The mold used for the Airborne Trooper does make me hope that we get other Death Watch figures like the Enforcer and Grunt and of course Pre Vizsla with a Darksaber made out of clear plastic.

After the fear that there may not even be a vintage collection anymore. (With the announcement of plastic free packaging ) We got some pretty amazing figures. While they were not figures that everyone wanted. Per se. I think it was a step in the right direction. They could lighten up on the clones and mandos and give us new hope, Luke, Han, Leia and Ben. Plus Dooku and a decent c3p0 . Vac metal and a proper scale. Please!!🙏

Nice Top 5 list! I personally think the Stormtrooper is the #2 best figure of 2022. Vader was easily my favorite TVC figure of 2022 by far!

Hey, the figure I voted for actually won figure of the year. Will wonders never cease? As someone who’s been buying modern Darth Vader figures since 1995, I really didn’t think Hasbro was going to be able to impress me with yet another Vader; but they really did pull out all the stops for this one.

All great choices for figure of the year, and I'm sure that there are many others that are just as deserving. Such a hard decision to make, but I had no doubt that the Vader would win. Thank you Bossk for doing this and Thank you Hasbro for all of the great figures.

Ok now that that the cats out the bag, I actually voted for Ahsoka (Corvus) as my personal favorite! However, it was really hard not to go with the new Darth, Death Watch Mandalorian, Fennec, Reva, Boba (deluxe version), Umbra Operative, or even someone like Cassian. And that’s exactly what I meant by it being a great year for newly tooled figures

Great video as always. I only began collecting again just before the summer of this year. I’m an opener so really appreciate the newer figures. I voted for Aayla Secura myself, but that’s only based on what I’ve managed to pick up this year. Unfortunately I have not managed to get a hold of any of the top 5,otherwise I think that Vader would have been my top pick. Happy New Year to you and the family. As long as they stop re-issuing figures to dilute the value, and rarity of loyal fan/customers collections, me personally will continue like past 14 years grabbing up all latest figs of TVC.But I worry lil about greedy Disney Corp over producing our collectibles cause they don't care a bit.BelieveI

I couldn’t disagree more. I stopped collecting when TVC took a hiatus several years ago as so many of the popular figures were ridiculously expensive and still are. Figures like Kit Fisto, Anakin Skywalker, General Grievous etc. are well over £100 each and, by modern standards, are all very outdated in terms of face paint and articulation. There’s no reason for them to be so expensive and hoarded by the minority when they could instead be enjoyed by the majority for a lot cheaper. It isn’t greedy of Disney to release updated models of figures. I remember when the Imperial Royal Guard and Shae Vizsla were ridiculously overinflated, and now I can pick them up on the cheap, which is still more than they’re worth for a plastic toy. The easier it is for people to start a collection, the more new investors the line will have for years to come and the larger the reinvestment Disney will put into new releases.
