I remember this exchange between droids in Clone Wars: Droid 1: “This is a lot more fun when they’re not shooting back!” Droid 2: “I still can’t seem to hit anything!” Grevious: (punches Droid 2’s head off)
EXACTLY! They did a better job than rebels, but still. I feel like they should have used Army Troopers with a few stormtroopers mixed in. And for the finale instead of a whole platoon of dark troopers they could have a few and everyone else be stormtroopers
@@fabian2062 that final scene would obviously be changed. And as I said, there would still have to be SOME dark troopers on board, just not as much. They could just make the Dark Troopers there harder to kill
I’m just going to guess around 210 but I’ll edit my comment after this - Ok It was 277 Kills I guess I was a little close tho... Oh yeah is it just me who LOVES the music playing when Luke arrives?
@@angelemanuelgomez4326 5387 and 5389 were ordered by another stormtrooper to follow him. It might be these two stormtroopers at 0:56 It's only a "might" because this therory makes the most sense but not 100%.
I feel bad for all the stormtroopers, mainly the ones who didn’t even know they’d die, or didn’t know their friends were actually the main characters in disguise. The most of all, the shore trooper with the lunch tray, :(
Fun fact: Stormtroopers that die because of Dumes, Dins and Fennecs blaster dont die. You wanna know why? Because their armour is made of plastoid, the same material which Darth Vaders armour is made of. So they often can go in a bacta tank and fight another day. But they dont survive lighstabers cuz plastoid is quiet heavy when theres a lot of it. So they only have a little bit of plastoid which protects them from blasters
If you are on Imperial side: You die If you are on Galactic Republic/Rebels/Resistance side: You live (This is the main problem, the director always makes the good ones win)
Between the Mandalorian and Rebels, I think its about time we got a flashback of the Empire conquering, slagging/glassing, or outright destroying a planet
@@sockpocketpre-alpha8258 because there are millions if not billions of habitable planets in a Galaxy, and as bad guys they may want to make a example of a few of them
@@sockpocketpre-alpha8258 Why would they want to destroy a planet? To strike fear into the hearts of millions of people across the galaxy, as well as forcefully stopping it's ties with the rebel alliance if said planet has ties with them. What do you think Alderaan was blown up for?
Scott Kolonko The Empire isn’t mindlessly evil, dumbass. Making them go out of character to destroy a planet for no reason other then to make them more bad guys is lame as fuck.
GabeTheEdgelord Alderaan was a rebel sympathizer’s stronghold. There was thought put into their actions, however evil they were. Having them destroy an entire planet somehow with limited resources would also be impossible and stupid considering the dominant power in the galaxy is the New Republic.
The problem with Season 2 is that Stormtroopers are just cannon fodder. Even my gf was taken out of the moment a couple of times with just how unbelievably bad they were. At least in season 1, you can understand because the troopers there looked old, run down, and beat. Here they look no different than their original imperial counterparts. Plus, the Beskar's literally plot armor is getting old real fast as there's literally no more tension because now we know that Mando can take a lightsaber and a dark trooper punch to the face and be okay. Great show nonetheless but they really need to address these issues. The characters seem too bulletproof
Agreed, the stormies were droping like flies. Season one storm troopers felt more threatening then what we see here. Its hardly even a fight. Sure, we get to see mandos be badass, that I understand, but c’mon, i find more tension in what brutal way the next stormtrooper is killed then what happens to the characters
Imperial units of any kind: **Exists** Bo-Katan: “So anyway, I started blasting.” Boba: “Haha missiles go brrrrr.” Mando: “Stabbing time.” Luke: “You’ve lost existence privileges.”
@@soundeffects6129 in my "headcanon" Jean's guy was a disciple of lord Gonk who had been spying on the Empire and secretly stealing their resources, he was cut out of the episode by lord Gonk who held Micky Mouse at gun point to take him out the episode so no one would catch on, wait wh- Jean's guy is in my house help!
I got to say the deaths were brutal compared to the movies. From falling into lava, into a waterfall, to being dropped out of a space ship into the ocean.
