8:43 I actually like this a lot better. In the HD version, after saying "What will you do with me?" Vader just stands there while Starkiller has a flashback to being betrayed by Vader in the first game. Then he force lightnings Vader, who just takes it, before jumping out of the window when he could have easily ended Vader right there since he had already stunned him. In this version, Vader makes a direct threat by stabbing the Juno robot right in front of him and then actually BLOCKS the lightning. Way more badass.
Same! A lot of the Wii version's cutscenes just worked better. I always liked the holding cell Starkiller was in compared to the HD version. Much more Star Wars-y with all the red lighting and smoke everywhere.
Until you realize that this clone (experiment 1138) was specifically engineered to be more powerful than the original. It honestly makes more sense for him to be able to take Vader down temporarily.
I think star killer escaped here because he wouldn’t actually be able to just kill darth vader right and there. Vader recovered quick and would have definitely retaliated immediately.
@@JoshEastham Ironically enough, yes. The Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Force Unleashed 2 received mixed reviews from many critics who criticized it for its repetitive gameplay, shortened time length, and underwhelming conclusion compared the first one. The version on the Wii despite having weak graphics actually received the best ratings from the critics. It was praised it for its motion controls during lightsaber combat and for having more content.
The level design stands out to me for actually being somewhat complete levels as opposed to some weird movie Frankenstein hybrid with those copy pasted halls and boxes that keep stalling progress. Always liked this version. One of the few Wii games with really responsive motion controls. I'd love a switch port. Hopefully someone can fix the grip targeting one day.
This version of the game is mad underrated! Its just a great time and one of my fav third party Wii titles! I always wished the first game on Wii had this level of in-game graphics; most of the cutscenes in that one are pretty rough to say the least.
Always loved that nod to Shadows of The Empire myself. I'm guessing this game takes place either just before the events of Empire Strikes Back, or just after Shadows of The Empire ends. Don't really think it matters, just having a little fun speculating.
I am not going to lie I love this game and this long play video is amazing but I might never watch any other videos from u but this one thanks for making it
I never seen this version before and its better than the Xbox version in my opinion. I want point out @2:24:16. That caught me off guard because it’s so unjedi-like but I love it.
He is cloaked. He has a cloaking device on that Vader gave him before the game even begins. You have to watch the downloadable content(DLC) on the XBOX version to understand. It's called Distant Thunder if you wanna check it out
Im amazed this version game actually has lightsaber dismemberment. It doesn't on the xbox/playstation version. They also made the salvation a rebel assault frigate? It was a Nebulon-B in the HD version and there were no Z95 headhunters like at 1:54:27. Just Y-Wing Spam. 2:38:35 DASH RENDAR! This wasn't in the Flagship version!
I actually had no idea this game came out on wii I thought they only did next gen this is awsome hope comes to switch I would play as got the first one
I remember getting this game on its release day, I loved it despite its flaws. Loved that it had dismemberment and I enjoyed the Smash Bros.-like multiplayer which is exclusive to the Wii-version. Motion controls were implemented flawlessly - a rare example of gyro controls that did not feel gimmicky but actually ENHANCED the experience.
Does anyone know how to do the cool special lightsaber attack that creates like a saber whirlwind and then Starkiller slams his hand down? I've been trying to accomplish that for a while. What do I do with the Wii Remote and/or Nunchuck
I'm pretty sure that's one of the special attacks you get when your combo meter is at a certain point, I don't remember which but probably either knight or master.
this version is soooo good, I didn't even know it existed, this should be remastered ngl, I mean the Dagobah section looks terrifying and teases alot, kota has his npc ally status again and more different enemies and not just a bunch of sith
@Ash21 Hey is it okay if I can take screenshots of the parts where Kota says : “A Jedi does not need eyes to see. draw instead upon the force.” And the part where the game introduces Force Sight for a TFU fanfic I’m doing? I’ll give credit to you I promise
The ps2/wii version for the first game had more pros than its 360/ps3 version. How this one. I will say. 360/ps3 has its pro. Both games in my opinion has its ups and downs. Whereas the first game was 90% better than the 360/ps3. This game is like nearly 50 50. Both have pros and cons. Being it’s combat. Cutscenes. Graphics. Missions. And so on. But this game is definitely more easy and fun. I’d give this game 40% and the 360 version 60% it’s got dlc and a better final boss fight. Plus it provides more lore to read than this wii version
Whoever was the Player here, they triggered me so much. No offense but there were so many deaths and especially in the Salvation Boss Fight, the Timing to activate the laser was so off
@@jaykay9962 I'm not offended, I was just simply saying considering it was a pain to get working in the first place. also if you read the first line in the description, it mentions it's being played on an emulator.
