For STAR WARS week we decided to redo "The Force Unleashed" on PC on ultra settings. We originally did it on the Xbox 360. We have 2 versions, which are largely the same. The only differences in the versions is that the "Dark Side Edition" has the dark side ending as well as the 2 DLC's that add on to the dark side ending. Both version have the Jedi Temple DLC which is an extra mission that was in the Wii Edition of the game. They're not meant to be two different editions that have completely different stories, but just as a convenience for you to chose how you want to watch the end of the story play out.
Set in between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, Darth Vader is sent by Emperor Palpatine to destroy a Jedi who survived Palpatine's Jedi purge and is hiding on the Wookiee homeworld, Kashyyyk. The Force Unleashed begins with the player controlling Darth Vader as he searches Kashyyyk for the Jedi. After defeating the Jedi in battle, Vader discovers a child who is strong in the Force and raises him to become his apprentice, unknown to the Emperor for several years. When the apprentice reaches adulthood, Vader sends him to kill the remaining Jedi as training for his ultimate goal: assassinating the Emperor so Vader and Starkiller can rule the galaxy together.
As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!
