If they gave us a Rex packed similarly to Fordo with the two helmets and two pauldrons; that would be amazing

I personally actually like the black series figure, but that could very well be because it was the only rex I could find for the longest time.

It's a shame this figure isn't up to the standard as Fives, Jesse and Echo, but I never got the Black Series version so I'm not too broken up about picking this one up.

The figure is pretty disappointing but at least the card back is good. I won't pick him up but I would if they changed the figure. Great review and Merry Christmas!

Wow a boba fett and fennec series coming up. That means I am selling off my marvel collection to buy all the new toys coming next few years in the TVC and black series. No reprints for me just Black series for the tv shows I will do and TVC all of them even repaints. Great video. Opened up and finally out out my Barge. Damn it’s big

It’s a real shame they went with that mould. Even using that bad mould for the body but giving it the bar bell peg and head sculpt w/ removable helmet like they did with Wolffe would be miles better than this. I hope we do see the Arc trooper mould modified and used for clones in future (although the three of them seem a bit short imo when compared to the original Clone Wars figures I wanted to display them with, it would be nice if they were just a few mm taller).

I like the new colors more vibrant, what I didn't care for was no removable helmet, back to the drawing board Hasbro. I will still try to find this one. Wish me luck Bossk!!!

You can actually put the clone wars Rex helmet on the TVC/black series Rex to make it more accurate.

They already know after the VC150 Darth Revan issue you would think Hasbro would have learnt that we dont want inferior repacks in the Vintage Collection. I would say that most of us would be more than happy to wait the extra time it takes to release it properly.

I see this guy in Smyths occasionally, and since it's the only other tvc clone I can find after Echo I might just buy him one day

If they just did a new head/helmet sculpt and used the Wolffe retool body this might’ve gone over a bit better for them. Not quite as good as say, producing that prototype they had with the removable helmet, pauldron, and cloth Kama, but better.

Big shame we didn't get a new sculpt of rex but he will do short term Tim The figure 6/10 for me 👍

This figure is missing blue paint on it's elbow pads,although the 2015 version has it.

I'd like to see him next to the new 501st figures 🤔

I missed out on the 2003 version but I'm getting this version carded and uncarded. So my 501st can have a Captain Rex at long last. But dangit will he look meh to my Cody and Wolfe.

Your usual high quality review, BB, thanks. But, I'm not gonna lie, these clone troopers just don't do it for me. Original Trilogy all the way! Let's have TVC Star Wars (ANH) Stormtrooper, ROTJ Scout Trooper, ESB AT-AT Driver etc. Come on, Hasbro, get your finger out!

The legs on the old figure seem further apart than on the vintage collection is it possible to spread the legs at all on the figure or is that a mistake

Every time I see those dents in your white background screen I rub my tablet screen like it has a scratch, lol!

the bad batch rex has just as many problems, most are easy fixes, some are not, the body completely missing paint app's is not right, just lazy, the helmet is easy be fixed, and there are a few heads you can use, since he more bald boba head can work, not sure why they didn't just go with boba or jesse head but, wonder which came first arc trooper jesse or boba, seem be same head

We will get another rex tho, so win win I guess

This is proof of what I always am “negative” about this crap where they had a new sculpt already but with a phase one helmet and they CHOOSE hypos annnnnnd the most embarrassing part is sooooo many people who supposedly love this line they’ll get right in line to preorder this repack bantha fodder soooo when you sit and wonder why they keep choosing to not go back to the 2010-13 VC line you people choosing to buy this crap are the people to blame because they’re attempting to shift over to 6inch therefore we all lose because we rebuy all the figs we’ve already bought from Hasbroke and nothing NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW will come from this once amazing company haha 😂 I’ve been being negative because this goes no where gun for anyone collecting ANY scale hahaha! Not a fan of clones. I wasn't into SW in the late 90s early 2000s. I was in my early 20s and I was more interested in pink tacos. Everything revolved around girls. I'm and OT guy myself. Inwas born in 78.

I don’t care for removable helmets never have they make figures look really bulky and ugly the only real problem I have with this figure is the legs

lol helmet too small, helmet too big, helmet too tall, is there any pleasing us ?? to be completely honest all in all, this figure isn't too bad, i think the arc trooper helmet is about right, rex and cody and wolf, maybe sidious clone guard or kamino troops are done in new clone body

I like your review but the figure is Horrible its a lazy repack but I'm glad hasbro tried their best to get not this figure on the shelf but its was to late so I would say to collectors out there DON'T BUY THIS FIGURE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY
