That was very nice and welcome to see another game report from you. Thank you for sharing. I have toughts: Comments, Possible Rules Oopsies, and Praise. Here we go! Comments: - (This one is part Praise as well.) I really appreciate that when you do something that the viewer will see as an error but you do it anyway, that you point that out in the video. Very helpful! You did this early when you had two Movement tools on the board at once. Good on you for highlighting that. But! In this case, your justification for doing it is *exactly* why you're not supposed to do it. You mentioned the situation would be very tight and wanted to see what would happen. Well, yeah, that's why you can't use two. You need to estimate, not check. I know, you play loose, and you point out the choice to ignore the rule. Yep. Totally get it. Just a comment that this is why the rule exists. - Recover vs. Recover Actions: At one point there was a question about Barris trying to key off of Lumi having three of the weird red cross/blood drop symbol and asking if Barris could trigger from those, asking if they needed to be Recovers or Recover Actions. You got it right, but it's worth pointing out that the question never comes up if you realize two things. First, there is no such thing as a Recover. There is *only* the Recover Action. Second, that weird symbol is the symbol for Heal. A Recover Action grants a Heal. There is no Recover (without the word "Action" after it) in the game. When you get that straight in your head, you see the symbol as a Heal, not a Recover/Recover Action and the question evaporates. Terminologly matters a TON in this game. This is another (like Strikes, which you guys nail consistently correctly) example of why. - At the end of the main video, there is some Meditations footage. Not sure if you just don't review your videos before posting or if the system screwed you, but either way, it's a little goof (the career video producer in me twitched, lol). No biggie. Possible Rules Oopsies: I say possible, because I could easily be wrong. - Pushes don't get to go around things. Early on, Leia Pushed *through* a corner of a building to get in range to contest an Objective. From the angle we have as viewers, it looked like she could not have gone to that spot without going through the building. Can't do that. I know you play in a forgiving way, but at some point, the rules either matter or they don't. - Tech (Echo?) went up onto a gantry and shot a Commando. You said that instead of 7 Defense Dice (5 base, one Hunker, one terrain Cover) you onyl got 5 dice. Nope. The shot from the higher elevation ignores cover *from terrain*, but you would still get the cover from the Hunker token, so six dice. Praise: - I've said before and will say again, thank you so much for respecting copyright on the music you use. You are not lazy. You are respectful. I've stopped watching some channels because they steal from the creative efforts of others. Even though I pick at your videos a bit, I do have a ton of respect for what you are doing, and that's a big part of why I watch. - Like I said above, thank you for saying "Strikes" instead of "hits." - "We checked." "Wanted to make sure you know there was nothing funky." Etc. By telling us about things that *could* be seen as missed rules or ranges, you help us follow what you are doing without questioning the validity. That's aweseome. - I REALLY like you not having take backs. For example, when you could have won if you remembered a thing Han could have done toward the end, but realized you missed it and so didn't go back ... man ... that's good stuff. Games have an element of skill. Part of that skill is remembering to do things things you can do. If every time every action were just adjudicated to be perfect, you would remove a huge amount of player skill from the game, so GOOD ON YOU for owning your own choices. Love it. - Lastly, I apprecited you paying attention to the timing of gaining VPs from the Struggle to ensure that the track and actions went properly toward the end. This game is *super dependent* on timing, Getting it wrong changes it dramatically, so it's great that you paid attention that closely. Anyway, that's that. Thanks again!

You should try Leia, Luke, trappers w/ logray, wicket or chewie and the commandos.

My main tip for Han would be to try and keep him more central and another (this one is a little more personal preference) would be to keep him as close to chewie as possible to get more of that expertise tree more often (it didn’t matter this game)

Yeah, typically I try to do that. This game, the plan kind of evolved and shifted in ways I had not anticipated

@@AegisbrandStudios it worked out for you though, I’m looking forward to the moment he clicks for you, I have had a game where he went from one side of the map to the other, taken out 2 units and flipped 2 points, he is an awesome unit when everything clicks and the dice are in your favour

I kinda wish coordinated fire : expose wasn’t a thing. Adding any condition is good, but adding an expose right before the attack is especially strong.

You are not wrong, at all. Personally, I think conditions like Expose and Disarm should be cumulative. Make it so you can apply multiple instances on the unit, and each instance removes one expertise from the next roll. It would still be very strong, but not absolutely back breaking
