Star Wars Unlimited Needs to be in MORE Stores! 

What I am going to say is coming from my own experience working at a large card shop. Lorcana drastically under printed their game. Star Wars, printed as much as humanly possible and it still all sold. Example, we sell about 200 boxes of magic per set (give or take per set of course) We sold almost 400 boxes of star wars in 2 months. We have talked to FF and basically they said, it was more popular than we expected but they number that would need to be printed to keep up with demand physically isnt possible. That being said, lorcana more or less died in our area because of the shortage in set one. (we still have some players but not nearly as many) We havnt had anything other then starter decks for a while and we still get a TON of players for local events. The game is WAY better than it should be, and its sticking around with no product on the shelf. side note. talking about a game being shorted while being surrounded by sealed product, while not the same game, is still a terrible look. lol

They sold more SWU in 1 month than their previous SW tcg sold in 1 year. Preorders by customers were basically non-existent. The game did a helldivers 2, and a week after release just exploded. They probably should have planned for a scenario that was "what if they game just takes off after we've had almost 0 traction leading to release."

This video gives me very big bullspit vibes. For all we know, FFG knows you buy up and scalp games to try to undercut brick and mortars and denied you product on those grounds. I mean, your shtick isn't fooling anyone.

I think companies print limited on purpose now. For 2 reasons. 1. If the product doesn’t fair well with people, they don’t take a loss with over printed product 2. If it does receive well, then all it does is drive demand. Human nature is we always want what we can’t have

I don't know if I feel the underprint I live in Brazil a country that got NONE of these other games at ALL even I wanted them... like no prints at all. There were TONS of SWU to get here. It legit blew up. Didnt they say they were going to do more set 1 soon?

I agree with everything you said. What just shocks me is the game is called Star Wars: “*Unlimited*” and yet, it is limited. Who cares about value. I couldn’t care less that my binder full of cards is worth $X,Y, and Z money. I just want the game to grow. I’m also shocked how many people in the community can’t read between the corporate double speak. I know set 2 is also going to be allocated in a way that only stagnates or hinders its grows. They did fail, and thank you for being honest on your Channel. They didn’t even believe in their own product which is why we see in this mess. There should have been boxes everywhere. Stores, including major retails like Target should be getting this game. I will enjoy the game for as long as possible, but if cards keep being “limited” and new players are priced out because A) they can’t buy product and B) The price to purchase singles is astronomical then the community does not grow. People better pull their heads out of their a$$. Sure you may enjoy selling your legendary on tcg and enjoy that sale, but at what cost? This game is in limbo right now, I know people may not think it or feel it, because of the “sales” but we all know hype can end and does taper off, and if the foundation isn’t laid (like you mention here in this video) it could suffer greatly.

Not to be “that guy”.. but this is nearly the exact same crap you saw with Star Wars Destiny and even the Call of Cthulhu TCG (yes before it went to LCG) back in the day. I don’t know if it’s ADC’s distribution model (I mean it used to all fall on FFG), or if they don’t take the needs of a competitive game’s player base seriously.. whatever the case may be FFG/ADC has never shown that they understand how to run (or even launch) a competitive card game long term. Their best success by far were certain LCGs, but even those, as soon as things looked promising they moved onto a new product and squandered every last ounce of good will they built. Their TCGs are always marred with poor product availability and exorbitant post-retail pricing.. and not just for a month or two but usually the first 6-12 months. I wish for a Star Wars TCG.. badly. But everything so far with SWU indicates that they learned almost nothing from how they handled Destiny… which is legitimately the best Star Wars TCG.. better than even the legendary Decipher game

I have a suggestion It's about reprinting the SoR You could add e.g. v2 or something else on the card to distinguish the reprint from the first series (as in Pokemon). Then everyone would be happy. New players will be able to start the game, old ones can fill in the gaps and collectors will know that the cards will not lose their value after reprinting. A win-win situation.

I bought 3 boxes on release at $100 each because they told us it would be unlimited and constantly printed...then they F all of us One store I went on release to see if they were selling it told me NO F ing way because the publisher was going to f things up and they didn t want to be burned. Seems like they knew history was going to repeat. If they don t reprint soon I ll give up on completing an uber master set
