Definitely focuses on the heart of the story and not the rise of the Empire and galactic wars to restore the republic order that brought peace to the Galaxy with the Jedi. What I loved about this trailer is it made you want more in an exciting way and that's what a trailer should do.
I think its more like: Prequel Trilogy: Fall of Skywalker Original Trilogy: Return of Skywalker New Trilogy: End of Skywalker After TLJ I really don't think there's a way to save it. I hope so, but will not raise any expectations to be further disappointed.
@@Danbo22987 The D23 one sucked ass and barely included the prequels at all. This one is the whole story, all the most iconic moments and music from start to finish. The official one is boring, lazy nostalgia bait shown out of sequence.
Soundtrack used: 0:07 Duel Of The Fates 0:22 Across The Stars (Love Theme) 0:39 Battle of the Heroes 0:46 Anakins Dark Deeds 0:56 Thrones Room [End Titles] 1:12 The Rebel Fleet 1:22 Yoda And the Force 1:30 Princess Leia's Theme 1:48 The Jedi Steps and Finale (Rey's Theme) 2:04 The Rebellion is Reborn 2:20 The Jedi Steps and Finale
@@stannoordermeer yes, go listen that part you said starts when they arrive to the planet Ach To, not when she's climbing the rock, that THIS IS THE PART when Jedi Steps starts for obviously reasons
The transition to The Force Awakens was perfect. In fact, the entire Force Awakens edit was the highlight. "The Jedi WERE real". You gave every trilogy its own distinct feel. 1:45
The fact that TFA has to retread into making the Jedi an extinct myth once again shows how fucking deprived of inventiveness this Sequel Trilogy really is.
@Justin Sabatini Ohhhhh right, I'm the one ruining the fun, not Jar Jar Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy's shitty malpractices, just to give us a crappier remake of ANH. Get lost.
Prequels: The Rise of Vader Originals: The Reign of Vader Sequels: The Legacy of Vader 💓😢 Also, how do fans make better trailers than these billion dollar studios? They should play this before The Rise of Skywalker! I can't wait to see these montages when Episode IX comes out and there's a treasure trove of footage to use to make everything feel whole.
For the prequels, I prefered Obi Wan as the main character 1.watch his master death in front of him 2.Lost his friend and protegee 3.still loyal with the force and fight dark side
“I will not be the last Jedi” - **shows Rey and Ben** “No one is ever really gone” - **shows Rey with her Lightsaber ignited looking at someone emotionally** In conclusion I’m 99% sure Kylo Ren is going to turn and save everyone...
Also: Reys theme is so goddamn good. All the the music in Star Wars is incredible, but there is something so subtle and classy about the sequel trilogies music and how it nods to the past while bringing in new elements. And it’s on perfect display here.
Rey's Theme brought me back to 2015 and all of the palpable excitement for TFA. It's so good - I find myself humming it all the time now. Kylo's theme too.
@@EscapeVelocity11186 Kylo and Rey's themes and TFA were fantastic. And I have grown to accept TLJ too. But TROS I feel like is where this whole trilogy loses its validity.
@@kungolaf4499 This is a hard one, because a lot of people have a variety of opinions on TROS. It's split both sides of the fandom even more - the pro-TLJ people have been split, and the anti-TLJ people have also been split. Overall, I quite enjoyed TROS even if I don't think it's as good as TFA or TLJ, but I do think it stuck the landing decently. Kylo's arc of the light calling to him gets a nice payoff and we see Ben Solo before the end, and Rey's arc of fighting the dark gets a whole movie to be expanded before she becomes a true Jedi. It's a very different style of movie from TLJ and even TFA, which I think is causing some of whiplash within the fandom when it comes to TROS.
Rose's them for TLJ was a great choice of music for the scenes because Rose is a so much important Character in Star Wars, she's literally us, spectators, in the Galaxy Far Far Away
Star Wars (1977); this is what all trailers should really feel like, exciting and emotional at the same time. Heck, you even made "The Last Jedi" look pretty good ;) good work
Bennerd Truuu! Coming off of Rogue one, I thought TLJ had a chance to be the best Star Wars, and that we were gonna get Luke back as great as ever. When the trailers released I was so pumped, Waiting for a crazy dogfight between Poe and Kylo Ren, a massive display of Force rage when Luke realized Han died, and some sweet new Force powers as Luke battled Snoke. Alas, Nothing happened.
Solvem Probler Studios Man you expected probably one of the most middle of the road, straightforward and boring Star Wars movies I’ve ever heard of. Poe and Kylo went blow for blow, they just didn’t face each other directly, but they both wreaked havoc in their own way. Luke sinks to a low point only to rise even higher than he ever had in the originals, allowing him to become so legendary that the resistance, which as of now consists of a few dozen people stowed away on the Millennium Falcon, might have a fighting chance. Snoke was just a dude that made Kylo his puppy until Kylo didn’t need the master or the leash anymore. Much less interesting villain to my eye, had a lot less going for him than Kylo. I’m glad we got the movie we did, and I think it’ll age well.
Geralt of Trivia I disagree. He was a Legend, who fell from grace, and saved 13 people, even though he had the capacity to save more. The mere fact that he tried to Kill Kylo, an innocent boy, but refused to kill his father, the man who purged thousands Is ridiculous. They took the most optimistic and pure hero ever and broke him- which is actually a great idea- but the way they broke him was ridiculous and weak. And then there’s 40 minutes in space Vegas, and Lando wasn’t even there.