Hail Imperial Citizens. I'd like to remind you all that, ones who are simply shot but there is no visible hole in their armor are most likely unconscious. They'll probably die if they don't get proper medical treatment (which we never see them recovered so they most likely died), but for the moment they're still alive. Ones who got crushed, blown up, stabbed, and had their heads smashed are for sure dead, but a simple blaster bolt square to the chest doesn't make them dead, but they can die later (such as when the bases blow up, or they fall off a cliff when shot). Same for some of the Scout Troopers, some of them just fell off their bikes that doesn't mean they died, but they could be dead later because of the lava.
The imps are already jokes in the series because they drop like flies, but it was a whole different level. I don't know what was a purpose of this scene except to hate Bo-Katan. I want to be comfortable with my heroes.
A lot of them are dead but most aren’t. The blast doesn’t penetrate the armour, which means they’re just in a lot of searing pain because the heat dissipated all over their body
Yeah but after they get hit, they would need to seek medical attention to recover from the wound, to which if they don't do so in time because they can't, they're dead anyways.
No one: Absolutely no one: This comment section: "What about the mortar trooper in the tragedy" "This show treats stormtroopers as a joke" "How is this entertaining?" "Jeans guy"
I don’t think he’s dead, she punched his blaster out of his hands when he tried to kill himself. And she said she wanted him alive. Plus, punches to the face aren’t lethal most of the time
@@thewordoflynx8095 yep this show is just rebels but they’re allowed to show people die in gruesome ways. Just a bunch of stupid low stakes adventures. I actually hate the mandalorian because it’s just an adventure show, barely any lore at all. The purge which was talked about a lot in season 1? Mentioned twice by bo and that’s it. Barely any mandalorian lore in either of the seasons. It’s definitely a show for casual fans, like, you guys love seeing stormtroopers getting their asses kicked! Here’s a show that’s nothing but stormtroopers getting their asses kicked! Yay! Give us your money They were sitting on a goldmine of legends lore about mandalorians. But no
@Darth Sidious I said mandalorian lore. There’s not that much of it. Krayt dragons are a big deal, yes. Dark troopers are very exciting, though they did nothing at all here, they’re just stormtroopers basically. But I wanted more mandalorian lore, especially in a show called the mandalorian. Jango fett being a foundling being canon again and this new cult of mandalorians really isn’t much. That’s my problem.
Theory: Dark Troopers is really lightsaber-resistant, it's just Luke developed lightsabers that can cut pass lightsaber-proof armor, and sometimes it doesn't work so he use other kinds of attack like force crush.
Getting a bit tired of these "bad-ass" characters just killing off large amounts of people without any problems. Hopefully Disney will grow the balls and have a stormtrooper sniper with specialized rounds put a hole in one of those Mandalorians next season...
I agree there should be a sniper with specialised rounds but when it comes to characters more "bad-ass" against a few stormtroopers who do you think would win, a deadly assassin who's extremely dangerous and experienced with many combat skills including shooting, fist fighting and melee attacks or 4 regular old stormtroopers who just need a check to pay off some Bill's.
@@clonecoric4140 of course the assassin would win, I fully agree. However this is also the "problem" for me; there is no real opposition for them and this takes away a part of the excitement and the sence that they are in real danger.
I guess 9 dark troopers were destroyed by Luke off screen as there were 40 in total: Gideon's dark trooper platoon | Wookieepedia | Fandom. Also, you missed the officer that Cara choked out in Chapter 12 and the stormtrooper that Boba punched in the gut then shot or rocketed in Chapter 14.
I used to cry for these guys cuz of how they were humanized in Fallen Order. Then it occurred to me that the remaining storm troopers are speciest fascists. Sigh of relief.

so....they extected us to believe that there were 70 Stormtroopers on board of those TWO Transport Ships in the Boba Fett Episode???? Sometimes less is more. they should have made them more dangerous and competent, and focus on cooler choreography and killmoves instead of axing them off left and right like they were nothing!
