being the voice amplifier and modifier that’s built into the suit
Everyone talks about how powerful starkiller is but like vader literally stood up to a blast that DISINTEGRATED multiple stormtroopers. Infact vader acted as if it was a strong blow of wind. Give my boy vader some credit.
Vader was very strong, just not as strong as Ani. Plus if You read the Vader book the suit was designed to throw him off his game keep him Angry, weakened. Palps still feared him even after Mustafar.
I swear to God Kota is annoying as shit sometimes I love the guy but he should have shut the hell up in that moment I mean don't kill in anger bullshit literally got Galen killed
Bro Disney better create a Anakin stand alone movie about him only a couple years after becoming Darth vader. James earl jones isnt getting any younger and fans definitely wont accept a replacement for his voice
Well, he actually did want Vader to he successor eventually. In the lore,he even tried to remove Vader's suit limitations by giving him another that was superior to the normal one he wears. But Vader refused due to the fact there was a chance he would not survive the procedure. After that, Palps just keeps trying to find somone who can continue to develop after defeating Vader (For example, Luke).
He wanted someone to do his dirty work. Ironically, for somebody who destined to be the greatest Sith who ever lived and had a thirst for Sith knowledge and respect for Sith customers, Palpatine's greed to live forever and power consumed him so much that he disrespected the Sith's rule of two that had kept them alive for Millenia after the Jedi had almost exterminated him. This is very similar to the Jedi's disrespect for balance (Although unintentional) where they lost their ways and became the very thing they fighted against (Silent oppressor, adamant to change and completely unsentimental, yet arrogant)
I’ve always seen that as Palpatine genuinely being a true Sith. He will never willingly give up power but he’d have betrayed the Sith if he didn’t do his utmost to ensure whoever does supplant him is as powerful or moreso than himself
I love just how badass they make Vader in the trailer scenes, thrown through several metal walls and just gets up again, and shrugs off an attack that annihilated several squads of Stormtroopers.
I like how Lucas has said if Luke trained under Vader he would be this strong. I assume the "Unleased" effect is just in the video game. At this point George approved this and many others so perhaps Starkiller was just a what if for luke. Since Luke's last name originally was Starkiller
It makes sense as a concept, especially because Lucas has to be painfully aware that uber strong characters never get to actually show how powerful they are on screen. This is regardless of being a villain or hero because it would kill any drama that exists. Games are the one place where it's possible. The "what if" quality is what initially fed the early writers of EU stuff and continues to feed the new ones. The "what if" is both necessary and infuriating at the same time for fans who don't deep dive. Only Marvel movie I'm interested in potentially watching now is one in which everyone is 616 Universe powerful. I'm sure there are sections of Star Wars who would be mostly only interested in a movie set where the characters are all EU powerful. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it'll never happen but I can hope. Lucas has always struck me as a guy who wanted to inspire people to expand his stories but never wanted them to supersede his vision unless it could fit into his. Thus, why he keeps such control over canon/non-canon things.
@@IsaacKim oh! Ouch! Lol i can feel that burn. I'm not the biggest Lucas fan either bcuz even before selling out he did the fans dirty and got big headed with the prequels l and the many ridiculous special editions. But he does have some endearing qualities i love and a beautiful unique mind for lore and mythology, so i appreciate and respect him. But your totally right, he has no more say, and no right to complain or bitch and as heart breaking as it was/is... Everything happens for a reason. SW is moving on and even though it has some rough patches it's alive n getting better, that's what matters.
Palpatine: yes kill him and you will take your rightful place at his side Vader: wait what?? Palptine: bro dont be mad this is exactly what i did to you with dooku *vader thinks about it* Vader: fair enough
Yeah palpatine has been very open with Vader that the second it benefits him he will kill Vader and take on a new apprentice. Vader lost a lot of his value to palp when he lost to obiwan.
That is the reason why Vader wanted Luke on his side. He wanted to destroy Sidious and rule together as Father and Son. The problem is that Luke turning to the dark side would have been disasterous for Vader anyways. Dark side Luke would have taken out Vader after taking out Sidious.
I find it kind of hilarious that this was considered to be so over the top that it was taken out of the canon, yet a couple of years later, we have the sequel trilogy, which is just as ridiculously over the top.
Starkiller pulled a Star Destroyer from orbit....but Rey can't life a couple of rocks? Even though she is related to Palpatine? However, Luke can be powerful as he is the son of Anakin, but not Rey.
@@Nemo_Ayanami I wasn't really talking about Rey lifting rocks as much as the finale of The Rise of Skywalker, in which Palpatine electrifies several fleets at the same time, while his multitude of star destroyers each as powerful as the death star take off, right before Rey dies and lives and dies again after Lando randomly gathers literally every ship in the galaxy to fight the first order, all within the last 10 minutes or so. That sure does sound like an over the top clusterfuck to me.
