This one is good especially when unscarred Anakin ghost appears and the music plays with it . Makes me tear up to see the guy at peace and smiling after almost 25 years
Francisco Moreno - Hernandez well, to be nice; perhaps they will, sir! If you don't want your friends and family to be sad, this is a great song to play. This song always makes me feel happy! Tears of Joy is always better than Tears of Sorrow.
I had this played at my wedding after the wedding ceremony after my wife and I put on our rings and kissed. We then had this as the first song for our dance because marriage in many ways is a victory worth celebrating :)
Both are good in their own ways but this is more fitting in the saga with Anakin shown in his young unscarred form smiling again reminding us that he was actually loved and respected by many , called a rather pleasant person to talk to
Ninja boy Hawk me too! Finally, it's extended!! I feel like this extended version should be played at an Asian New Year's Eve party. Maybe even Japanese Asian New Year's Eve, also! That would definitely be something to be happy for.
Ninja boy Hawk well, the USA. shouldn't be afraid,or offended. MAN, think of how happy everyone would be if everything country was eager to embrace happiness!!
Who else listens to this and imagines a big reunion celebration with all of their long lost friends and loved ones who have either passed away or moved on?
exactly!!! some of my favorite memories are of watching star wars with my dad, and him taking me to see TFA when it came out. sure I have favorites out of all of the movies but I love the sequels and prequels just as much as I love the originals.
Jimb0 the sequels may not be be close to the originals but are no where near the disappoint and failures of the prequels. I’m thankful I didn’t have to see Phantom menace and attack of the clones in theatre with the expectation that they would be good
@Jimb0 mainly TFA because that's the only one I saw in theatres with him, but I'm glad that you're respectful of people who like the sequels :)) it's rare that people get to have friendly conversations on this fandom haha
This is the true ending of Star Wars. The Rebels have won, the Empire is no more. Palpatine and Vader are dead! Anakin Skywalker was redeemed and he destroyed the Sith once and for all, fulfilling the prophecy as the Chosen One. The galaxy is finally at peace. Luke went on to rebuild the Jedi. There is no Disney so-called “sequels.” The story ends here!
I will have this played at my funeral at the moment when people will leave the room with my urn/coffin. The message will be "Now that you have mourned, rejoice because I am free, rejoice because of your memories with me, because I will live in them forever". All of this while I imagine myself as a Force Ghost saying good bye to friends and family, like Luke saw his father, Obi-Wan and Yoda. It's pretty wild to think of that at my young age, but this song is so powerfull, it's moving me, make me thinking of my passed away father who made me discover Star Wars so many years ago. A great man he was.
I know that almost everybody loves the original song, but for a person, like me, who first saw the trilogy in '97 (special editions) in theatres (I was 4 and some months old), this is the only song I knew. i love it
I was around for the original release in '83 and am not a lover of the special versions, but this tune is such an improvement on Yub Nubl. To my mind it's the most innovative piece John Williams has ever written, conveying optimism and regret in equal measure. I was at a troublesome time in my life when this came out and I filled a 60 minute cassette (ask your grandparents what that is ;-) ) with just this tune to help me through.
@@zacmumblethunder7466 I agree on the song, and I know what cassette tapes are. I listened to music through them before ever getting gifted a cd - heck, I even have a third-party Walkman that I got as a present at least a decade before getting a portable cd player. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, May the Force be with you. Always.
@@KingOrest Actually I have heard that cassettes are making a comeback. I grew up with them, had them long before I got a record player. Something that strikes a chord with my generation is holding a cassette recorder up to the TV to tape sings off the pop programmes and demanding that the whole family sit absolutely still and minimise breathing until the song finished! Thanks, May the Force be with you too.
I don't think you can ever top seeing C3PO dancing with an Ewok to this. My Kids went ballistic, it's the only time C3PO has shown any real human emotion and what a time to do it!
