Beautiful pin 👍 I have a Steve Ritchie pin too, the getaway. Ever think about putting it on location to earn money 💰. My friend earns 300 a month on 1 stern pin.
Kongs, You're right about the drains :) When I played this at the Pinball Hall Of Fame in Las Vegas, it was frustrating at how hard it was. However, I still had some fun. I'll just say, you should try the Data East Star Wars pin. It's the best one to date (in my opinion of course). I think what you're Star Wars pin needs is an animated Baby Yoda with wiggly ear action! I know, continuity and all that, but the cool factor... WOW! vgv
That is just a beautiful legit pinball cabinet. As a first mechanical pinball entry into your vaunted collection, this is a home run selection, even if you didn’t get that great a deal on it. The cabinet artwork and design is just majestic, captures so much of the classic trilogy’s ambience. It’s odd, because your review here both draws a clear contrast between this style of cabinet with the A1Up VPin Star Wars, but also reinforces the qualities those cabs do bring to the table. I mean if you put them side by side, this is obviously a much more impressive unit to look at, it looks like Las Vegas in Star Wars form, but when you realize you get similar cabinet artwork, playstyles, and the added benefit of vpin’s ‘video gaming’ elements not to mention multiple tables, those still hold up, especially given they are a fraction of the cost. Sort of like the difference between driving a Dodge Viper and a Mitsubishi Eclipse, the former is much more expensive and impressive and performs incredible, but the latter still looks cool and you can have a lot of fun driving. May the 4th be with you, Mr. Kong!
Its hard to compare the star wars vpin tables to mechanical pinball honestly. My first experience was playing SW Zen tables which have different physics and style. I was a fan, until I tried out even vpin tables based on real tables which have better physics and game play quality. Arcade1up Star Wars vpin is still a great option for casual fans of both pinball and Star Wars
@@KongsRUs Totally understood and agreed. When I was in college in the late 90’s the arcade downtown had a SLEW of great modern pinball cabinets that were so awesome, if I wasn’t playing Soulcalibur I was on them, just loved the ramps and the lights and effects, namely Medieval Madness, which I played the hell out of. Looking forward to your next cabinet sir! Go for Godzilla!!
I’m looking at maybe getting a Jersey Jack table. Really impressed with their setups. If I get a one real table it’s either that or a classic Williams/Bally table. Mars Attacks is probably my all time favorite. Only table I ever got to wizard mode IRL.
Hey B great video and the Star Wars table looks fantastic! I wonder what 1 ups new pinball tables will look like, you think they will release another Star Wars table? Maybe a pro would be sweet
Nice video....beautiful table and setup....I like Star Wars but not enough to spend that much....so IF you were to get another what would be your top 3 picks?
I’ve always worried about the replay value of a pinball after a year of owning, it looks like your Star Wars has many facets to it longevity. It looks amazing, you can’t beat the real deal with and light displays. It’s quite magical. I’ve been eyeing the T2, Indiana Jones and Batman . Thanks for the tips on getting the pro version.
Yea, there's tons of replay value as every game is different. It's super addicting and the newer pinball machines have less maintenance needs than older ones in general.
@@KongsRUs I wonder if the new pinballs are actually better in terms of gameplay? I wonder if the old ones are great nostalgia but can’t match the new pinballs or it’s a question of the overall layout that is timeless for some of the older machines? I do like the less maintenance aspect
Here's a good website that ranks top 100 pinball tables of all time. Godzilla which came out last year is ranked #1 with Medieval Madness and Attack From Mars close behind. There's a lot of new modern tables at the top of the list that are worth a try if haven't played pinball recently! I was shocked how aweome they are pinside.com/pinball/top-100
