Anakin is the chosen one even as Vader 👀 the Jedi were too self righteous to see it..but I believe the prophecy depicts the Chosen one, Anakin and Vader, as destroying the Jedi AND the Sith to bring balance. That’s exactly what they did.

I dont know how long you plan to make them react to Vader, but you could show his ability (him holding a ship down with the force, order 66) and eventually show Anakin as a force ghost showing his return to the light side.
