Training has begun for the young scavenger turned Jedi, Rey. Her training has not progressed as she thought, due to the reluctance of her Master Luke Skywalker. She must now learn the history of Luke's failure in his training of Ben Solo with the fate of the galaxy at stake.

I really enjoyed your film guys.I have been a Star Wars fan for 40years now so feel qualified enough to be able to tell good from bad when it comes to Star Wars and found yours really good, you didn't just rely on cgi you told a good story on what im guessing wasn't a huge budget and told it well. I sat glued to my seat. Thank you guys. I wish you all love and light. Good luck and am looking forward to seeing more from you 😀

Really, really well written. I though the acting was great. Alana (spelling?) was perfect (and pretty :-)), Ben was perfect as an angst-ridden young man. I wish the writers of the current trilogy would consider fan-made films such as yours. You just did a super job on this - many kudos!!

Found it interesting that Kylo Ren used the crystal from the lightsaber of the person he supposedly cared about. Gave it a kind of symbolism.

Great movie. I love how it was actually an hour because fan films usually are like max 30 min. Constructive criticism: The final version of Ben could have had a little less hair.

This is a cool story and the editing really helps polish the video. I ignore the audio issues. If you guys do make another one consider post audio like the Italian films.

This is nice.. some things could've been better , but definitely impressive. An hour long too , that's crazy commitment..bridging the original with the sequel is awesome since no one at Disney decided to really show us how everything went down

Matt Thomas that's awesome.. I wish I was a little younger when the ability to do this type of thing became more accessible to regular folks .. some of these are so cool.. I don't know a ton about the eu other than what I started learning from RU-vid the last 5 years.. atleast the fans know what Star Wars is about if the studios don't .. hats definitely off to you and gl with anything you do in the futures

The one who played Luke should be his voice in Video Games and Non-Live Action Projects. He sounds just like younger Luke! (Bob Bergen is still a great Luke but I don't think they have hired him for years and so far they have Matthew Mercer voicing him)

Good Han Solo, the voice mannerisms not bad same with Luke well done. After 13 minutes I'm seeing the acting not the faces. I don't need to close my eyes to see the characters in front of me well done. I can't imagine how much effort this took. I'm readying myself for solo so anyone that see's that and wants to warn me Ive seen and heard enough but thats why seeing a good Han now is interesting haha.

Glad I could spot the effort then being the old staple characters if you make it slightly off its hard not to notice. However those guys where excellent now having seeing the entire thing. And thank you for the highlight I don't comment often. With how much we know about Kylo and how Starwars is going all I can say is I wish you'd had a bigger budget. But if you'd directed 8 the result would of been like the fall of the Empire. There'd be echos of thousands of cheers crying out in relief haha. You actually gave kylo something, Literally something the films on the other hand. Last I think your take on Luke is what we expected the man that Resolute turns his saber off doesn't cause anything himself as he did when he'd beaten down Vader and I liked seeing that starwars style writing parallel. Best of luck to your future projects.

I liked force awakens but have always felt the previews miss led us thinking luke would be big part. I think I now feel this story would have been better as episode 7. Star wars: a new order. Showing the new Jedi order and also the first order ready to rise with Ben going to dark side. Episode 8 rise of first order and blend force awakens and last jedi. Rey could have been in the order escaped with Luke to the island . luke and rey still save the day like last Jedi and then episode 9 resistance revenge. Play out the war of the sides. Snoke is alive. Nice job

I enjoyed this. However, Luke was himself tutored by Obi wan Kenobi and never attended the academy. Thus for him to be training more than one apprentice was a recipe for disaster.

These actors need to have more feelings. I am not actor but I know when there's a good one. When one is acting, you need to feel the action as if you are experimenting the pain in real life. You need to"live" inside the character you are representing. This young actors are behaving as if they are in a high school acting scene. Live it instead, if you realy want to succeed as an actor!

We do, after the last jedi came out. At the beginning of production we had a nice green saber at our disposal. As we used the glow of the light saber at times, which made it easier for me to trace the light saber to add to the effect, the green would have bled through the blue, making it look unnatural. for us it was convenience of location. We live right next to the perfect wooded area for what our goals were for this project. At the same time we wanted to go for a more practical location, as a lot of other fan films use green screen that doesnt always turn out the best.

Besides, the comics was some horrible, fan fiction attempt at saving that sorry damn excuse of a horribly written trilogy. JJ Abrams should've stuck to writing the entire thing by himself to make it AT LEAST coherent like any story should be.
