We never get tired of this game. We've done it before, but with Rise of Skywalker coming out, it felt right to redo it in 4K on Max Settings. We hope you enjoy! We'll also do the Ultimate Sith Edition with the Dark Side Ending and Dark Side DLC's.
man at some scenes of your videos, the sound just disappears. It is not only in this video, but some parts of others as well. Still, I love your videos SO much but can you double check that everthing is alright before uploading a video next time? thx ;D
When Vader first sees him and says “A son” you can tell a piece of Anakin surfaced for a second. He remembered what he once might’ve had, those subtle details are what made this game so damn good
Vader said he felt the presence of a more powerful Jedi and so he thought it was kotas master which he killed years ago and so seeing the boy he was shocked for a sec
Yeah, his reaction in this version is far better than in the Wii, Ps2, and Switch version, where Vader says that line in an unamused voice while adding an "oh" at the start of the sentence.
I find it clever that Proxy's posture and walking alters based on who he's looking at or who he is trying to mimic. It's the little things that makes it amazing
what makes me so mad- is since none of this is canon, they could literally just shit Legends movies out like hotcakes and rake in a SHITLOAD of money. Legends not being canon, means people don’t need to follow any timeline or even need any prior information before watching. that also gives the director/s LIMITLESS potential to take anything from Legends and fucking run with it- man.
It’s too bad Starkiller was only in 4 games. Force Unleashed 1 and 2, Soul Caliber 4, and Lego Star Wars 3. It’s also a shame he was labeled “Vader’s Apprentice” in Soul Caliber 4 and Lego Star Wars 3.
6:27 For a split moment, you hear Anakin. You hear him wondering whether this Jedi and his son could've been him once, about whether the Order had to collapse as it did, if he, Padmé and their children could've lived peacefully. But such thoughts only give him pain, and he already has enough.
You guys gotta love at 6:35 Vaders body language shows that he doesn’t want to hurt the boy, the same when reached his hand out to show that he doesn’t want to harm him.
You can hear Vader’s slight sorrow as he first sees Galen reminding him of padmé and her pregnancy. This makes him even more lovable as his anger leaves for just a split second
if Disney was to add this in the timeline as current canon lore as a show or movie hey would turn Starkiller to a hispanic, black, or a man hating gay woman, no way they would leave him as a white dude lol.
@@zoolande-roblox-gaming9877 they wouldn't dare.. but my concern is him being live action. No way would they leave him as powerful. They'd have to nerf him considerably lol
Starkiller's arc is more interesting than Rey's Mary Sue story. He was brought to the Dark Side of the Force by Darth Vader, and chose the path of Light after being betrayed by his master/father-figure twice. Plus, his love for Rogue Shadow's pilot Juno Eclipse, in addition, the start of the Rebellion. We need another Force Unleashed game... or give him a Star Wars story!
HAHAHA no way, Galen Marek is as much of a mary sue as Rey is. Have you seen how powerful he is??? How does someone with that level of power exist in this timeline of Star Wars, but no one ever mentions him in any other media?
I just realized starkiller has the same lightning as palpatine. Im guessing the difference in color means Palpatines is stronger, or darker from the force like how lightsabers go red.
After going through Clone Wars, I can see how that could work. Dooku and other sith usually has blue lighting, Sidious and Starkiller has purple as more powerful, and The Brother as red showing how powerful he is with the Dark Side
@@JohnSmith-vq8ho I'm afraid that's not how it works in Legends Continuity. In Legends, there are two ways to get Crystals for Lightsabers, neither is Light or Dark, it just depends on the circumstance. You could either A) Make a Crystal yourself given the right materials. Or B) Find a Crystal on a planet or area rich with Crystals. Sith prefer to make their own since they don't like to rely on the Force and are denied access to planets like Illum. Jedi prefer to find their Crystals because they trust in the Force unlike the Sith. I deeply apologize for coming off as rude, I just wanted to point out the difference. I mean no ill will.
@@nickthepick8043 Ah that’s interesting, I didn’t know that! In either case, I was thinking about the canon way sith get their lightsabers. Though Starkiller is not canon. But that’s cool!