All this song does after hearing and reading about how disastrous RoS was, Episode 1-6 forever, this is definitely the true ending to the Star Wars Saga, anything else after 6 is non-canon in my book.
i liked 7 through 9 and despite of all the hatred from other fans, i have come to an understanding that this all happened "a long time ago" and as anyone would tell the story of the past, it will be told in different perspectives (the legends and disney canon for example and by the novels, comics, games, etc). as the audience of these stories we are free to take what we view as what truly happened. I will always love Star Wars whether it would be a disappointment or phenomenal and i am glad to share this experience with other fans, young and old, those who are with us and those who are no longer with us.
@@bravo668 I view from a hypothetic Quora gave, if Disney made a sequel to Lord of the Rings after the copyright had lapsed, would I accept it, I'd say no because it wasn't the original vision by tolkien, it's the same principal, you may have liked 7 to 9, and that's your choice, I didn't like it because George Lucas said his movies were all about Anakin Skywalker. what he said made sense, and i view the ending at return of the jedi as the definite ending to the saga and nothing else follows. If you like the continuation, that's great, I'm not too big into star wars like i was before. I thought 7 to 9 should've been set 100 years later, and have no reference with the past SW characters.
@@unsensiblemischeifwell he created The Clone Wars and put Dave Filoni in charge, which concluded after Star Wars became Disney, and then Dave created Rebels and has been involved with The Mandalorian and Ahsoka etc. Filoni is the successor of George Lucas and is still creating quality Star Wars under Disney. Kinda weird to not consider any of that canon
I dont know how to describe the chills this song gives, it is very interesting because I am not a hardcore star wars fan, I dont have the "victory" context attached to it, but somehow the feeling it gives you is like you celebrating or cheering for something. Hard to describe.
My mom planed a surprise party for me because I got into Harvard university. And it was a rainy day, I already felt bored 😐. About 6 years ago my parents got into a Fight and left each other. But on August 2 2017 I had my party.... and I saw my dad!!😱 he was in a box that said:for my little girl. I ran to hug him. I will never forget that time.... and this song played... I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!!
Glad to here that, Blessings to you and your family, and congrats for making it to harvard, it's hard to make it all the way there, glad you were able to make it 🙂
I have a headcanon where this is an instrumental version of a somewhat famous lullaby. Similar to kumbahyah in the real world. It’s particular to the Skywalker saga because it’s the lullaby shmi sang to infant anakin. It’s fitting then that it’s sung after anakins funeral
@@choose3373 Fetching George's coffee like she did back then is all Kuntleen Kennedy is good at. You must not have heard how she was reprimanded in front of the board for being a shit boss lol
@@Avenging_Archer Oh no I've heard that my man. And I don't think I ever said anything about her being a boss did I? Hmm maybe you can read, all I was stating was that she has been with lucasfilm since the beginning so now all of a sudden everyone goes after her. Trust me I hate her ugly ass too but I don't sit there and hold grudges over someone cause of a movie.
@@choose3373 Apparently whoever is above her at Disney is not happy with her handling of Lucasfilms. But you're right mate, sorry if I offended you or anything, I didn't mean it like that. Have a great new year!
@@Avenging_Archer Nah your good dude haha have a great new year as well, I agree with you though I hate her lol and i feel she should have no part in the new movies cause as far as I know she was only around during the prequels and orignals I don't Beleive she had any say in the films.
I remember my dad commenting on this version of the music. He said that it reminded him of Peruvian music which was way more fitting for this particular scene instead of the original version. It’s much better in my opinion. ❤️
I always found the ewoks dull. But this damn song is amazing. Screw people commenting about how they hate the special editions, sequels or prequels. This is not the moment to get a hardon of hate.
I keep thinking "Welcome to the Jungle" is gonna start blasting every time I start this song... and this is like 5th re-listen today. Gets me every time.
El capitulo mas fascinante, cuando niño me encantaba mirarlo y sobre todo esta música que me emocionaba y me divertía jugando al jedy ja ja ja.... Excelente gracias.😎👍