How is the sequel trilogy over the top? I'm not even a fan of those movies, but Starkiller being created for a video game for the sole purpose of being an unstoppable killing machine is extremely over the top, and he only really served to be a power fantasy for the person playing the game. He pulled a star destroyer out of the sky. I mean, really?
"And then, like Vader, you will be cast aside." I was always the person that liked the sith and the empire but hearing palpatine say that was just cold man. It makes you wonder how Vader died. And how hard he fought to survive the onslaught the emperor surely sent his way. It also makes you wonder how many years or how much time passed by before palpatine created the "New Vader"
@@endjentneeringclub I don’t get though. Why should star killer obey sidious in this state? We later play starkiller in the dlc and fight against Luke. But why should starkiller do it? He has no reason to obey him and could just go back and kill sidious this time
@@lucaannunziata6503 why do you think that happened? His friends there were a huge distraction and liability for starkiller. Without such a thing sidious doesn’t stand a chance and would get beat like before
You know this " if you strike him down in anger " stuff is a great escape ploy for palpatine like every time. Id love to see a jedi say " aaah no problem im not angry " and then impale with a big smile on the face
Mace Windu seemed to be the only person besides maybe yoda who could've killed Palpatine without turning to the dark side and becoming the new sith lord
3:42 that’s the same music when Vader killed Palpatine and slowly began to die. I think it delievers the same impact of emotions from Vader’s perspective at this scene - he has lost an apprentice, he knew him since he was a little child, and now Starkiller’s dead. Even though they both wanted to kill each other, Vader has lost someone close to him once again
Idc what other people may think, but the first Force Unleashed was hands down my favorite Star Wars game, also one of my favorites of any gaming franchise. And on a side note, Sam Witwer’s performance as Galen Marek/Starkiller, Emperor Palpatine and Darth Maul was epic. He was born to be in Star Wars.
I just realized that Starkiller uses his lightsabers like Ahsoka from being trained by Vader, then he starts off with one and then gets two. Isn't that crazy
@@dimacsenpai3975 Yea its just some of us being older generation and noticing when these styles were used previously. It is cool though to see how styles can be similar. The rare apprentice that can utilize a style not mastered by most.
In the book, sidious cloned a bunch of blank copies of himself in case his original body was killed. He did this because he learned how to body hop from body to body, so every time his cloned body died, he would jump to another one, BUT since he is a force user, they couldn't properly clone his body, so everytime he possessed a body, it would begin to rapidly age.
@orozium well Everyone except 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of people (that is you) are glad he is not canon.
@@damianoreilly7598 well I would like to make a complaint about the ceo, head chairman, and the senate. He is harassing his employees and contractors. I mean he even threatened some representatives from some of the branches because they gave some complaint. Please fire him immediately! A local nosey worker and shipment customer
Darth Sidious is one of the worst stepfathers ever.Just read about the stuff he did to Darth Maul and Darth Vader. Kinda sad really, almost feel sad for the both of them if it wasn't for the fact that they turned into total badasses.
@@cajs9964 yup, it was going to be a huge open world with multiple planets and an enhanced light/dark side system, but Disney shut it down because they gave the gaming right exclusively to EA.
So, what if you strike him down, while being completely emotionless? Like it takes anger and hatred to make you susceptible to the dark side, but what if you just disconnected emotionally and then killed him?
F3NR1S MDF, Jedi would kill under the correct circumstance. Look at Obi-Wan with Darth Maul, Obi-Wan believed to have killed him and intended to. Another example is when order 66 was being executed, the Jedi killed many clones then.
We need a stand alone Darth Vader movie of him in his prime. I wanna see Vader walk around and just rip shit apart, Star Wars fans deserve to see how powerful Vader was on the big screen with top tier effects. The video game Jedi Fallen Order really gave us a tiny glimpse of what I’d want to see in a movie when Cal was running from Vader, tried shutting the door and he just smashed it open and started pulling the room apart.
Palpatine/Darth Sidious sure knows how to get into people's heads for a sith. Everyone saw how quickly he turned on Darth Vader, rule of two translation "These Sith Lords ain't loyal!".
@xxxtentacles Except Sidious never intended for any of that . Hence he screwed that rule by having Maul and Dooku(darth tyranus) and still lurking around Anakin. Sidious wanted all his potential rivals under his feet, when one was growing too strong he would find another apprentice to replace him (he had Dooku and Maul at the same time so the rum of two was no more already)
@Christian Dam yeah, but it's pretty gruesome tbh. Since he doesn't lose only limbs and damages his organs, he outright loses some of them, and basically becomes a cyborg. Search for the Cybernetic Reconstruction skin in the game, that's what he looks like under the armor. But compared to Vader, he can move way more freely and can use Force Lightning without damaging himself.
i like how when Vader fought the third sister he was just messing with her and it took him a good few minutes to even consider needing his lightsaber but the star killer sends him through those walls and Vader got up like “Yep.” and turned on the lightsaber immediately after
@@___-ni8vt Probably because starkiller was the closest thing he had to a son at this point, considering that he had not yet discovered luke, and thought that padme had died along with his unborn child.
