The Wii versions of 1 and 2 focused more on gameplay, the PS3/Xbox versions focused on story and graphics. That's why the Wii versions are actually longer.

Agreed. I also love about the Wii version is that when Sidious say's "if even a single rebel survives..." Looks at Starkillers body and walks away. Way more powerful scene then in the Xbox or PS3 version where he says "if even a single rebel survives, this rebellion will be our undoing" hardly looks at Starkiller and just talks to Vader then walks off. It's not as effective.

ZMan1471 it’s not that it’s better, as someone who’s played both neither are better it’s that both are like opposites of each other in terms of pros and cons. And I just played thru the Xbox version for nostalgia and its apparent these differences. Obviously Xbox looks better but it’s not anything to brag about but still an upgrade Gameplay: Xbox has more varied enemies and simply do to controls is better than wii yet is more frustrating as enemies can be annoying and rag doll you and sometimes not even register your hits so they can just screw u over. Wii never had those annoying enemies and they weren’t able to rag doll u as easily The Force in wii was also overpowered as shit and what I used more than saber action Levels: Wii actually had more levels than Xbox not counting dlc. This included the Jedi temple missions and cloud city which combined with not really any major annoying enemy types were fun. Upgrades: You could upgrade powers/lightsabers/costumes in the ship which you could sorta move around not really. But the main thing was the upgrade system was a point based system from killing enemies like devil may cry not leveling up in Xbox. U could also customize lightsaber hilts but that’s a tiny thing. So basically if u could combine the two into one game it’d be an even more awesome game with a little more levels and less annoyances from varying enemies yet still challenging and fun. Oh and wii didn’t have the infamous star destroyer segment making it wayyyy betterrr

ZMan1471 Wii version was more fun, true to legends, the locations were accurate to the films, small stuff like 501st stormtroopers, you could even kill the civilians on cloud city. Idk it just felt more like Star Wars

Yes. The Force Unleashed came out when everyone was transitioning from the PS2 to the PS3 and the Xbox to Xbox 360. The developers said in interviews that the storyline, gameplay, locations and characters that appear in the PS2 and Wii versions were the original versions of the game. And that PS3 and Xbox 360 were basically something they had in the back burner and was created mainly to reach more people and to show it off in the more advanced graphics at the time. That's why The Force Unleashed looks so great of PS3 and Xbox 360, but lacks all the content, gameplay, time, and literally everything else that the PS2 and Wii offered.

Six years later, and you're getting another answer: It's because they're both wielding different stages of Force Lightning. According to Star Wars lore, Force Lightning has three different levels of strength. Blue is the first stage, which is what Galen Merek uses. Purple is stage two Force Lightning, one that Sidious seems to be capable of firing. The third and strongest stage is red Force Lightning, and I only know of two characters who are able to wield this level of power with this technique are ol' Darth D. from the Trial of Skill and The Son.

+HaloModder555 the game has awesome gameplay, interesting characters and very well story in it too. And yeah, is better than the PS3 and XBOX360 version

+Agustín Garcia Gameplay is meh. It bugs out to hell and back. The game stutters both on my 360 and PC. It feels more like a tech demo for Euphoria at times than a game. Bad hit detection, bad targeting, cheap deaths from enemies, etc. Despite the lackluster effects, its sequel feels more grounded and fun.

Why wouldn't they though? I played the 360 version first and I didn't realize how weird it was that the emperor didn't use his saber until I played the wii version, he was fighting with a guy that had beaten Vader so I dont think he would have taken the fight lightly to just go "Yeah whatever I'll just use my force powers to deal with this"
