Something I don’t see mentioned ever is that before Kanan loses his sight, he tells Hera “I’ll see you again” as he’s leaving then regains his sight as he pushes her away 🥲
Totally needed this😂 My kids have watched these 100 times so I’ve seen a little here and there but could never really keep my attention to watch full episodes.
Im one of those people that shrugged off the animated stuff. Then I got into the books and comics, and decided I wanted to absorb everything that was canon. I was so wrong to ignore this and CW. Some of the absolute best moments in the franchise happen in these shows. Not to mention genuinely great characters that are worth getting to know.
It's mandatory viewing to fully appreciate all the live action Disney+ stuff, but I wasn't scouring the inter-tubes 🤣. Thanks so much for this compilation! 👍🏾
Thank you for all these breakdowns, I've really been enjoying them thoroughly and have been waiting for you to release these videos after every single episode, definitely made this series even more enjoyable:)
Figured what you said at the beginning but still appreciate a description of exactly what this video is. Also thanks for the chapters so I can go right to where I need to at the end. I think my favorite episode is probably Twilight of the Apprentice or Twin Suns but I'll share my favorite moments in no particular order except for the #1 spot: 1. Kenobi vs Maul 1. Ahsoka vs Vader Yes they are both 1 because they are equally as awesome, iconic, and rememberable. 2. Ahsoka seeing Rex again 3. Rex, Kanan, and Ezra fighting an old Clone Wars battle 4. The World between Worlds 5. Loath Wolves 6. Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor 7. The Darksaber 8. Ahsoka talking to Anakin/Vader in the temple 9. Ahsoka vs Inquisitors. Probably a few more I left out but just a few I could think of off the top of my head in a few minutes of writing this, show had some amazing moments and while I wasn't too drawn by the art style at first, still am not it looks pretty bad, the show itself was amazing.
I did watch the others. I will also watch this one. And the next one. The next one. I have a problem!!!!! (Chopper’s war crimes are justified. Alderon. Nuff said).
When you think about it, it doesn't matter how extravagant Sabine's armor is. At this point, anyone in mandalorian armor wondering around would raise attention
Sent this to all my coworkers before they start Ahsoka... this is GREAT here, thank you so much. I was tired of trying to explain everything in Rebels.
I already watched the separate videos so I might skip this till there’s a time to watch this. But I love that you put it together for other people’s convenience. Booom looking for this?!
Soooo, we see “Ahsoka the white” in the series finales. When we see that same interaction in “Ahsoka” (the show), she isn’t wearing white. Are we going to be revisiting that moment with the new Ahsoka?
41:36 maul is high and rey palpatine should be the rightful owner to the darksaber listen up so Darth Maul won it in combat he was beaten by obi wan he was beaten my vader and luke beat vader so luke was the owner then luke was technicaly beaten by kylo and then he was beaten by rey
1:26:56 I think it's ridiculous that people want The World Between Worlds to erase the Sequel trilogy. There's clear evidence that it's part of a continuous story. Now by all means am I defending the big issues of that trilogy, but I think the Sequel era needs time to gain back the fans trust and appreciation. Imagine a world where Clone Wars never got the opportunity to expand the Prequel era. I love the Prequels but I have to admit those movies have issues too, even if Lucas was in full control. I appreciate Rebels for acknowledging all of Star Wars and even aspects of Legends.
32:33- I don’t disagree that Chopper is a war criminal and sadistic! But I do disagree with “he didn’t need to kill all those people”……… Did he need to blow up and then kill all 3 ships? No! But they definitely NEEDED to destroy that ship that could have ended the possible of any enemy of the Empire to grow because no one could ever escape a battle that was just too much for them!!! Very difficult to escape when you can’t go into hyperspace! And it would have been very easy for the Empire to pick everyone off 1 at a time!!!
1:06:19- Yeah……….. I know this was a bit since this came out but…….. Well, if you don’t know yet! Im definitely not going to kill your hopes!!! Or maybe you will like how completely different everything is……….. I doubt it though, if you actually like the original versions!?!
1:03:55- Yeah…… I can agree with that one! It’s one of those duels that the more you know about the story behind both Obi-Wan and Maul, the bigger the impact this fight truly has! If the watcher knows very little or none of the backstory then it looks like a very uneven and lame fight!!! But they are clearly wrong! Lol And if you also break down everything they are actually doing during the setup then it hits way harder when the first strike is performed!!! I love this part just so much!!!
1:00:06- I’m not sure what you mean by that?!? So the curse is that one that did not earn the saber, if they try to lead their people then they will only lead them into destruction! Either way, yes…. Gar didn’t win it. But that doesn’t negate the fact that Sabine did win it in combat!!! Obviously that changes when Sabine just gives it to the one in that prophecy/curse is about! Bo!!! So that’s why I’m not sure what you were trying to say here!?!
Rebels gets crap for its animation which I don’t get Yall have to agree it’s better animation style then the early season of clone wars But rebels has some amazing episodes
Ian McDiarmid saying Ezra and Ahsoka’s names is one of those things that sets Rebels as top tier for me. Idk it’s just hearing an OG actor from the OT saying now a days SW character names made me flip
About the giant kyber crystal it was going to be in a episode of the clone wars set on utapal the Jedi investigate a death of a Jedi master and finds out about grievous trying to obtain a giant kyber crystal
I’ve been watching Rebels for the first time and following Voss’ must watchlist (halfway through). Think everyone should also WATCH 303. Has lots of Maul and has great development and content
Maybe my opinion is strange but I would like to get ahsoka in form like rebels "so animation" than a form it is. For me the characters in Ahsoka just look strange and not good compared to what we saw in rebels.
I was never a fan of the animated shows, until I watched Rebels. I loved it and finished it in three days right before the start of Ahsoka. Now, I am working on watching The Clone Wars
While I am enjoying Ahsoka; i still find Star Wars Rebels (and tThe Clone Wars) so poorly done that it is unwatchable. So, I appreciate you highlighting the important plot points that impact Ahsoka.