Fun fact; on the very first level, Vader cannot be killed. If his health hits zero, nothing happens and the game keeps playing. Vader is too badass to die. Except for cliffs - they will kill him. But he’s always had a problem with the high ground.
Besides just being really fun to play, this game's enemy design was top notch. Those armored Royal Guards and Shadow Guards are still some of the most badass Imperials we've ever seen.
A variation of this game should’ve been made canon. Imagine Galen, Kota, Hera Syndulla, Proxy, and Ahsoka. Galen being tempted by Maul after Cal Kestis and Merrin leave Maul trapped on Malachor V after the events of Fallen Order 2. Would be so badass!
I like the skin they chose for the final part of the game, a Jedi master skin with the sith saber and the other collected light sabers. Makes wonder what kind of Jedi or force user Starkiller would’ve been, would he still use his red saber?
The storyline of this game is actually way more cooler than most of the Star Wars movies we had. I wish we had the storyline of his game in the Life action movie or TV SHOW will be we really deserve one.
If there were a way for Starkiller to have been implemented, he could have been a recurring antagonist over the official Inquisitors who actually infiltrated the growing Rebel Alliance; being a menace to even Hera's team through sabotage and intense infiltration techniques that allude even Ahsoka Tano. But like the original Starkiller, he would have to die upon defecting the Empire. As for how he would not be mentioned, it would be possible that his last will is to not have his name be written in the books, but to at least let his actions be the ones that tell the story. Edit: As for how he would be able to pull off his feats, a price unto Galen could be that he would feel sluggish or fatigued AFTER pulling off a skill that requires tremendous amounts of concentration and energy. Even with the training under Darth Vader, recuperation is necessary after strenuous displays of strength.
i like this game more than fallen order to be honest with you,the skin changes the force lightning a better unique story, plus vader gameplay was the bonus
@@kaiserreichempireofohio834 You know this game took place in the Legends timeline of SW and to me that one is even better than canon cause the rebel alliance was a little more stronger and equipped.
@@bynxtypebeat no it was the on the Wii so definitely not 4K. This is also a newer version, gameplay and graphics look a little different but same story
Funny how this was one of the few stories set between III and IV outside of the books when it came out, and now we have four shows, numerous other games, AND two movies! It's pretty much Disney's favorite era!
1:24:08 - When I first played this years ago, my dumbass couldn't figure out the prompts, so I spent 40 minutes trying to drag down that god damn Star Destroyer.
is it just me or everyone here ingnores in 1:30:35 proxy came in as obi wan kenobi to strike darth vadder for a moment i thought it was acc obi wan wen i played the game lmao
Imagine if this was more the plot for the new movies. A secret strong af apprentice trained by darth vader as a twisted father figure, making it more like luke relationship. He could have been off the death star and had his own mini story of making the imperial remnant and looking for a way to bring back the Emperor or something. (A Kylo ren type story) of redemption and getting to know Rey and having a complicated brother/ enemy relationship with Luke. So Much depth could be done. Include a little Old republic Lore if you can Id have been sooo happy.
Though this wasn't the best, it was still enjoyable enough and this is still better then anything the Mouse can come up with. Long live the EU. Preserve it forever, boys and girls.
I know Vader lost so much of his body that it effected his Midi-chlorians but can Vader still truly hold his own against those Sith who can use Sith lightening?
Ok I know Disney said no to this being cannon but they at first said project cinder wasn't cannon and look what mandolorian did made it cannon in my head cannon I can't see how this can't be cannon
Wait a sec... Wasn't it a nighttime siege on Kashyyk? I haven't played the game in a while but... The whole battle in the night was honestly one of the most awesome openings to me. Especially the fact that Vader looked so menacing. It doesn't have the same effect with it changed to be daylight... And the fight stayed outside, with fire and burning buildings all around, right?! I'm not going crazy, am I?
I remember that too and thought I was going crazy. I feel like there was also at least another boss fight in the library of the jedi temple, a cloud city level, and some of the quick time events were different, but maybe I'm misremembering. It could be a difference between console versions because I played on the ps2 and this looks like the xbox version.
@@TheHappyWhale I remember all those too! I actually took the time to look up if there were any differences to the original and the other platforms and... unfortunately, yes. They for some reason cut out parts and edited the first mission. 😔 So uncivilized.