Prequel Trilogy: Love to this day Original Trilogy: Same Disney's Woke Trilogy: Piece of hot garbage, storylines are all messed up. Mandalorian: More character development in 15 mins than all 3 DT movies combined and I love it
Great trailer, definitely made me feel like ! However, I have two critiques. 1) Vader’s “Obi-wan never told you what happened to your father” line abruptly cuts off at ‘to’ during the transition between ESB and ROTJ when ‘to your father’ should’ve been the key words of the transition. And 2) the music for ROTJ should’ve been the ‘Luke and Leia’ track since ‘Princess Leia’s Theme’ is from ANH’s soundtrack. Aside from that, this has to be one of the best of the “Skywalker Saga” fan-made trailers I’ve seen! Nicely done! 👏👏👏
This is one of the greatest RU-vid videos ever made. I've loved Star Wars for as long as I can remember and by The Rise Of Skwaylker in this trailer, I was shedding a tear. Thank you for making this!
I got sent this video and asked to make a reaction to it as I love Star Wars so much and WOWWWW this video is amazing! Massive love for making and full credit given in the video and in the description!! Thanks again for making
@@Yoda-wf6bu Yeah, I agree. It seems to fit as a transition shot between trilogies, and it could serve as part of the "story within a story" framework the video created by opening with Rey touching the saber - the OT would be partway through the vision the saber is giving her.
Yes, it is called "subliminal programming", a very dangerous tool used in brainwashing propaganda by trying to connect something good with something bad in a subliminal way. The maker or makers of this are bad people
This is literally the best saga trailer I’ve ever seen. Lucasfilm should release this. The choice of music was absolute perfection, and it gave me so many chills-especially during the Attack of the Clones, Empire Strikes Back, and Force Awakens portions. In less than 3 minutes this video made me feel so much. Bravo SxDementia.
I love STAR WARS so much, it's a part of my soul. It's very nostalgia and It's sad to see it will be the last episode and after good bye R2D2, C3PO, Palpatine etc. I have to admit, I cried when I see this video.
"I believe in these movies. I think they're very entertaining and I think if I can get a room full of people and they enjoy it, then I've done what I hoped to do." -George Lucas
I personally loved love all the Star Wars flims and I know this is an unpopular opinion but I think Rise of Skywalker is the best Star Wars flim yet and had a perfect ending to the saga but that's just my opinion.

I’ve been a big fan of your edits for years, the dark knight trilogy is one of the best. This is next level, the music transitions are seamless, and even though I’ve seen the movies 100s of times, you made them feel new and fresh. I have a podcast for filmmakers, I’ve had lots of great guests including Ryan from Filmriot, I’d love to get you as a guest if your interested. Great work!
I am very excited about this SW9 movie. I just want a thing to happen, Anakin helps killing or kills Palpatines so It make sense to the Entire Sage who refeers to the Prophecy.. Anakin must bring Balance.
This video is beautiful. My only advice: make this same video again in a couple of months, but with the updated images of Episode IX, the trailer images do not do justice to the movie itself.
Man, that was a good trailer for the Skywalker Saga. Out of all the other ones that I have watched, THIS one has to be the BEST one, and it was in my recommended!
I don’t know what it is but I cannot wait for ROS but at the same time I’m seriously dreading it. I mean this is the saga of a lifetime and it’s ending in 23 days!
seems a fuck up fight of two families, Skywalker vs Skywalker, Skywalker vs Palpatine, Palpatine vs Palpatine .... entire civilizations spanning across galaxies involved in these two families fight 🤦🏻♂️
The story where Luke faces down the greatest threat to galactic peace alone and wins, inspiring an entire new generation of rebels through his heroism, that seems like about as good an ending to his life as I could think of, even if ROTJ was the end to the father and son conflict.
Jack Hummer I’m aware of this but the story that happens after in the EU is still my canon George Lucas doesn’t agree with anything after episode six rather it’s EU or Disney so if we going by your logic then Disney isn’t canon. The only difference between EU and Disney is that Disney made their into a movie. But it’s based off you point of view. EU will always be my canon I grew up with dark empire , jedi academy and etc. the Eu is better in many area unlike Disney when it comes to plot and characters.
This Retrospect Trilogy Video gave me Chills! From the time as a 11--Year Old Boy watch Star Wars in '77 (not called ANH yet) to Rise of Skywalker, Lucas has taken Us All on a Thrill of a Lifetime!
Brilliant! I celebrated May the 4th by binge watching my way through the whole Skywalker saga on Disney+. It was a great experience, though I don't think I'd do it again though as it took me 23 hours to get through all 9 movies. While it was great watching I-IX, I do sometimes feel the sequels should've been their own standalone trilogy instead of VII-IX of the Skywalker saga. Mainly cuz I-VI focuses on Anakin/Vader. But I guess looking at the saga from a different perspective, it's more about different generations of Skywalkers from each trilogy. Anakin & Padmé (father & mother) in I-III, Luke & Leia (son & daughter) in IV-VI and Ben (grandson) in VII-IX.
General Abrams.. Years ago you made a fine film THE FORCE AWAKENS. Now We beg you to help us in his struggle against bad writing. The fans have placed information vital to the survival of the Saga into the systems of this internet. You will know how to retrieve it and must see this information safely delivered to them in the magic kingdom. This is the fans most desperate hour. Help us, J J Abrams. You're our only hope.
.. and so the Story of Skywalker was told spanning across three generations, an epic Saga of a powerful Family wielding it's Force in the whole Galaxy. 😉
Well say what you want, i really enjoyed the rise of skywalker. I think Johnson had caused that much damage with TLJ, that this was the best outcome we could have had after it. Obviously the film could have been better and there were ALOT of bad points, but also ALOT of cool shit. The voices at the end gave my goosebumps.
