Think about it like this, then: Sidious didn’t need to devour anyone or anything to have the ability to transfer himself after death into new mortal shells. Vitiate also didn’t do it alone. He had to trick other similarly powerful Sith to perform a big ritual that fed him without their knowing. If it weren’t for the plot needing the good guy Luke Skywalker to win, Sidious would’ve just kept respawning until he won in the end. Vitiate couldn’t and would never be able to smack around entire fleets with the Force like how Sidious did in both canon and Legends. (i hate rise of skywalker, but it is what it is)

Your words could have not been more wrong. Longevity doesn’t equal success or power. Sidious did that, and Sidious by nature was already more powerful in the beginning and in his end far more powerful than Vitiate/Valkorion. The books say so. Go read them. Or going to call the authors liars? But in most powerful Sith, Valkorion would be no. 2. Only Sidious and Abeloth would be more powerful. (Abeloth doesn’t count as a Sith, since she’s an abstract that is both dark and light side empowered)

i mean vitiate "somehow returning" makes more sense than palpatine "somehow returning" simply because vitiate has lived for over 1500 years and has cheated death multiple times already. it would be a huge plotwist for him to return in the canon movies and it would make sense just by going from his own quote: "My life spans millennia. @@Valkyraw that quote goes hard lol. But for him to return, he'd have to be done right. A genuine threat who isn't stopped with some magical mcguffin, but through some extreme struggle over multiple movies where he continues to take and gain ground. Being so extremely old and from a time long before, he would have access to powers and knowledge that modern force users couldn't even dream of.

That's barely even headcanon, that's almost exactly what happened. Revan says to him as he is dying that the Force always seeks balance. Even the legion of force ghosts against him is subdued by his power until they are covered in a miraculous glow, which is almost certainly an act of the Force itself.

Valkorion would absolutely steamroll over Palps.

This just shows that while Vitiate could earn a title for himself, Palpatine is standing on Bane’s shoulders and just keeping the status quo of normal Sith behavior.

Palpatine may have spent his entire lifetime plotting to take over the republic & use its resources to his own ends, but Valkorion spent DOZENS of lifetimes building up both the Sith Empire & the Eternal Empire from virtually nothing at all, & still managed to bring the Republic to its knees, & even brought both the Republic AND his old Sith Empire to their knees another time. Valkorion was far superior to Palpatine in every way, & it definitely shows.

I think its quite the opposite. In the end the force itself intervened to stop him, so he was like cancer for the force who needed to be removed in order bring balance

But there can only be one Sith'ari, the list of Jedi MGTOW en el Exilio is false. People often say that the Sith'ari is Darth Bane, but I don't think so. I think it's Sidious (if there ever was a Sith'ari... which is uncertain).

Bane had a lot of limits, first with his Orbalisk armor, and even after he was able to take off his armor, he was still very limited. That's why he lost the fight against Zannah on Ambria. Sidious however has *UNLIMITED POWAH* . He is the most powerful Sith lord the Galaxy has ever known, and that's a fact. There are other Sith Lords that had no limits like Vitiate or Nihilus, maybe Exar Kun, but these Sith didn't destroy the Sith Order to make it more powerful. Sidious however, did it. At least from a certain point of view. He "destroyed" the rule of two created by Darth Bane, and changed it. Darth Bane's rule of two stipulated that the apprentice had to overtake his master and take his place. However, Sidious always got rid of his apprentices (who were only pawns, slaves for him) when he found another one, more powerful. And his rule of two made the Sith Order stronger, as it ruled the Galaxy. And almost forgot to mention that Bane didn't consider himself the Sith'ari, but Sidious did. So in my opinion, if there ever was a Sith'ari, it would be Sidious.

@@clementlarnicol that's a lot of good points, but first, I don't think you're giving bane the credit he deserved, after he got rid of the armor he was extremely powerful, not any flaws to be explored, it is true he was defeated by zanna but it was very close! And besides Palatine had his share of weaknesses and mistakes, he was far from perfect and his arrogance ended up being his end, let us also not forget that he was overpowered by windu through vapade(not sure if I wrote it correctly), I THINK it was confirmed he didn't just pretend to be overpowered but I might be completely wrong, feel free to correct me

Yes the Eternal Empire is by far the best Faction in Star Wars in my opinion. Zakuul looks amazing with this skyscrapers which are reaching out of the Atmosphere

@@clementlarnicol Wrong, he mastered both sides of the force and setup his knights of zakuul to understand the force is more than just dark and light, which is why they were adept at all sides. The game even had him use both dark side and light side abilities to emphasize his mastery of the all of the force. Also, the guys you mentioned never lived for eternity. This force ghosts just chilled in tombs which they were not allowed to leave. And DE sidious could only possess clone bodies, he never had enough power to possess the body of an adult. And when he tried to possess barrel guy (by accident), barrel guy's willpower overpowered him and he and sidious both went to the force. Valkorion actually LIVED over 1300 years in REAL bodies.

@@davidk2023 No, no, no... People always think that Valkorion mastered both side of the Force, just because of one line "You have mastered the dark side. It is not enough. It never was" but that line means that the outlander (if he is a dark side user) doesn't have the will, the intelligence of Valkorion. Tell me when Valkorion uses a light side ability ; you can't, he never used the light side. The Empire of Zakuul had a special view of the Force which was neither dark nor light, but that does not mean Valkorion also had this view of the Force. He chose not to build an Empire of the dark side for one reason, he says it in the game on Dromund Kaas, the Sith Empire did not work (probably because of the infighting, due to the Dark Side and Sith philosophy which is to kill your master). And you are completly wrong for these immortal Sith. Darth Anddeddu was the first Sith to cheat death, and not just his spirit, but his body too. Sidious could possess other being than his clones, for example his posessed his Hand for a bit. And you must talk about Empatojayos Brand when you said barrel guy. It is not Brand that wins against Sidious, but the spirit of ALL the Jedi that unite against Sidious. From Odan-Urr to Yoda, Nomi Sunrider, Revan, ALL THE JEDI. And Vitiate living 1 300 years (actually it's more like 1 400) is not an argument. He and his Sith Empire were hidden on Dromund Kaas for 1 350 years.
