Easily the best SW vehicle/playset Hasbro has ever done. Fit a rectangular dish, change the figures and phrases - thats what should have been issued for The Force Awakens range. Not the terrible Nerf version that was released.
I 100% agree! I was disgusted by the FA line. We bought the TIE Fighter and though the design was awesome the execution was in need of improvement and the plastic is horrible. The warped wing panels and the goofy looking figure was embarrassing for SW standards. Thanks
I guess we all have our own opinions...while yours is certainly the best Falcon, I really have loved the Force Awakens and Last Jedi toy lines, figures, and vehicles. I have the FA falcon and it is better than my original old school one I got in 1979. I have every Kenner vehicle and play set and been collecting all my life. The FA falcon and this big beast as well as original Kenner one were interestingly all actually designed and sculpted by the same toy designer as all falcons. I had seen a special where he showed himself making this one and the Force awakens one. They scaled the FA one back to the Kenner size for playability for kids. Children obviously have issues flying and running around playing with the BIG one. It is more the collector's one. Anyways, wonderful ship and great video! Just wanted to add some trivia information about the designer and my opinion about liking my FA one for what it is. I have had no warping or plastic issues either with my TFA tie fighters, or any of the last Jedi vehicles. I have seen warping on video though. They really improved big time on the Last Jedi line, figures are really detailed too. I grew up collecting the 5poa since getting the early bird box as a kid in Christmas 1977 and waiting months for my first four lol. So it's fun for me and nostalgic. Good job! I think we can all agree we will all enjoy this spring when the vintage collection returns.
Makes since. Could you imagine a child trying to fly this Legacy MF around? lol. The smaller one is practical for the use of a child. I am not familiar with the FA version. I have seen its photos I think. Ill have to check it out.
And not make excuses to over charge the price point like they do today. If they reissued this toy today Hasbro would be asking $300 retail. I bought this toy in 2008 and the asking price was $ 150. Hasbro is much more greedy now.
I have this, have had since I was a kid, easily one of the prides of my collection. People walk in my room and they say "WOW! That Falcon is huge!!!" Why the hell can't they make badass things like this anymore?
I walked into a flea marked to kill some time, and there it was! Flash back and had to buy it. Beautiful and so detailed by Hasbro. Puts a smil on my face every time I look at the Falcon. Thank you for a good review👍🏻
I just got this at good will for 15 bucks saw it and quickly grabbed it another guy seen it at the same time and we both ran for it lmao came up on a good find :)
It's smaller, to the point where Han has to lay down on a bench to fly the ship, it's landing gear doesn't move, and there's barely any room for the characters to stand in, Chewbacca can't stand inside the ship unless it's open. Is that worth the $100 they charge for it?
Haha. Wow! I don't blame you. That is a bit high. Now that Solo is coming out soon Han Solo and MF merchandise prices are probably up. Can't wait until Jabba's Sail Barge arrives next year. Thanks!
Thanks for this. I'm about to buy one with my tax return and I wanted to see the details. Very informative, I'm going to use extra spray adhesive to apply my labels.
@@Shadow0fd3ath24Problem is that if the falcon was real, there wouldn't be room for 2 gunner seats plus that long tunnel! The ship is one deck thick. Star Wars AND Star Trek are pretty good about fitting the inside and outside of the ship's together...*mostly*...but sometimes they have interior spaces that can NOT fit inside a ship of the size shown onscreen. And the gunners seats on the Falcon is a biggie! In Star Trek: The Next Generation, 10-Forward is way to large to fit on the edge of the saucer - in the original design the saucer edge, top and bottom windows aren't supposed to be the height on one human adult.
This is one of my most favorite Star Wars things. I really need a Boba's Slave 1 and have it hung behind the Falcon, but the scale is a little too big to show realism. Trying to find the right one.
Nice! I had chances but was foolish not to take them. This one $300. But I had bought one for $250 years ago that was stolen off my porch after UPS dropped it off. I didn't get a refund. So in a way I paid $550 after all is said and done. But it is my favorite out of all my collection. Thanks
we can see this play set is made before the solo movie cause the excape pod is where you says it was the gargo area , ibetween the 2 edge front ( its has been shiped and so no never got a new escape pod for it but i think this is the best millenium falco i saw so far ( i like the cocpit has 4 seat , wish was like that in the movies,

I used a glue stick and applied a bit before applying the stickers, as the adhesive was dry on mine.