I always wanted to know how darth Vader felt looking at starkillers dead body. I feel like he was truly hurt seeing him like that as he had honestly raised him since a boy, in his own dark twisted kinda way I feel Vader cared for him
That's the thing about being evil, it doesn't mean that you can't love or care about others. If all the sith had was anger and hate then none of them would truly want to be one. Unfortunately they take those traits that should be positive and twist them. In their own narcissism they would kill someone that they love just to keep from losing them.
For that to happen, Anakin wouldve needed to win on Mustafar. The injuries and suit forever stopped him from ever coming close to reaching his full potential.
@@seige8621actually in canon, he DID change it. in the vader comics from 2015, its shown that basically after his very firts mission (where he got the crystal for his new lightsaber), palpatine gave vader free reign to change the suit how he saw fit, and vader worked on it.
“He’s stronger than you know and deserves to die for what he’s done to me” “Maybe so but if you kill him now this franchise will go further off the rails then this game has already been.”
@@ems390 Starkiller was never a threat to vader or Sidious in legends. He turns good, and at the end sacrifices himself to save Bail Organa and the others. They pumped up Starkiller for the game otherwise it wouldnt have worked. It then seems weird when this guy, who can beat Vader barely unscathed then just fucking dies. It was a bit of a lame ending to an otherwise fantastic game.
@@spwicks1980Didnt the novels come after the games? Also, Starkiller was not more powerful than Vader, he managed to defeat Vader by utilisng force lightining and the environment, otherwise he would have been done for.
Sam is still the best choice to voice these two characters ... His Maul-impression is awesome and on spot! perfect! "And yet, I-I can feel his presence, so close. So close!"
You know, this was how I thought Vader was made before the prequels. Not persuaded or tempted, but rebuilt, tortured and brainwashed after getting zapped to near death by Sidious.
Ik ppl don't trust EA too much but I gotta just believe that they can do something unpredictable surprising everyone with there work on this game if it is going to be a thing. I really feel like that they wanna impress fans that's why they are getting this game made! If it is that is lol
Vader wouldn't admit it but despite his words I'm sure he felt somewhat as a father figure to Galen since he didn't know about Luke yet. I mean he did kill the boy's father and raised him and trained him. You can sort of see Anakin in his eyes looking down at Galen and I'm sure he probably feels regret for his death
The EU touched on that and had some interesting things to say. They questioned Jedi philosophy. Does it matter how you were feeling when the result's the same? He's still dead.
It doesn't matter if he's in a game or TV show Sam witwer has the coolest angry yells you'll ever here. Also if you didn't see him as the vampire Aiden in being human do yourself a favor and watch that entire series. Great watch.
What terrible writing just for exposition. Why tell the person you want to do your bidding unquestioningly that you're going to dispose of him when you're done? Unless those droids were doing a memory wipe as well, Palp's setting himself up for failure.
Palpatine literally told his new apprentice; capable of being as powerful as him that he would be cast aside when he found a new apprentice....yeah...good luck with that
From Palpatine's point of view he can't become stronger than him anymore. Tbf this is kinda great coming from Palpatine - he doesn't lie to Starkiller and is blunt about why he is dissapointed and WHY he would replace him. This does leave Starkiller to still somehow manage to get stronger and make Palps go : " On the second thought, after all that shit you still managed to become my equal? And start to surpass me? Guess I was wrong about you. When you are ready kill me and find a good apprentice."
@@soyring4382 Rey wasnt that powerful. At least not yet. Though if she was a "palpatine" or Skywalker then that would explain her connection to the force.
@@sketchman1981 it's because star killer is a kids dream like Superman in Canon Vader makes him is bitch but cause it's a video game they made it like this
@@radpan9642 in canon? Galen didn't even exist outside of the games, lol. In the games canon, Vader is as weak as he is shown in the original movies whilst Galen being somewhere between Master Jedi Luke (ROTJ) & Grand Jedi Luke (EU)
@@radpan9642 Galen doesn't exist outside the games, in the games canon Vader is weak just as he was in the original trilogy. Maybe next time you try acting like a smart fellow, you should ensure your reading comprehension is on par.
That sound of fear and terror over losing what little of your self you have in a instant when you've just been given a second chance at life is the most scariest part of this hole video. 5:25
Noo they wouldn't have had the game writers in the movie they would've had Zack Snyder and David Goyer head the film. And Ben Affleck would be in it to some capacity. So basically it would be really and backward hat wearing dude bro Snydwr fan boys will crush a beer can over their forehead and say it's awesome and "HatErS gOnA hAtE"
