Star Wars Short ┃Deleted Return of the Jedi Pilots 

Believe it or not, the reason was that they were threatened with an "R" rating. (It was highly unusual to show a female soldier dying back then unless it was a gritty document, or a violent rated "R" film)

@@kurttlorenz386 I'm not sure of what source to send. I remember this happening when it came out in 1983. (Remember, this was before the "PG-13" rating, so it would either be "PG", or "R". You are right for not believing everything you see on the internet, so don't take my word for it. And beyond that, times have changed so much, that what I said, frankly DOES sound unbelievable to someone in 2023. I fully appreciate this

@@SJHFoto I actually can believe it. I just would love a source to spread the info. 🙂 Because, I always found so weird them recording the pilots but not showing them in the end.

@@kurttlorenz386 This is stuff I learned way before the internet. I think it was less than a year after the movie was released.
