Hasbro’s Star Wars The Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker (Imperial Light Cruiser) Action Figure From The Mandalorian! #actionfigure #hasbrostarwars #vintagecollection
Oh man this is glorious, we're getting so many definitive TVC figures lately. Based on thumbnails alone it's hard to tell whether some of these are TVC or BS without reading the title. Good stuff Sean!
Thanks for the video mate! Yes while I agree that this is the best 3.75 Luke Skywalker figure ever, I am kind of disappointed that they didn't include all the updated articulation ie the bar-bell neck joint, the bar-bell torso and bar-bell hips. I mean they set the standard with the Dark Times Vader, and really all the core characters should get all the updated articulation. Hopefully this issue will be addressed in the upcoming BOBF Deluxe Training Luke figure. I am solely a 3.75 inch collector but after seeing your review of the SH Figuarts Mando Luke Skywalker I preordered the Reissue which will be released in July. It embodies everything I have dreamt about the perfect Luke figure and shall be the standalone 6 inch figure in my display cabinet.
I absolutely agree. Definitely an improvement but from the torso up is a fail. That SH FIGUARTS Luke is next level incredible. Definitely a masterpiece!
I like how when you take off the cloak he looks the way he did in return of the jedi. I got one and now have him in a duel with Vader on my bookshelf lol.
I never had a Luke in my figure because Episode I was the hot thing when I got into Star Wars. I never got around the TVC until last year so this Luke was essentially a necessary pick up. I'm happy to pose it next to Vader regardless of the anachronism! The face is fine. Accessories are 10/10 even if the blaster doesn't correspond to the scene so it's great for those who never owned the Jedi Knight release. HOWEVER... The reuse of old articulations bring this figure down. Bo-Katan and Corvus Ahsoka are the ones that did set the new standards and Dark Times Vader has set the bar for ANYTHING in regular TVC releases. I'm fine with the legs since Mandalore Maul and Ahsoka have proven that it can work... but that swivel torso is a huge disappointment, especially since it pivots so easily and it limits the character in action posing which, for a Jedi Knight... is a tough pill to swallow... and so is the single-ball neck when Old Luke (Last Jedi) DOES have the double-barbell joint. A good figure for those like me who do NOT have a Luke Skywalker. On that note, that new 40th anniversary's Return of the Jedi Vader... It will look PHENOMENAL with this Luke!
Yes he’s good but could have been so much better. The technology was there. I’m thinking maybe they are saving the update for the Grogu/Luke 2 pack we will eventually get.
Thats the blaster he takes when he's at Jabbas palace. Someone said the BS luke looks like he has a blaster holding hand but no blaster, i feel like he was supposed to come with one before they repurposed it for the mandalorian.
I waited for this guy to go on clearance.like the other figures did. I never saw him go on clearance so I just paid $22 for him. I just wished I got him earlier at retail price.
