That first episode reminds me of that episode of DS9 during the Dominion occupation of DS9. Kira wakes up, looks at herself in the mirror and then goes about her day. Each day drags her down just a little bit more as it does on Omega here. This episode speak volumes on how the empire breaks people down. I think Bill Burrs character in the Mandolorian even touched this a little bit.
These 3 episodes were peak Star Wars, it is also really cool to see the animation world meet up with the Andor world in the use of the dystopian world of how bad it really is for people when the empire is at the height of its tyranny. it feels like the whole season might be giving this to us which is going to be really really cool to see. (Just wish it were at an earlier time period i thought Disney had it down with recent shows dropping them between 6 pm - 9 pm PST/EST ) cool reaction once again man.
Yeah, I love that they didn't condense episodes 1 and 3 down into one episode; they could have gone the easy, boring route of having Omega just say what she has been doing all this time through exposition, so I love that they decided to SHOW and not just tell it.
Awesome start to the season. Even though I really dislike Crosshair, it looks like he is in the path to a redemption arc which I happy for. I can’t wait to see what the season has to bring.