A wonderful review, well worth the wait. What an AMAZING toy! It leaves every other toy in the dust! I remember that I saw this when it was on sale at ToysRus when it first came out. I wish I had gotten one then. THANK YOU so much for such a detailed review. Up to your usual standard. I enjoy your posts so much. Best reviews on RU-vid! By the way, I notice that there are proper, die cut , replacement stickers for this toy for sale on Ebay. I wonder if they would stay put...or perhaps you could glue the old ones on with some decal glue used by model makers?
Thank you again for the kind words. It is worth the troubles I had to go through to finally get one. I too felt regret for not having purchased one when I had the chance when it was offered at Toys R Us for around $120 here in NV. Really appreciate the compliments. I have used the replacement stickers before and they work well. I used one on my ESB OG M. Falcon. But it is more desirable to find the ones that are precut. Thanks again !
Christopher Williams /the next best toy from hasbro would be the newest AT-AT not the at-act/ with all the lights & sounds with the speeder bike in the back, either the hoth or the endor, both or the same other than one has a brown bike & mud on the feet (paint), & the other has a white bike & smow on the feet (paint) also a awesome vehicle👍👍
I know... right? Sorry it took so long. haha . I wanted to wait until the background and area (in the room) was right. Now that summer is coming to a close I can roll up my desert background and move on to a background more fitting for the coming Fall season. Thanks!
Dang I wish they made this when I was a kid. I mean there’s nothing stopping me from getting it nowadays, but 6-10 year old me would have FLIPPED over this.
used to have wet on transfures in the old days insted of sticker. better really thay never fell off. corse you couldnt get them off ever with out ripping them, but least thay stayed put.
I only saw it in person once and was blown away. The USS Flagg looks magnificent as well though Ive never seen it in person. In my personal collection this MF would be my favorite. Do you have the DEFIANT? And thanks for watching.

Haha! They sure are on wrong. Good eye. I evidently wasn't paying attention when putting them back on after they were knocked off the Falcon last. Thank you!
OOOHH!! How did I miss that? I can't believe I have never even pressed it in by accident in the two years its been loose. I'm amazed my four year old has never discovered it. He presses every button he can when the opportunity arrives. Thanks again Paul B!
HI man !!, you are putting the scape pod in wrong way , for that reason the door doesnt close too well , and also you cant hear the sound when the pod park in there, cos the button inside cant be pressed.- Saludos !!
Hello! Funny you should state that today. Just yesterday my son stuck his arm in there and I heard a sound effect that was unfamiliar to me. I had no idea. Thanks for pointing that out; appreciate it.
Great review. Showed me some parts that I need. Are all the landing gear the same (size/direction)? Do you know where can I get landing gear for my 2008 Falcon?
Really good video review of a cool ship, can I make a suggestion? Get rid of that background music your running, it is REALLY distracting. Plus it makes it hard to hear some of the sounds from the vehicles.
Thanks. I hear you. It is my favorite piece. Funny story... the first one I bought was stolen off my porch upon delivery several years ago. Three years ago I bought a loose one listed complete but ended up missing 2 projectiles and three landing gear. I returned that trash. Then finally I found this one for $300 2 1/2 years ago. It was tough trying to get one of these. Thanks again, appreciate it!
Thank you for the review, helps too much!, I have a question, what is the part shows on 12:31 min?. My falcon does not has it!, thank you, hi from México!
I looked at the plans for the millenuim falcon which are the same as the ones in the Lego the force awakens videogame falcon and there doesn't appear to be any
those knee joints on han are awful! would be good if that cockpit entrance door was real not just a sticker and opened up to see through into the cockpit. could do without the the escape pod...would prefer to have more internal space and other features instead. is that for real? there was an escape pod in that section of the ship on the real MF?
Well...not sure if The Last Jedi folks knew of this pod feature and decided to use it in last Jedi or if it had always been a part of Falcon we had never seen in a film but Rey used this escape pod in The Last Jedi so I guess it's canon now lol
